What coins do you think have the potential to be huge, but have very little attention from the cryptocommunity as a whole?

Hands down, Peercoin.

One of the most innovative and unique altcoins out there.

Is the volume of Nubits brought likely to increase Peercoin's price? I don't really understand how Nubits relationship to Peercoin manages to keep its price stable.

NuBits was created to solve the volatility problem found in cryptocurrencies.

The project's objective was to pegged (fixed rate) NuBits to the dollar so that one nubits will always equal to one dollar.

This made NuBits the first decentralized stable cryptocoin.

This was made possible with the relationship of NuBits and NuShares.

NuShare holders vote to make sure the price of NuBits is fixed at a rate of one dollar.

While NuShare holders are paid in dividends with Peercoins.

Which makes Peercoin the very first cryptocurrency to be used by another cryptocommunity as a backbone currency.

I have been into bitcoin for years now, But I would like to try my hand at Altcoins.

Idealy I would like a PoS/PoW that has not yet completed PoW phase. I am however struggling to find this, I think found some crapcoins but I would like a coin of the future.

I ma even happy with a coin that will be there about in the next few years.

I currently have 1x AMD R9 290 (so not alot of hash power) thats why I would like to go for a newish coin.

Is there any coins anyone would suggest.

Thanks in advance

This sounds like Peercoin to me.

The first hybrid cryptocoin to use both Proof of Work to distribute the coin and Proof of Stake to secure the network.

It is also the first cryptocoin to use the Proof of Stake concept.

It seems like Peercoin is undervalued in this forum.

Unlike other altcoins, it is one of the oldest and one of the most unique.

Peercoin is the first hybrid cryptocoin.

Also, it is the first cryptocoin to use the Proof of Stake concept.

Furthermore, it was not pre-mined or pre-sold.

It was fairly distributed with the use of Proof of Work.

First of all, I agree with the sentiments of most posters here. Do not be swayed by other people's opinion. Also, do a lot of research before investing. Now, let me answer your question.

Peercoin is one of the oldest altcoins out there. It was released on August 2012. This shows that the protocol is secured and stable.

Also, it is one of the most unique altcoins. It uses a hybrid system --- Proof of Work for coin distribution and Proof of Stake for network security. The developer decided to use Proof of Work to fairly distribute the coins. Since Peercoin was not pre-mined or pre-sold.

Furthermore, it is one of the most innovative altcoins. It is the first cryptocoin to use the Proof of Stake concept. Since then, other altcoins have used this concept --- the two most popular ones being Nxt and Paycoin.

To learn more about Peercoin feel free to visit their website or their forum. Also, if you are a visual learner, I suggest watching this video --- LINK. Good luck on finding the right altcoin for you!
