How does a post become merit-worthy on Bitcointalk?
by

Hi everyone! I'm still new here and trying to improve my post quality. I’ve read a lot about the merit system and understand it's important for ranking up, but I’m not sure what exactly makes a post “merit-worthy.” Is it about length, research, or timing? I’d love to know what type of content usually earns merit and what mistakes I should avoid as a beginner. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Re: What do you think of this car company going web3?

Honestly, this is one of the more interesting real-world use cases I've seen lately. Unlike most NFT projects that offer just digital art or hype-based utility, Delorean seems to be building something practical by tying NFTs to vehicle reservations. If DMC can truly be used for future purchases or exclusive perks, it brings real value—and that’s what the Web3 space needs right now. The fact that it’s launching via Bitget also adds credibility. I’ll be keeping an eye on how the token performs post-launch. If executed right, this could set a new standard for legacy brands entering crypto.

Are AI-based altcoins like FET and RNDR the future of crypto in 2025?
by

Lately, I've been reading a lot about AI-based cryptocurrencies like Fetch.ai (FET) and Render Token (RNDR). With the growing use of artificial intelligence in Web3, I wonder if these altcoins will lead the next big wave in the market. Some say they’re overhyped, while others believe they have real-world utility. I'm curious to know what experienced community members think about these projects. Are they solid long-term holds, or just part of the current AI trend? Would love to hear your views.

Thank you for your honest feedback.

I understand how my post might have come across, and I appreciate you pointing it out. You're absolutely right—as a new member, I have much more to learn about how this forum works and how to contribute meaningfully.

I've already started reading the “Newbies — Read Before Posting” thread you linked, and I plan to focus on engaging with quality content and not just the earning side.

Re: When would be the real Altcoin Season?
by

Hi everyone,

I’ve been following this discussion and find the points about when a real altcoin season might start very insightful.

From what I’ve learned:
• Many believe it starts when Bitcoin dominance dips and BTC enters a consolidation phase :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}
• Others say we may only see a strong alt season post-2024–2025 bull cycle :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}

If I understand correctly, a few factors to watch could be: Bitcoin dominance percentage, altcoin trading volume, and major DeFi developments.

As a newcomer, I’m curious—how do you measure or spot these signals in real time? Volume spikes? Specific tokens leading the way?

Looking forward to learning from your insights.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been following this thread and find the discussion about when the real altcoin season will begin quite fascinating. As someone who’s still learning, I’m noticing that coins like Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL) have strong ecosystems with active development and real-world usage.

While older meme coins do capture attention during hype periods, they also carry much higher risk. I feel a balanced approach—holding reliable Layer‑1 and Layer‑2 projects—may be a safer strategy for 2025.

How do experienced members here manage risk between utility coins and higher-risk hype coins in preparation for the next alt season?

Thanks in advance!

Is Solana still a good investment for 2025?
by

Hello everyone,

I’ve been researching Solana (SOL) recently and found that many people praise it for its high speed and low transaction costs. Compared to Ethereum, it seems more efficient in terms of performance and user experience.

However, I’ve also read about the network outages Solana has faced in the past, which makes me a bit cautious. Some say it’s improving, while others think these issues could return during high traffic periods.

As someone who’s new to crypto and looking to hold a few coins for the long term, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Is Solana still a smart pick for 2025?

Newbie here – need help understanding signature campaigns and ranking
by
Dhadse55
on 25/06/2025, 14:25:12 UTC
Hello everyone, 👋

I’m Nikhil from India and recently got interested in crypto. Hoping to learn from this amazing community.

I just created my Bitcointalk account today, and I’m completely new here. My current rank is Newbie and I have 0 posts so far.

I’ve heard about “signature campaigns” and how users can earn by posting regularly. But since I’m totally new, I’m confused about a few things:

1. What is the exact requirement to join a signature campaign?
2. How do I increase my rank from Newbie to Jr. Member?
3. How many posts or how much time does it usually take to become eligible?
4. Are there any official threads or guides I should read first?

I want to follow the forum rules properly and avoid any mistakes. I’ve checked a few threads but still need a clear direction as a beginner.

If anyone can help or share useful links, I’ll be really thankful! 😊

Thank you in advance.
