Re: Bull Run Signals

Now market is much more stable than the previous year. I can't see any sign of bull run. Btc and other Alt coins like Eth's price aren't fluctuating like before. This is the positive of the crypto world. Too much liquid currencies can't sustain in the long run.

you can find that the price volatility of BTC is lower than Amazon stocks. It indicates something is going on before the next bull run.

Re: ETH worth buying now or wait?

Logic tells me that it is better to make the purchase now. The number of users is going up with every passing month. And another important thing to keep in mind is the block reward halving, which is supposed to occur in 2020 (it will be having an impact on the ETH prices, as ETH-BTC prices are closely linked).

The ETH has traded in a tight range for some time. It will break soon.

Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops
by

This should be a supply and demand problem affecting the bitcoin price, because there is and inflation in prize more customers with large quantity of Bitcoin will want to sell for profit and costumers buying are few because the inflation of prize,so the supply is now more than the demand.

I also think the recent rise is due to the Bitcoin Gold fork. People want to get some bitcoin Gold, so they bought some bitcoin. Now they got it, so they sell bitcoin. The price has dropped.

Bitcoin will be replaced by ethereum Smiley

That is funny.
I know ethereum is doing good but there is much it must go on for it to take over the position of bitcoin.
I got some ethereum and I cant even withdraw it as cash. That is one problem.
How about exchanges. They prefer bitcoin over ethereum when ot comes to buying altcoin or just simple USD.

What do you think of Bitcoin Cash? It has simple set up and it can do a hard fork to adopt SegWit if it is more advantages?

I hope definitely not. Mainly because of the fact that it took us so long to reach these price points. That being said, it doesn't hurt to cash out profits at these prices.

I have secured profits between $1000-$1010 which I am very happy with. If the price happens to tank heavily, I have a decent amount of fiat to buy back my coins.

I agree with that. It is better for the price to rise gradually.

Radeon 7790 0sol/s in perpetuity... not sure why?

It has only 1GB memory. You need a 2GB card to mine it. If you look at the memory  usage, it is about 1.6 GB.

Probably not in the next 10 years. Ethereum took 2 years to come out ,and its just a pile of crap, with all the hacks and scams going on there. (not to mention the hardforks).

Best candidates would be:

LTC = Which is a copycat, so probably not

NMC = Which doesnt really serve as currency

MONERO = Probably high chance, but it doesnt even have a GUI wallet yet, so better make that come out first.

Other than that, there is no viable competitor to bitcoin ,and probably wont be for the next 2 years, and to beat bitcoin...? That would take a lot more than that!

How about ZCash? It seems it is not a copycat of the bitcoin and it has strong development team at the moment.

The only thing that bitcoin cant offer is being anonymous transactions, as all  the deals will show off into the wallet, i dont see it as a problem but as an advantage, with this method you may know how much money you had spent, something with fiat we dont control or do know the ammount.

The bitcoin is not so anonymous. It is semi anonymous. The major anonyous coin is the Monero.

Re: [2016-09-26] Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Reaches All-time High
by
Diluman
on 26/09/2016, 07:40:34 UTC
Throughout the past seven years, the Bitcoin mining difficulty has gone through several highs and lows. Satoshi Nakamoto designed this protocol in such a way the difficulty would automatically adjust depending on the most recent network hashrate when a difficulty change is designed to go into effect.

To put this into perspective: fewer people mining on the network before a difficulty change will – usually – result in a negative difficulty adjustment. Doing so would attract more miners again, who help secure and decentralize the network. However, as the hashrate continues to increase, so will the difficulty, which explains why we are at a new all-time high right now.

It is the first time in over seven years the Bitcoin mining difficulty is this high. That is not entirely unexpected, given the fact the network hashrate has not gone down by much in recent months. In fact, one could say the past two months have been rather flat until a batch of new miners was added not too long ago.

When looking at things from an even wider perspective, it is not hard to see why the mining difficulty has been ramping up. The nine-month chart shows a clear incremental increase of hashrate every month, which will eventually push the difficulty higher than before. While we are currently at an all-time high difficulty, that record will be improved in the next few weeks, if this hashrate keeps on growing.

Despite the growing hashrate and mining difficulty, Bitcoin network blocks are still being generated within the same time window as before. The average block time is 9.7 minutes, with six blocks being found in the past 58.2 minutes – as of one hour ago. Looking over the year 2016 so far, the Bitcoin mining hashrate has more than doubled between December 31, 2015, and September 25, 2016.

I dont think it could ever happen in future that bitcoin being replaced by any other crypto-currency.As of now we see any other crypto-currency has no match with the bitcoin till now.Ethereum promised alot in the start and looking like a good compatitor of bitcoin but it is now too far away from bitcoin so i think bitcoin will rule the crypto-currency world.

There is always this possibility that someone will  take the seat of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency but no one can replace bitcoin in terms of what it has done to the financial and investment world.   Pioneer will always get the credit even if it become obsolete.  But the demise of bitcoin depends on the decision of those who have the authority over the changes and implementations of bitcoin.

ZCash could be the one to take the seat of the bitcoin or become a second coin as it offers the anonymity in transaction.

Well its a normal human nature that we always switch too the best option just like we switch from the faint money system to this vertual money system but i don't think i will leave bitcoin usage just from any altcoin because its priced crossed bitcoin price
There are definitely some "better" types of cryptocurrencies, or ones that have more features or extend upon the features offered by Bitcoin, but even though they are classed as "better" it doesn't really mean much if they can't get a following that is interested in keeping the crypto alive beyond speculation.

The price of Monero rose more than 120% in the last few days. It is a good coin with anonymity, It might replace bitcoin.

The only other crypto currency I can think of replacing the bitcoin is the Ethereum. Many bitcoiners are buying it.

I think  so. The Ethereum trading volume is even higher than the bitcoin at the moment. So people are interested in it.
Maybe ETH is raised their moment with higher volume and passing the BTC but, if you know the ending of ETH traders is come back into bitcoin when they wanna to exchange their ETH into fiat balance. Cool

Correct. Just trading it back and forth. Using ETH and BTC as a means of making more fiat. Small or large profit will be accepted as long there is. Seen one that does this and he always want to boast it in me.

I mine the Ethereum and then trade it against the bitcoin. After I get more bitcoin, I will withdraw from exchanges.

So far, bitcoin is the only major digital coin. The second coin is the Ethereum. If that survive the recent crisis, it could be big.

Any thing could happen in this world..this can be happen but right now i dont think this to happen in some years..bitcoin is way ahead than any other cryptocurrency...litecoin and ethereum are the 2nd and 3rd which are way behind bitcoin no competition...

The bitcoin can kill itself by the developer and the miners. Nothing else in the world can kill it. It is the internet of money.
