Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4

So last night my power to the house went out, they restored it this morning and now I have 6 rigs that will not login.
They boot to the M1 login screen and when I enter the miner1 psw it goes to a black screen for a few seconds then right back to the login.

Did every single one of my flash drives get corrupted or what?

If you been on 19-1.3 or older Nvidia driver updated today and has nothing to do with power outage.

Run

Code:
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Update problem is solved in 19-2.0

I thought I was running 1.4, I'll download 2.0

Edit.... I can only find the 1.4 download link

Look at here https://github.com/papampi/nvOC_by_fullzero_Community_Release

or papampi signature

Sooo how do I update it manually?

I downloaded from the google drive and copied the file into the main folder and every time I click the terminal it just wants to mine.

Ok so a fresh copy of Nvoc -13 on a new rig.

What causes the mining script to display "screen is terminating" after loading the OC values?

It does it no matter what I do, even a fresh untouched 1bash it displays the same message before just looping back through!

in 1bash set LOCALorREMOTE to LOCAL. Set your coin, address and pool and restart

Yep tried that the first 4-5 times before pulling a fresh untouched 1bash from one of my other 4 rigs.

If I modify the the file or not it terminates and loops back through.

Still not working....
I tried Us and EU aswell as ports 8008 and 8888
I don't think it has to do with the pool address as I tried the hadl pool with the same results.

I can mine 4 other coins with out a problem but UBQ doesn't appear to work.

Can any one else get it to work?
Has any one else successfully mined it with NVOC?

Mate, can you help me by giving the result of this command when it failed?

Quote
ps aux | grep miner

Also try this line (closing the main console + wdog + temp control) just for a minute or so in guake terminal.

Quote
/home/m1/eth/ethminer_11/ethminer -S eu.ubiqpool.io:8008 -O yourUBQaddress.minerName:x -SP 1 -U

Let me know what you see and take the result of it. I've mined UBQ so many times and tested it too.

Tested the above just as of now :

Has any one mined UBQ with this?
Using one of my rigs that's been mining ZEC and ETH nonstop for the past month I attempted to mine it today and have been unable to connect to any server.
https://imgur.com/a/2NnlL

https://imgur.com/a/2NnlL

I was initially using V0019-1 but updated to the most recent version and the same problem persists.

So far I've tried all Is and EU servers listed with the same result.

My rig is back to mining ETH while posting this.

So the syntax in the code doesn't fit what the ubiqpool.io wants. So just go to your 3main file and edit the ETHMINER portion for UBQ coin with this:

Code:
screen -dmS miner $HCD -F [b]http://us.ubiqpool.io:8888[/b]/$UBQADDR --farm-recheck 200 -U

You don't need to edit the 3main file; you can just edit the 1bash file coin details like this :

Code:
UBQ_WORKER=$WORKERNAME
UBQ_ADDRESS="replace_with_your_UBIQ_address"
UBQ_POOL="http://eu.ubiqpool.io:8008"
UBQ_EXTENSION_ARGUMENTS=""

Its just the stratum bit the miner doesn't like (only if you are using ethminer/genoil).

Try this and let me know if you still see issues.

I tried making the changes you recommended with the same results.
I used both EU and us servers.

here is my 1bash
Code:
UBQ_WORKER="Dhodge87(1)"

UBQ_POOL="http://us.ubiqpool.io:8008"
UBQ_EXTENSION_ARGUMENTS=""

here is my 3main

then

Sorry for missing this bit, try this, Just removed the 'http' bit from pool address.

Re: Why is Dash pricing going down and why is difficulty going up and down
by

Basically all the people who have the D3 miner are causing the difficulty to exponentially rise while the market demand remains the same if not worse.

Basic supply and demand as of now the dash market is being flooded!

I hope you did t pay above msrp for your miners as of this response a single D3 with power cost of $0.12/KWH is earning $600/mo profit and that is dropping by $5-$10 per day, in about a month the D3 might make half that if the difficulty level continues to follow the current trend!

I sourced a 4u server case with the same dimensions from Craigslist for dirt cheap and with some time and DIY I was able to get a total of 9 GTX 1060 cards in the case running stable at 22.8 MH/s @ 85w and staying at 70C each with the kid sealed..
I can get 8 of the 9 cards to run at 65C but card number 5 won't go below 68C, I'm pretty sure it's due to the spacing of my fans as it is the card with the fan against the side of the case.

Here is a video.

I've formatted another drive with 0019 and it just doesn't boot into ubuntu now.
It loads to a login screen with user M1 and when I put in miner1 is just hangs....
Try it once again with HDD Raw Copy Tool. I had the same issue a few days ago and now everything works fine.

Thanks I just used Raw Copy to copy one of my other rigs with V0018 and gave up on V0019.

So I can't get the terminal to mine.
It just keeps running in a loop loading the power settings and detecting the GPU's, where as in v18 it'd load the cuss cores it just restarts the initial detection phase over and over.
