Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :->

I watched a Youtube video last night about the food merchants in some of the markets in Wuhan and I noticed that most of them are using electronic payment methods to pay for goods. < Wechat Pay >

Ok, it is not Bitcoin, but if more merchants using Fiat currency can switch over to Bitcoin, you might see less infections. The reason for this is simple, because the Corona virus can be transmitted from person to person via cash being used on a daily basis.

People can also do online payments with Bitcoin to avoid handling physical cash and thus avoiding infection. It can also prevent people from being infected from a host of other viruses and bacteria that can survive for days on physical coins and notes.

This is just one more reason for people to move away from physical payment methods and shifting to a cash-less financial system in the future.  Wink

Following your logic, the world should become like the world in the movie Demolition Man. There, because of the fear of disease, people refused to shake hands, use paper money and etc. I agree that online payments are the future, but your reason why people should refuse fiat money looks ridiculous

Re: CHINA NEED PRAYERS AND NOT BITCOIN

Since some people start to talk about Donate China over Corona Virus, while the fact is that China is the Second Rich Country in the world for that they just Need Prayers to overcome Coronavirus outbreak and treat well people I think in terms of the money they can Afford

May God help china

I have bad news to you... god doesn't exist, it was created by humans to justify their existence. So, if there is no god, then no one can help china now.

On the other hand, we have bitcoin, and bitcoin is real, but since you can't bribe coronavirus with money, then bitcoin can't solve the coronavirus problem.

The last option is science. We only have to find an effective cure to fix the problem.

Despite the fact that China is an incredibly developed country, its science is not yet able to completely overcome the virus. I hope the Chinese will attract specialists from other countries, because this prank called coronavirus is out of control

The interface of OWNR wallet is excellent, but I want to notice that the KYC process did not get more advanced. Why don't you add a bank statement to the proof of address point? Not everybody has a correspondence, let alone utility bill at the place of registration

We've actually updated it some time ago and expanded the list of documents we accept as PoA, feel free to check

Well okay, but what about comfort login to the account? In the mobile app this is not very visible

Promote your Bitcoin seminars on YouTube. I think that it will be interesting and useful. Or don't you want to reveal your identity?

Yea, I love privacy a lot. On the other hand, I'm desperate to let people know who's behind the Chris Barth name because I'm sure majority will be in awe.

It's your choice. In any case, well done! Maybe buy yourself a superhero mask, I saw some bloggers doing it Wink

But only holding half BTC, should i go more for BTC?
Holding more bitcoin because why not? Yeah?
What's stopping you? If you think you most afford it then go. Perhaps by now you knew the risk and consequences along with it? If not, then you should.

On the contrary, don't believe in everything you hear and read in social media. Not because this is the trend then you'll just impulsively invest without any knowledge. Invest when you can and ready.

Regards.

Unfortunately, the opinions of influential guys are the main for people who live in modern trends. He must understand the cost of defeat and only then he probably will understand the Bitcoin, risks, value, profit, etc.

I have been using the OWNR wallet for several months and everything is fine, but I would like to pay attention to a bit complicated process of buying crypto. After buying coins in 'account', it is not convenient to log in to the account again, I should go to the 'buy' section on the website... too long. Intuitively I`m looking for a button 'Log in' but it doesn`t exist there. It is especially difficult to log in using a mobile app. When I used it the first time I had to ask the support team for help.

This will be considered on the new, revamped website we are about to launch

Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins.

Hey
I have always made a point to stay away from the news related to this self obsessed fake creator of bitcoins , and even if he is the creator I don't think I would see him in a better light.
So he is claiming that bitcoins have a problem with their code (dude which software doesn't?) And that today will be the last day for bitcoins to exist, after this it will Plummet , considering he is trying to reduce the competition for the BSV , the statements are exceptionally hilarious , first of all , if there was any problem with the code trust me , he would have exposed it himself , if he knows the problem , he is not the kind of person to shut up about it .
What do you guys this of this ?
I think someone must punch Craig Wright in his dumb, brazen and deceitful face. II cant listen to it anymore, just do not watch the news about him, he just tries to pay attention to his miserable person

Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies?
by
Diirtmaan
on 03/01/2020, 21:48:40 UTC
Money is already going digital. Many central banks and governments are creating their own digital versions of FIAT, PRIMARILY to keep tabs on everyone and easier to tax as well. It's up to us through the lay people to want to convert our economic prowess to decentralized crypto and to want to use and adapt to it, which will make the real difference. We need to educate our friends and family on growing Bitcoin and other good crypto reserves. If we all got 5 people each year to say put 2% of their money into crypto, we would moon in 5 years from now. Unfortunately, too many of us are lazy and not motivated enough to make this happen, that's our drawback and others are just interested to rip the rest of us off with scams.

You talk very well about what needs to be done and why this is not happening. I agree that many people are not interested in developing and popularizing of Bitcoin because of their personal causes and laziness. 10 years have passed but crypto has progressed poorly compared to what result we could achieve if we were not lazy

You know I think with the world war rumors spurring up , they will soon be very important commodity , because in the time of war and famine one should understand the normal governmental body is set to collapse , so I think soon enough the bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are going to be super important and the way it is maintaining it's value above 7k shows that in the future we can see a pretty big move .

But I would not want Bitcoin to grow precisely because of the cause of the war. In fact, it is very sad to see, because such conflicts are not needed by the civilized world. I would like to see the growth of Bitcoin and its dominance over fiat money because of its features and not due to the fact that during a possible war, a coin can become a means of survive

Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?
by
Diirtmaan
on 24/12/2019, 11:26:42 UTC
I don't think that Bitcoin can be replaced with any altcoin because it's really the first and the strongest crypto currency so far. I don't see any potential in any other coin to replace Bitcoin in the next few years at least. Some people were saying before that ethereum can replace Bitcoin in some point in the future but I don't think that's gonna happen.

At the moment, none of the existing altcoins can replace Bitcoin. This can happen if something happens to the Bitcoin ecosystem, but so far everything is working well.

Re: Now YouTube is flagging Bitcoin and crypto-related videos?
by
Diirtmaan
on 24/12/2019, 11:24:27 UTC
Some prominent cryptocurrency channels on Youtube have seen their videos removed today. It’s unclear how many major channels have been affected thus far, but three have been confirmed.

Could YouTube be cracking down on cryptocurrency-related videos? According to recent reports, such an operation is going on as we speak. Three prominent YouTube channels specializing in cryptocurrencies report that they have been subject to content-flagging today. The move was completely unexpected and has left many in the blockchain space wondering if this may be the beginning of a bigger operation.

Source link here

Should I move away from YouTube?

I just don't know what to believe, but I honestly think that YouTube isn't gonna doing this by surprise. If they do flag YouTube videos about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, they should have updated their terms and conditions, and their rules about uploading content.

In the article, it also mentioned that there are a group of mass flaggers who might be behind this mess, especially for top crypto influencers out there. There are even cases that after appealing, YouTube reinstated their accounts because of false flagging.

What does this mean for crypto YouTubers like me? If I decide to move to another video sharing platform, I would prefer decentralised and censor-free type of platform.

What are your reactions to this one guys?

Honestly, there is no reason for YouTube to remove cryptocurrency content. Perhaps this is an accident, I don’t know for sure

Re: Why Bitcoin prices dropped so low a few days ago؟
by
Diirtmaan
on 24/12/2019, 10:18:20 UTC
It seems to me that during the holidays, traders sell part of their money from exchanges and wallets to relax. This contributes to lower prices, and after a while, traders will buy coins more profitably and a new race will begin. Every year during the New Year and Christmas, the story repeats itself.

Re: What do you think of the current status of Bitcoin?
by
Diirtmaan
on 11/12/2019, 19:27:33 UTC
Aside the price of bitcoin which many keep on ranting about as they can't hold their balls any longer everything is going on fine with me. Rightly as you said, the exposure of bitcoin is getting larger and larger hence many people are getting to know about it more than they did a decade ago. What is really stifling the growth of bitcoin is the bad breath from governments and strict rules and regulations concerning it. On general i think we are doing good and 2020 will definitely be a good year for all bitcoin holders.

You speak great. I do not pay attention to haters, I also see the popularization of bitcoin and I am sure that 2020 will be very productive for the coin

Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme

I found this quality topic on twitter and it all caught my attention. I have seen that fiat is the currency of the Government and Bitcoin is the currency of the people, Can the Government Crash? if so the people cannot Crash neither, because so many people are not making good business from the fiat than in bitcoin, which have provided so much job opportunities for users who are online. Fiat will be replaced soon by bitcoin.

Share your thoughts

The main problem of replacing fiat with Bitcoin is the resistance of the government. Just understand that Bitcoin does not give power since it can not be controlled like fiat. That's why it's so hard to switch to digital money.
