Hi Merratzz, probably I found the bug on mastermining.net.

The problem is that: I change the password but didn't got anything by email. I've been trying to repeat this procedure several times, with no result. No email arrived.
Could you please check the mechanism of "password remaining" and "email sending".

Thanks!

PS. Can't find any contact or support info on the website.

can I use old wallet address form fresh transactions?
by

on 21/12/2017, 13:21:58 UTC
I gave address to my partner about a year ago. Can he/she make transaction on this address?

Is it possible to generate several addresses for future (year or several years later) usage? Is there any limitation of lifespan for BTC addresses?

thanks Smiley

Does the miner display Accepted message when it
a) receive the data for computing the hash summ?
or
b) send the hash summ to the server and server accept it?

moved form here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=790323.msg9998530#msg9998530

I'm trying to run solo via the http://solo.ckpool.org/ but however just a tiny fraction of shares are accepted. Is it possible to increase prevetively the minimum difficultiy form my (miner) side? I see the +diff option was named above. However I can't fid any relevant information regarding this option. How can  I use it with my USER(i.e. BTC address) parameter?

You're posting in the support thread for the ckpool software. The solo ckpool thread is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.620

However the quick answer is with solo mining it doesn't matter how many shares you get accepted since you don't get paid for shares at all and you only get a reward if you solve a block. Don't worry about what diff it's using since it's just an indirect marker of how hard you're mining.

(there is mistake above, I mean ... _decrease_ prevetively the minimum difficultiy....)

Probably my explanation was not enough correct.  I'm using quite weak Avalon Nano. And Rejections looks like ... Rejected .... (Above target). All of them has relatively low difficulty (<10), but some shares are Accepted (very rare) and the difficulty of accepted shares is significantly higher (>1k). I just suspect that I need to inform pool that I have weak hardware and need less difficult blocks or more time for calculation (in the same way as it done in classical pools with worker minimum difficulty). Or my understanding of mechanism is wrong?

Another problem that Avalon Nano decreasing the speed in minutes to 0, as a workaround I need to restart it with the bash script periodically. So if the pool have any mechanism for difficulties adjustment, it doesn't work in my case as well Sad

Hi there!

this is the question to Technobit. Why you folks newer answer on messages posted via your website form. I've been trying 3 times. All of them was unsuccessfull. And this is only contact that clients can find on your website.

What the best method of communication for you? do you have any public email I (and other clients) can write to be sure that I'll get answer?

And my questions:
1. is it possible to pay via bank transfer?
2. can you provide invoice for the item?

Thank you.

The software they provide is terrible as well.
It literally has ads in it.  If you have any other miners running on your computer this software interferes as well.
Don't use it.

Hi,

I just recentyl purchased the Avalon Nano (anonced here couple of month ago https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=779612.msg8841428;topicseen#msg8841428). I have successfuly downloaded and compiled fresh version of bfgminer and run it. It works fine for couple of minutes, then it starts to get slower and finally stall at all. Restarting the bfgminer helps but for same couple of minutes.

I've got configuration here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon_nano#BFGMiner
here is a log (last half of that): http://pastebin.com/EQAj58HH
I'm on linux, if it have a sense.

The obvious solution -- to make the simple script that restart BFGMiner each 2 minutes, but it's doesn't looks good.

I'd be appreciate for any help.

PS cgminer just doesn't work at all. can't detect devices. I was trying several versions including lastone.

download GUI and driver from:
https://ehash.com/product/avalon-nano/

They haven't submitted a driver for Cgminer. Good luck.

PS I'm on linux (if it may concern...)
I have a similar issue but with Scrypt on multipools (Clevermining, in this case).  Nwools noted that it's a known issue with BFGminer that the hashrate will drop as the multipool switches blockchains.  I'm using a mix of Gridseed Orbs and a Blizzard.  I'm not sure if this has been fixed in version 5.0.

Are you using a multipool, Dimoza?  If yes, that might be issue.

actually, not. I use classical stratum "single" pool.
But... concerning to your issue, does your hashrate drops to 0 or just getting relatively lower? Cause mine drops to zero.
(and I was trying it on ver 5.0 as well, by the way)

Hi all,

I've got number of the Avalon Nano (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=779612.msg8841428;topicseen#msg8841428). I have successfuly downloaded and compiled fresh version of cgminer
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon_nano#Cgminer_for_Avalon_nano

but ir can't detect devices whatever i did. I was trying
several versions including lastone from here
https://github.com/Canaan-Creative/cgminer/tree/avalon-usb
with and without the "--with-system-libusb" option

Would be appreciate for help and hints.

PS. bfgminer detects devices just fine and start hashing, but there another problem... it stall in minutes and need to be restarted. So my hopes targeted to cgminer.

I'm *NIX user (if it may concern...)

thank you for hint, but
I don't use proprietary software. And don't reccomend to do so for anybody, especially who have a deal with cryptocurrecy.

I don't need GUI for my purposes Smiley

By the way, guys, why just don't use some sort of FTDI  USB-SPI converter instead of RPi?

There is a TI TXB0106 -based level translator I made to talk to A1s. Requires VCC from the MCU board for high voltage side to function and translate correctly. Also provides 1.8V for A1s data interface. The LDO on the left is TI LP3871-1.8V. The circuit is trivial.

I need a second one and it takes too much time to build on a protoboard. I'm routing a PCB, will post when ready.

Hi!

is it really necessary to have level translator for RPi connection? why nobody mention it before (or I miss something?)

Does anybody know whether Bitmine have any plans to reduce prices for Coincraft samples? Difficulty have risen dramatically since February and in the measure of price/watt ratio it looks like almost 0 profitability. Even in good market prognosis.

NB. I remember here was somebody form Bitmine co-owners?

How is it going with testing of last PCB version for 55nm Avalon?
Is anybody have assembled K16 Gen.2 version?

DHL called me like 2 hours ago, that the PCBs are in the country. Now the package has to go through the customs, so I'm expecting them delivered at the beginning of the next week.

good news! looking forward...
