If Tesla stockprice rises the coming days, this might motivate companies still hesitant to invest in BTC to join, accelerating things even more.

If you have i.e. a RPI and some LVT it is always nice to have it online and staking, sametime strengthening the Levitate network.
PM me if you have a node up, but are missing LVT.

Min. stake age      168 hours
Max. stake age      Unlimited

Your stake weight is missing above, and netstakeweight is extremely high at the moment.

There are some Levitate nodes up again, but as Levitate is now in its staking phase,
it needs wallets with balances connected, in order to generate new blocks.
If you have a wallet with LVT balance, you can run it and unlock it for staking to see if the chain gets going again.

Could you please advice; what would be a very userfriendly and safe Android app to be used by the less tech savvy
to buy some BTC and keep them in their own wallet on their phone?

Friends and family like to buy a bit of BTC too, but exchanges and alike are way too complicated for them.
They just want to click & buy, have secure local storage and be able to sell, no trading functionalities required.

Does anyone know if these kind of "Mobile BTC Wallet for Dummies" exist?

Don't believe this has anything to do with weak hands. This is pure manipulation. They need to be able to downplay and smudge BTC in the MSM tomorrow, in order to prevent the general public from buying BTC in masses which would skyrocket the price and undermine conventional currency.

What happens if everyone would remove all their BTC selling orders for the next 48hrs?

Anyone else having the same problem on bittrex when trying to buy or sell?
It results in "Order could not be placed. Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later."

Hello Levitate (LVT) Supporters,

My apologies for the long radiosilence. I hope you are all doing well.
Unfortunately The Levitate Team fell apart about 4 months ago.
The Levitate website, blockexplorer and all promotional websites have gone offline.

During these last months I didn't have the time to try to revive Levitate,
but during the last weeks there was,
and today I managed to get the Levitate blockchain up and running again.

I will continue to support Levitate personally as it is a nice project.
Maybe if there are more of us willing to support Levitate out of enthusiasm,
we can revive Levitate (LVT) as a community driven project.
You are welcome to share your thoughts and insights,
cheers.

It seems the blockchain of Levitate (LVT) is currently stuck and the guys of the team who maintained the blockchain, have abandoned ship.
I am very sorry about that and have no solution for it at this moment.
Thank you for your support so far and best wishes for 2020, hopefully it will be a better cryptoyear for all.

The Levitate Team unfortunately did not manage to build an exchange that meets security and quality requirements.
Together with the increasing regulation imposed on exchanges which will be effective in 2020, this led to the decision to stop efforts building an exchange.

Hi Jason, could you PM me a screenshot of your wallet? It should have a purple/blue background and current block is 4036. We know you are a Levitate (LVT) holder and supporter, so please do not worry if you are still on the old wallet, we will get you up and running with the new version.

Yes, Levitate (LVT) is now on a whole new blockchain. There was a swap window from old to new LVT of about 10 weeks which closed end of August. You must have been offline a while, enjoying extended holidays? As I am aware you owned old LVT, please send me a PM with your new LVT wallet address once you have your new LVT wallet synched (current number of blocks is 3809) and you will receive your new LVT.

SamiAhmed, please do not accuse The Levitate Team of lying, as we are not.
Our Discord login on the exchange Discord channel was and still is banned by the exchange itself.
We were bluntly cut off from communication and kicked out of their developers channel.
So don't come up here saying we did or do not contact them.

What apparently caused the problem was the exchange installing the new wallet but forgetting to direct it to a new data directory and different port while they still had the old wallet running too.
It caused the old wallet to crash and the new wallet not to work. Then they restored the old wallet temporarily so people could withdraw, and then they closed the old one and did not yet install the new one.
There were and there are no issues with the LVT wallets.

Thank you for your contribution. However, you are making wrong assumptions.
Levitate (LVT) was the first using LVT as abbrevation.
It was listed on Start-Exchange which unfortunately went down.
Next Levitate (LVT) was listed on Altmarkets.io where it was unjustly delisted after the swap eventhough they took a 2nd listing fee.
LVT was traded over a year with highs and lows between 90 to 2 SAT approximately.
The Levitate Team will not pay anymore fees to exchanges who are clearly out there only for making a quick and big buck.
We can do better ourselves.
