that's not bad for doing nothing, in my book! - if my math is correct (and there weren't any changes to the difficulty of mining ETH) - if all stayed the same as it is now, I'll mine 87 ETH in a year... lol

Hello all, I'm a super newby here that just figured out how to use my GTX 970 to mine Ethereum. I'm currently running (past 24 hours) Ethereum Wallet and Claymore 9.6. I have a series of questions I'd really like help with...

1- I have geth (not currently running) but I read somewhere that I don't need to use it... is that true?
2- The screenshot shows what I have going on - is it actually mining the pool? I tried looking up my miner but I get a response that my miner is either Inactive or I don't have eth_submithashrate. What do I do?

Have I just wasted 24 hours of time? Thank you for any help you can provide me!

Guys, a newby here... I managed to get my GTX970 working but I get 1 of 2 errors...  I either get ETH: Share rejected! ETH: Too many rejects from pool, disconnect... ETH: - connection in 20 sec...
or I get Miner timed out after 5 GPU0 t=57C fan=0%

Am I connecting to the correct pool? here's my config...  [ EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://us2.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal *wallet adr.miner* -epsw x ]

I removed the "http://" from the config and I'm mining at 15.137!!! Awesome!!
