Yes, of course there will be a dump but not yet. First , we probably won't reach 600$ (not anytime before the halving) and same goes for the dump , It will happen after the halving block reward when the price may reach 1000$ if not more ... then the PANIC starts and everyone sells.

They're either typing random words to earn money for their sigs, or don't understand that if they believe the price would be stable at $800, it would still vastly overshoot that amount at peak to something like $1000+. If you know anything about Bitcoin and the media, you would know once this occurs, Bitcoin will be on TV 24 hours a day and it's going to keep going and go hard.
I know enough rich people in Bitcoin that trust me to orchestrate a short squeeze to over $1000 myself, which is why you're going to continue to see the price increase. We can force it to do so whether you want it to or not. $1000 is a critical target that will be attempted because it opens the door for way way higher once you break ATH.

Yea I feel as though once $680 area of resistance is broken, any area between that and the ATH make no sense to dump on, but I still have my doubts, the past bear market sucked, and feel we may fall short of the old ATH this summer, but blow past it later this year into 2017. We have such a tiny market cap, when some bigger hands get in it will be crazy.

I will divest gradually to usd if the bitcoin price bubbles, only to increase my btc holdings in the future. Probably pocket a small profit in usd to put a down payment on a house, then put the rest back in btc for the next run up(s) in the coming years. Hopefully it will get to the point I don't have to and can buy real estate, land, etc.. Without having to switch. I realize that's possible now in some places, but I'd like to see it everywhere.

Used to spend a lot of my childhood summer going from London to Toronto and watching the Jay's play. Best hot dogs there.
Well, its all a question of degree. I like to view is as demand/supply mechanics, so if that many people hadn't factored in the halving yet, then demand wouldn't have surged. However, it seems like the halvening has become a much more prominent topic, so many more people would 'price' it in.
That being said, I do think that the price will still increase as the halvening draws closer, so yeah. I'd like the hear different opinions though, as I'd think i'm still fairly new to this bitcoin space.

The price is increasing slowly now. But after the halving, the price will increase even more. That happened in the last halving.

Bitfinex BTC/USD reached 230 today. 
As much as I hope that the price will rise to such a level again, after seeing the response to 230 I believe that the price will most probably stay around current levels of ~225 USD for some time.

I'm with you rOach. I'm glad somebody else gets it. Don't waste your time on the shills and trolls, they are here occupying the board for a reason; to instill fear and doubt into possible future buyers who look up information about bitcoin on the internet. They spread misinformation and use the exact tactics that someone who would want to take down an entity like bitcoin would do. They will be here until bitcoin hits it "mainstream", and yet, they will probably still be here then, too.
