I'm not familiar with Blazed, let's stick with someone on the list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0 OgNasty is one I have done business with recently. You'll need to cover any fees, I am already bottomed out on price.
While your choice of escrow is probably fine, you can see from the following page that the list you refer to is not something you can fully trust.
That's actually the page I checked before posting the list, they thanked the OP for updating the list just under a month ago. I am still open to suggestions if you have someone better to recommend with references.

I can reassemble and use the retail boxes but paypal is an issue. BTC with escro is probably the safest for both of us.

I just inventoried all the TDBD boxes. I think I have complete sets of everything but the power splitters and card edge/port protectors. Most of the power splitters were reused for server power breakout cables but I still have about 15 in tact.
Here's what I have for the TDBD cards, there is 10 items in each pile.
Here's the parts that were removed from each card for proof of the fans being in new condition which you generally don't get with used cards. Most of the bezels still have plastic protectors installed. I am still running the cards sporadically so I can either include the parts or reinstall them which will take a day or two.
Checks are a bit too risky for me, we could do a wire transfer if that helps you out. Price wise we are fairly close so let's split it at $1300.

WTS 29 R9-280x US only (SOLD)
by

on 27/12/2014, 05:48:52 UTC
I am getting tired of chasing altcoins so it's time to sell off some of my farm.
Up for sale is 29 XFX R9-280x cards, 10 TDBD SOLD and 19 TDFD SOLD. For now I am only looking to sell in bulk to the US only, groups of 5 cards or more and I will cover UPS ground with insurance to the lower 48. Price is $140 for 9 or less cards, $135 for 10+ cards in BTC, if you want escro, you cover the fees.
These cards were stripped of their plastic shrouds and cooled in a custom enclosure with it's own fans. 5 sets of fans were used for about a month, the rest of the fans were removed before the cards went into service. I still have all of the plastic shrouds and stock fans which I can reassemble or ship separate if you want them but keep in mind reassembly will delay shipping slightly.
1.35 is still my top offer. In the end, it's still a used miner and 1.35 more than most of the other used prismas sold for. AM would pay for your shipping on the return which I am covering by sending a label. At least one of the boards are likely a gen 1 or 1.1 which are known to have issues then I am back in the same boat as you trying to get a replacement or refund with the added difficulty of not having purchased directly from CG or Canary.

Did you get the board with the missing cap replaced? What changed from when you could only get one board working at a time, were all the boards replaced? Anyways, in for 1.35, you keep the big controller and I send you a label.

For once I have some good news to post.
After a few PM's with Phasebird, he had me send another email to sale@bitquan.com on 12/14. I never did get a reply after that but the btc address I setup for this has funds as of 11 hours ago. It's not the new prisma I was originally promised but it's something and I am good with that.

Phasebird, I have sent multiple emails to sale@bitquan.com that have gone unanswered. My board was the one that died on November 10th and was shipped back directly to Hong Kong. Is there a different email address you would prefer to be contacted at or some other information you need validated. My prismas were purchased through CrazyGuy so he should be able to help validate my information if necessary.

Coming up on 24 hours since I sent a email to AM and just like the other countless times I have sent them emails there has been no reply.
For all of you praising AM, this is the third time compensation has been promised. The deal looks great and they have managed to make many of you think they are a great company standing behind their products and taking care of their customers but there is no follow through. Just a bunch of empty promises.

Re: Block Erupter Prisma Compensation and Buy-back Plan
I really wish people would read what's going on before praising AM. Many people have had issues, then when we try to contact AM for a solution we get silence or a promise that isn't kept.
Recap on my situation. Prismas arrived Nov 6 and caught fire Nov 10th in 75f weather. I was instructed to return the damaged boards keeping the good ones and that a new prisma would be sent as compensation. The damaged board was sent back and cleared HK customs Nov 18th. Nov 24th I finally get a reply from AM regarding my inquiry to them receiving my defective unit, they asked for a tracking number then went silent. Several emails and PM's later and I get a reply on Nov 29th that replacement boards not a prisma were shipped to CrazyGuy. Replacement board arrives Dec 6th, many emails and PM's later and this thread is the first response I have seen regarding compensation.
Good customer service requires communication. I will work with people and understand when things need to change but it needs to be communicated. Promising one thing then going silent for days and weeks especially with time sensitive equipment like this is not good customer service.

I just submitted my info for compensation to sale@bitquan.com again. I am still skeptical till I get a reply back or see something in my wallet.

And here we go again. Posting about how things will be better but still ignoring the existing issues and promises. Why are you still not responding to emails and PM's? Are you just hoping all the prisma users will forget about the compensation or the lack of communication and just fork over more money to buy new gear and hope that it will work better than what we already paid for?

Re: ASICMiner BE300S Samples Arrived, <0.2W/G Achieved at Board Level
I hope that AM sticks to just selling the chips and not making miners again. Amazing how bad the Prisma experience was...
It was a strategic mistake to switch to chips only, that's why AM started producing be200 based devices (tubes/prismas). You should expect miners and chips to be available with be300
+1. nobody knows better how to design a PCB than the guys who design the chips. Relying on 3rd party groups (technobit for example) to invest in prototype boards for multiple chip types simultaneously is less likely to get an ideal resulting design - ie the series-based design for voltage control, exactly what bitfury managed to do
You would think that but then you run into a company like AM that produced the prisma. Multiple people including myself have had one spontaneously burst into flame. Then AM has promised compensation they have not delivered. For myself they promised a new prisma for compensation on the burned up boards that I paid to ship back to Hong Kong from the US. Instead they shipped replacement boards leaving me to repair the damaged heatsink and pay for shipping from the distributor they shipped the new boards to. Then when they started acknowledging the other boards that have caught on fire or just don't work they promised to pay for return shipping to Hong Kong and to compensate for downtime. Now if you look in the thread where they posted that, there are no responses from AM. emails and PM's go unanswered and aside from a few boards they sent which didn't cover all the damaged ones there is no compensation either.

So what are the chances of the be200 users getting compensation and good boards before the be300 comes out?
Well just got word, AM did not fulfill their promise of an entire prisma for compensation. They just sent raw boards to CrazyGuy (who has gone above and beyond to help everyone out).
So now I have nearly a month of downtime/reduced hashrate, more time to be spent cleaning up a heatsink with fire damage, bunch of money spent shipping to Hong Kong and from CrazyGuy to myelf and a broken promise for compensation. This is working out well.
Curious to see how this turns out. I covered return shipping directly to Hong Kong for the damaged board for which I was promised an entire prisma as compensation. That in itself was a gamble with paying for shipping, downtime for the fire, reduced hash rate while waiting for a replacement and having less time to mine at current diff. If it was just boards shipped to crazyguy I am going to have more down time trying to clean up the damaged heatsink so it can be reused and even if I get an entire prisma's worth of boards it's kinda hard to run them without a heatsink.
