Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!

thats the key, i will only trust in bitcoin, i mean that every trade i made, i made it to get more bitcoins, in the end, is just to get more bitcoins, so to reply you about the main question, is to yes, go into eth if there is a good Price , not like now atm that i'm writing this, since i really think is overvalued now.

Bitcoin will only go properly mainstream if ......

if people involved on bitcoin start to work together would be a great way to start, "fighting" between devs are not a good direction... and another important thing that people involved on bitcoin should never loose is the initial spirit about why bitcoin was created.

I´m using the same App, i can confirm that Works pretty good, really useful to have the widget on your screen.
dont forget to use a currency conversion too, if you like to check the Price in your own currency.

That's just how it tends to go with Open Source projects, although I had expected that there would be a bit more progress, like you mentioned.
Especially since they got a pretty sizeable investment last year, I think.

that's exactly what lot of people are waiting for, let's hope that this long waiting are just to made things better, i dont want to see this project abandoned like some products that promise a lot and after some time waiting, they stop.

BITCOINS Miracle! Any One Had Such Experience?

I received some spam, i mean some satoshis some time ago when someone was trying to spam the blockchain, but nothing compare to your amount.

Sounds like someone made a mistake with their transaction.

I'd return it if I were you, I know if I did something similar I would want the same treatment.

Yep, that's exactly what i was thinking to, someone must be asking to himself where the hell go his bitcoins Tongue

Passive income is a must in today's community.

I must agree with you 100% about it, obviously passive income have been good always, but in the current times, it is needed more than never.

The problem is that people tend to cheat others to obtain it, like cloud mining etc etc.

What the &%&%$!!!!!! 10k? cmon i loose just few satoshis with some cloud mining ( yes scams.. ) and i was around 1 week thinking on it... 10k omg i dont want to imagine it.

Btw if someone lost 10k maybe is becuse he have more than 10k, so maybe that "lost" is not as big as it could be for us... ( i mean people like me with low ammount of satoshis xD )

Re: Mining coins save or sell it?
by

on 27/11/2015, 12:09:23 UTC
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

The risk with alt coins is always high, there is lot of scams out there, thats one of the main problems about mining, you can do some research first about who is the dev or who are involved on the team before start mining, maybe this way you can have a better knowledge about if you are wasting or not your time.

I think it is a smart move.

Not only do they get a chance to incorporate a new technology, they also attract tech talent to their company.

And not only this, with those "news" they start to spread his word, so they have free publicity.

As you said i think this is a great and smart move from them, seriously, how many like them we will se in next months?, anyway, this are good news for the bitcoin world, at least IMHO.

I stopped investing in cloudmining after my losses in Hashprofit. My advice is just don't do it. The risk that the run away with your money is 110%.

Thats the problem, people never learn the leason untill they got scammed, and im not talking about you, im talking from my own experience.

The first thing you should do is to go there -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0 and check if there is some info related to them. Btw that site that you mention looks really suspicios for me.

I must say that i start to care about this exchange when they start to charge that stupid fee, is something like a joke... at that time i start to think that something is not going well with them.

As i said in another thread, i will not come back to them yet, im reading lot of bad things on his trollbox everydays and here in this forum, i will not risk my money until i feel the calm again.

i never had problems with cryptsy besides slow withdraws all was ok, at least for me; I withdraw all my money from them some weeks ago, i dont know if you can consider them safe now, but from what im reading at his trollbox and here with some new threads, i will not come back yet to that exchange.

Lets w8 a little bit more to come back again...i am perhaps too wary, but i dont want to risk anything.

edited: his withdraws are just something like a joke.... thats another bad point for them...

Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ?
by

negatives
if it wasnt for altcoins, some premined scam coins would not exist, stealing real bitcoin value and leaving users holding a bag of s**t coins

I really think that this is the only one problem about altcoins at the moment. From my point of view alts are not so bad, they are giving something like more liquidity to the ecosystem ( well you know... at least few of them ), besides that, i dont see any problems related with alt coins.

Re: [2015-11-24] Circle, BitPay and Bitreserve to pivot away from BTC
by
Digit-0
on 24/11/2015, 21:48:05 UTC
The only problem is that not a single one of those companies said they were distancing themselves from bitcoin. Though one person said they consider bitcoin just their first use case. Another new coin news website trying to get hits by posting shocking titles.

Im with you, maybe that's exactly what they want, like other sites are doing everyday, maybe is time to start to blacklist all those sites who are only publishing all those news just to attract users Wink

Anyway, i'm pretty sure that all those companies will regret this decision soon...

I was the one who withdraw his money from cryptsy 1 week ago. To tell you the truth i was thinking that cryptsy was one of the best exchanges out there, but after see how is going on the last few weeks i decide to do that.

I dont know what will happen with cryptsy, but i can see everyday how people complain about it, thats not a good signs...

Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter?
by
Digit-0
on 23/11/2015, 19:29:33 UTC
Ofc that its matter, bitcoin needs a value, i must agree with some users that said that this is a task from speculators, well is some cases yes, thats true.

Btw i think the correct question should be: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter NOW?

my answer will be, yes, but not as much as in 5-10 years Tongue
