Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome?

Look around. Pay attention to what men you see with beautiful women. I think you'll quickly notice that they are not always the most handsome men. You have to realize that most women these days are full of complexes. They lack a lot of confidence, even if they put on a strong face. You just need to be yourself and be confident. I know you think that's cliche, but it is critical. If you don't feel confident enough, then get on that. Try to improve yourself and you will feel more confident. There are plenty of great women out there wait for a man like you.

Re: Blockchain without Bitcoin, is it going to happen?

The volatility in Bitcoin is an avenue for traders to earn money, this arrangement puts Bitcoin ahead of the Blockchain tech. thereby delaying global Blockchain adoption.  Blockchain without Bitcoin, is it going to happen?
What do you mean by Bitcoin being ahead of the Blockchain tech? Of course there are lots of people all over the world interested in mining and trading Bitcoin. That's because, as you pointed out, they can make money off of it. There are loads of other possible applications for blockchain though. They don't actually have to have anything to do with a crypto currency. It's just the idea of having a ledger shared across many different systems. If you just Google applications for blockchain, you'll see that many people are working on other ideas. This includes using blockchain for elections, shipping companies, online payment systems, etc.

Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges?

Think about it. Billions ot dollars in crypto market. Who would not attack that if you know how to.
I think this is key. Perhaps some of the exchanges have underestimated potential security risks. Whatever they do though, there will always be some vulnerabilities. It's just natural that hackers will constantly be attacking these systems. It's an endless battle between hackers and security experts from the exchanges. Each side is constantly trying to make sure their one step ahead in the game. There's a lot of potential money at stake.

Board Mining (Altcoins)
Re: At what price point people will stop mining?

I understand it depends on electricity cost and other "future value" thinking but at what price point of ETH, people plan to stop rig?
As mentioned here, I've also seen many people turn off their machines already. I have a good friend who's seriously thinking about it. Sorry for the amateur question, but how will mining machines being turned off affect the coin? Will it affect the price? Will it affect the other people who keep mining? I guess it would increase the transaction time?

Re: Samsung is considering using the blockchain to manage the supply network: it can

Thanks for sharing. This is good news. I think that the more blockchain is applied in different industries the better. People will become more familiar with the concept. It will gradually become more mainstream. This will, in turn, make it easier for people to understand cryptocurrencies. I can understand that it'll help with logistics. I thought the last big was interesting:

In addition to tracking shipments, the blockchain platform can even reduce the time and efficiency between product release and end-user shipping.
It would be nice if they could elaborate a bit on how that would work.

Haha, dude this is actually pretty legit. I really like the singing at the beginning. The hook is really smooth too. Get yo' hustle goin'! Haha. I'm not as much of a fan of the talking still on the verses. It kind of seems like a song mixed with a speech. I just start getting into the groove and then the speech starts again. The instrumental is super tight. Respect man. Keep up the creativity!

Re: STOP COMPLAINING!!!

Every single day there are different coins are introduced and new shit coin are produced (as they say). Don't get carried with your thoughts, Try to understand and be responsible of our action too, there are lot of people around the world who are taking advantage and make a use of it. The market right now is such a pain but also a learning to everybody. If you cant carry it anymore then leave nothing but footprints.
REMEMBER:

You earned on it, You give your best on it,You give time on it, then atleast lift up your heads.
I can agree with you to some extent. I can't say that I completely understand what you're saying. I do think tough that people need to take responsibility for their decisions. You can't just make stupid decisions and they complain to everybody when you get bad results. It's inevitable. It seems like half the posts on this forum around about the "bear" market. People are constantly complaining about losing. Complaining isn't helping anybody.

Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs?

A lot of projects are going on blockchain and new cryptocurrencies are being launched day by day but when can we actually see  them floating in real market for real use cases like buying a cigarette or bread? is it possible?

Depending on the acceptance of your country because other country are already accepted bitcoin as payments from hotel and restaurant and some of malls , although personally I have not yet experience on this things , but there's a project which I also follow , it's the Ubcoin with a very promising platform and the purpose is to buy goods using crytocurrency .
Could you please tell us which country you are talking about? Where can you pay for hotels and restaurants with cryptocurrencies? I'm not sure that I've heard to them. I guess the restaurants must immediately convert their cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies. Or are they paying their employees in BTC? I have a hard time believing that they can already buy their supplies with crypto. I'm sure this will all happen in the future, but are we already there?

I think we are just one company away from that. If a company that starts some cards like psn store cards or itunes cards that is tied to bitcoin but in fiat currency than we will have huge ways to actually buy $5 worth of bitcoin from some card in some grocery store anywhere around the globe. Those companies can charge some commissions from the sales and in the end it will come as a really expensive way to buy bitcoin because of all the costs involved however look at the ease of buying bitcoin which will be basically selling EVERYWHERE in the world as easy as giving 5 dollars and getting 5 dollar worth of bitcoin. As soon as a company does that, you are looking at a mass adoption.
Um, there appears to be multiple options for that in the US, at least. A quick Google search will bring them up. I don't want to advertise any particular site, but here's a list of 7 that apparently sell gift cards: https://www.ccn.com/7-places-buy-gift-cards-bitcoin/. This is definitely a nice option for purchasing things almost directly with bitcoins. It's definitely not the most convenient thing, but a step in the right direction.

Re: The Youngest Soldier
by

Does anyone know about Calvin Graham? , the youngest soldier who participated on a war , or also known the teenage hero.

A quick brief about Calvin Graham , Calvin was the youngest soldier who participated on war (world war 2) , Calvin wanted to join to the army , but he's underrated , he's only 16 and the must need age is 17 to 18 to participated , Calvin Graham act like a man , he tried and practice speaking deep, and he fake his age and participated on the war.

Calvin Graham received a bronze medal and a purple heart due to his braveness , while his fellow crewmen we're off celebrating , his mother called and informed to him , that Calvin graham the decorated veteran was in fact , barely a teenager.

The Navy quickly jump into the action , stripping graham medals , and holding him on prison , and after president jimmy carter elected in 1976 , graham wrote on the white house.

1978 the year where graham got his wish , although he face a lot of risks and hardships in life , but then again he never gives up , and mister graham died on 1992.

If you want to read more or to know more about Calvin graham feel free to look , the link is down below ,

I hope you like it guys , I'm glad hearing your thoughts , and opinion , and don't be shy to share or add some facts about the topic,
all comments are appreciated.
I'm sure he was a great soldier. I hope he really did good things for his country. However, I don't think he is in any way the youngest soldier ever, unfortunately. There are child soldiers even today in many countries in the world. You can check this Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_use_of_children. It says that some people in Bolivia have been forcibly conscripted as young as 14 years old. In Africa, many militants groups kill parents and force the children to be soldiers. I know this happened in Cambodia too. Many children were much younger there.

I think that for the time being this is not entirely profitable due to the sharp fluctuations of the crypto market.
But this idea is very interesting! Very soon we will be able to pay crypto currency in a variety of online stores.
Sorry, if this is a stupid question. I don't know what much about crypto. Couldn't you just always pay the Bitcoin equivalent of a dollar amount? What would be the downside of doing that? You would always have to convert, but that could be done automatically in an app, for example.

Hey brother this kind of topic must be in the off topic. I admire your faith and I am also your fellow Bible believer, so the next time you post like this just put it in the off topic otherwise our image would be spammer creating a post on a thread which I'd not actually to be there.

I'm thinking the same thing. How can this even be a thread? Just call it salvation and post three scriptures? Do you understand what a forum is all about? Forums are all about discussion. You could as least ask some questions or state an opinion. I don't think posting scripture randomly on forums is going to get you any closer to God. I'm even more surprised that so many people just started jumping right in, as if this was normal behavior.

It seems like it's not such a far out idea. There are many ways to use cryptocurrencies to buy basic needs. I just did a quick search and found many options. There are sites that will let you buy gift cards with crypto. I found one that sells Walmart gift cards. I'm sure you could buy all your basic needs at Walmart. In terms of buying things directly with crypto. I think it is becoming more and more feasible. You basically just need somebody that's willing to accept it. I found an app that lets you order groceries with bitcoins. It will just get more and more possible as time goes on.

Re: 19TH CENTURY POLITICS ..
by
Diego_Davis
on 30/07/2018, 12:43:45 UTC
It's the 21st century we have 19th century politics  Cry.

What is 19th century politics? IT'S we the politicians deserve more than anyone else..
And we the people din't hire you to think like this in the 21st century ..
After all you do get paid over 100k a year to do a job and still want more..

NOW GET OUT YOU SCUM BAGS..
You are worse than a house burglar  Wink Angry..
Why do most people think that once upon a time everything was better? Previously, people were kinder and more decent, politicians are more cunning and nobler. It seems to me that people very little and slowly change and most often change in a negative direction.
We say that we have bad politicians. We very easily condemn not only politicians, but also our colleagues and acquaintances. We blame that we do not live the way we want everyone around us, but not ourselves.
Let's leave politicians in the 19th and 21st century in peace and start thinking about ourselves more.
I think popcorn1 was actually saying that politicians are stuck in the past themselves, that it was bad in the 19th century and that's still what we have now. I agree though, that there's not much use in comparing what we have now to what we used to have. Even if something is a little bit better than it used to be, that doesn't mean that we should stop trying to improve.

Luckily, I think there are some good example of politicians these days that are breaking free of old traditions. During the World Cup, I heard a bit about the Croatian president. She seems to be a very simple person making good decisions in government. She flies economy class and sits with all the other Croatian football fans. I believe I read that she cut politicians salaries and sold many luxury vehicles that the government owned.

Re: why is Africa not fighting cyber- fraud?
by

Africa is a continent with over 50 countries. That is like saying, why don't South Americans stop drug cartels? "Africa" isn't a specific government. There is a good chance that some of the governments don't even know about the cyber-fraud that's happening in their country. I'm sure that some of the countries are fighting against it. If you take Nigeria, for example, they have over 190 million people. I'm sure, if there is a real fight with cyber-fraud, it's extremely hard to keep on top of with so many people. As far as I understand, the biggest problem is that it is very hard to track where the cyber-fraud is coming from.

Re: Would you live on a seastead?
by
Diego_Davis
on 26/07/2018, 18:39:20 UTC
I've read about this before. I think that one of the main ideas is that you can basically start your own society independent of other governments' rules. I think they are just starting in conjunction with other countries because you need a base to start building from. I've read that one application of seasteading could be to have skilled programmer from India, for example, like off the coast of California. It could be easier than having them immigrate to the United States. They could just work from the water and people from the "mainland" could come and visit them as needed. They also probably wouldn't have to pay taxes, which sounds pretty nice. I think I would give it a shot.
