What did you order? Seeds? Maybe they got caught up in customs. What country are you in? Attitude seedbank accepts bitcoin as well and is very trusted if you wanted to use them instead next time.

I sent .33 BTC. The products never arrived and customer service could provide no proof of shipping, even though I also paid for tracking. They took my BTC in exchange for nothing, not even an explanation or apology.
can you provide proof such as screenshots of conversation with customer support, txid, etc? right now all you have is a claim. also, move this to scam accusations.

Yes provide all evidence. Without it it's just a hollow accusation.

Any specific reason only with 112 activity? If more any issue? Because it will be difficult for you to get account with exactly 112 activity.

Maybe he wants to get it cheap as a Member because it's only one away from being a Full Member. I think most would just wait till it was a Full Member before they sell it.

Yeah doubt someone is going to agree to this. People tend to go quiet when they have to put their money where their mouth is. Would have been exciting if he had though.

I think pretty much all alts will die eventually. There's just no real need for them currently and without merchants getting behind them they're worthless as a currency. If one was to succeed then it'll likely be one that hasn't even been created yet.

Its a nice concept but does it have a web interface?
If we have to download and install software, it won't take off. There has to be a web based design.

Same goes for bitcoin; it needs to be made more web friendly.

Lol. Are torrent's not popular? Skype not popular? Do people not use web browsers or tor or bitcoin because you have to instal them first. No. Sometimes for certain things to work you have to instal them, but I'm sure there will be other decentralised markets that are just websites but some people are going to have to run them to make them decentralised.

Re: Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson to bring Top Gear to Netflix

What are they going to call it? I read Chris Evans (the British ginger not the American actor) was filming a pilot to be the new host of Top Gear on the BBC or something. If Hammond May and Clarkson all go to Netflix BBC might as well cancel Top Gear because nobody will watch it.

Re: Malicous Links

I've not been here a year yet, so maybe I have no place to complain but I'm just wondering if other members are more than a little hesitant about clicking on links provided by other members.

I've seen posts warning about the possibilities of infecting your computer with all sorts of malicious code simply by clicking on a link in a post or signature. I know myself that I'm getting increasingly paranoid about the situation to the point of phobia. I've read that you shouldn't even trust links in Hero and Legendary Member posts because that account may have been sold to someone who would use that inherent trust against the unsuspecting curious.

Yes you should be vary weary. If a link is cloaked or goes to an unfamiliar site you should err on the side of caution. I'd recommending using linux as well to cut down on the chance of viruses but also not surfing the web with the computer you use to store or send your coins is a good idea.

Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ?
by

on 11/05/2015, 11:28:31 UTC
I don't think hate is exclusive to atheists. I actually think religious people tend to spread more hate that atheists. Most atheists don't really care about religious people just as long as they're not bothering them, but of course you have those outspoken atheists who spend most of their time telling everyone how stupid religious people are but even that doesn't really constitute as hate for religious people.

Barcelona - Bayern Munchen is a match to look forward to. I hope Bayern will advance to the next round.

My prediction for next BPL round :

Southampton - Tottenham 2-1
Burnley - Leicester 1-1
Crystal Palace - Hull City 2-1
Newcastle - Swansea 0-0
QPR - West Ham 2-3
Stoke City - Sunderland 2-0
West Brom - Liverpool 0-1
Manchester City - Aston Villa 3-1
Everton - Manchester Utd 2-2
Arsenal - Chelsea 1-1

I only got 2 correct predicted matches, rest is bad  Cheesy

I don't think many people could have predicted most of the scores on the weekend. Man U losing 3-0 to Everton and Aston nearly coming from behind to draw. 5 draws in total and a lot of underdogs winning.

Barcelona will become the winner of the champions league  Cool

I think it will be Bayern Munich.

The match between the Madrid teams will be amazing. I really like to see a physical battle. Bandits vs Royals.  Cheesy

Can Bayern and Barcelona meet in the final? That would be a great tie. I guess maybe a semi or something if not.

My choices for the premier league

Swansea - Everton 1-1
Southampton - Hull City 2-0
Sunderland - Crystal Palace 1-2
Tottenham - Aston Villa 1-1
West Brom - Leicester 1-0
West Ham - Stoke 1-1
Burnley - Arsenal 1-3
QPR - Chelsea 0-2
Man Utd - Man City 2-2
Liverpool - Newcastle 2-0

Re: New Snowden Documents Expose Canada’s Hidden Cyber Warfare Strength
by

The latest disclosures come as the Canadian government debates whether to hand over more powers to its spies to disrupt threats as part of the controversial anti-terrorism law, Bill C-51.

For some reason terrorism in Canada doesn't seem like a big threat to me. I guess terrorism is just the guise they try push through these 'controversial' measures because otherwise they wouldn't have a hope of getting passed. Surprised the public still buys it though.

I think a lot of people will be terrified of drones especially when we start seeing them flying above us all the time. I think there could be massive privacy concerns as well. People will use them to terrorize neighbors and stalk ex girlfriends etc. All seems very distopian.

Re: Don't lose your head! Full-body transplants will be possible within two years

This is interesting. How do they join two spinal cords?

good question.  we can't repair spinal cord damage yet but in two years they claim to fully transplant a head and reconnect all those nerves?  i think not.  also.. where do you get a donor body.?

I think it'll be a lot  longer than two years before this happens if ever. I saw that they tried this experiment years ago on a monkey but it only survived a few hours. There's a documentary on vice. Could be bullshit though but it seemed real. I'm not sure if I'd want somebody elses body if I was crippled. Some things just arent meant to be fixed once broken.

There will be security firms that specialized in handling bitcoin security, or education to increase the user's awareness of security risk

I think wallets will become more secure over time too. Both hardware wallets and desktop and online ones. I think maybe biometrics with 2-factor such as mobile phone will prevent scammers from stealing funds but as with any payment system there will likely be weak links.

Re: Silk Road Mastermind Ross Ulbricht Convicted of All 7 Charges

The judge had stacked the rules against him from the get-go so it was inevitable in my mind that he'd get convicted of something, if not the whole bag. If my back was against the wall like this and knew how things were going, I'd definitely take a chance and hop on the stand to defend myself. Can't do any worse at that point.

Let's be honest there's no way he or anyone else could have got himself out of this unless they could sting the feds on a technicality or where they broke the law. He'll appeal whatever he gets but its not looking good for him. He was very silly and niave though.

That is, sadly, hillarious. Did they debate on how much freedom it's ok to give them... just not too much. This country is just an example of what happens when you let men use religion to make the rules and is proof the literal interpretation of the quran or bible is not compatible with modern times.

Apparently his last post on bitcointalk was in 2011 or so, does anyone know where he went (in terms of the Internet, is he still developing bitcoin or has he left the scene)?

noone knows who he is, but i doubt hes helping with bitcoin, i think he left and sold everything long time ago
cheers

Sold everything? What do you mean by everything because his coins haven't moved from their addresses and I think that's one of the big mysteries surrounding him. I think he's moved on but I also think he's hoarding his coins for whatever reason.

Put it up for auction and see what you can get, though I'm guessing not much as domain auctions tend not to be very popular. If I was you I'd just try develop something on the domain. Get some traffic or hits and it'll increase your chances of selling it in the future.
