Check your spam folder. It is known that forum emails tend to always get caught by spam filters. If that doesn't work then try to list the forum as a safe domain in your email settingsTheymos claims that the Email system is working just fine and that the problem is on my end...

I've tried asking theymos many times, I never get a response.
My hope is that since my main account has a link to my OTC profile, and I can auth through that, that I could use that as proof of account ownership

Okay, so long story short I forgot the password to my primary account Fiyasko, needless to say I'd like to regain access to it, theymos seems to be ignoring me, the email system that sends recovery letters Does Not Work with accounts that have been renamed (or perhaps for some stupid reason just my account) It works just fine for others.
"why not just use the seceret question?" Because I set it way back when I thought bitcoin was going to be some stupid ponzi fad instead of the amazing global endeavour it is now

you say it was "gently used for around half a year" Dude... Mining bitcoins is some of the most intense gpu work i've seen in awhile...
And considering that you were mining on the cards , That would imply 24hr running time right?
Soooo not "gently" used, Pegging the GPU cores to 98-100% for half a year is some heavy usage on the cards.

As I have nearly no knowledge of graphics cards and what to buy next i'm seeking your advice's.
My broken graphics card is a nvidia geforce 8800 gts pcie card. It mined ca. 20 Mh/s
I have no preferences towards nvidia or ati as so.
My current buget allows me to spend 134,44 EUR on a graphics card. It should also be used to gaming.
Now my preferred miner application is cgminer so perhaps an ati graphics card would be the way to go.
My definition of relaxed miner. I let my pc mine when I'm not useing it.
As said, I have no idea of the current graphics cards and whats good and whats bad,
so what would you suggest.

CGminer has ZERO issues with "i want to mine while playing games at FULL fps asif im not mining"
With BattleField 3 running at about 40-60FPS, My GPU's only take about 60-78% load, ANNOYING.....
Since i want More frames, or Higher graphics...
But alas i could not get it to be any more optimal than what i have.
I run my duo 6870's with Intensity 2, And with BattleField 3 Running, I get 40-58fps,
