Re: Can anyone help me with my Z270-P motherboard problem?

Just in case anyone else stumbles along this thread. I did fix my problem. So, I had did the 4g enabled before along with the adjusting the generation of the PCI-E slots etc. The issue is that with 4G enabled the on board video does not work which I did not see mentioned anywhere and the only video cards output video. I simply had the board connected because my cable did not reach to the cards in my setup but when I tried it like that it worked and I now have all 4 successfully recognized by the system.

Thanks for everyone's help!

Yes costs me also a lot of time to find out, you need to put monitor on 1st video card and dissable onboard graphics, than it works Smiley

Thank you for your answers

Yes welcome to the world of miners!

I started my journey into mining less than a year now. I pretty much started from not knowing much at all. But ive picked up alot of knowledge and experience since the day i started.

At the moment you have a very broad question. Everything depends on what you want to mine, what hardware is available to you, your local price for hardware, electricity cost for you, shipping vat or import taxes?

You definitely will need to do your due diligence, i faced alot of challenges starting up my mining facility  and i had still encountered issues.

If you would like to speak directly, i can offer some advice and shipping logistic questions. Feel free to pm me.
Happy mining!! Just try to enjoy the process and it will eventually pay off.

Many thnx for your advice man.  I will think about ASICs hope to  earn  good.  What is your advice ??  which  one is good atm?

The funny thing is that i know this pic from a youtube vid wich is 2 months old and this guy selling asic miners. If you put his name in google.... My honest advice is to not buy from not trusted sides, to many scams are there outside. Also the time from Asics passing buy for small private miners, not profitable anymore, zero resell falue... Best is to start small with some gpus, see if you like it and if not you have a new home pc or you can easly resell it or send it back to amazon within 30 days...  Grin Grin

Is it normal that hashrate per card decrease with more GPUs attached to single MB ?
I have 3 systems for testing, each with 4/5/6 GPUs configuration running on identical HW, SW.
Each card is attached via powered riser (they are not all same, different batches) to PCIe x1 slot.
I can see that system with 4 cards performs best in the meaning of hashrate per card, 2nd is 5GPU and 3rd is 6GPU.
Difference on equihash algo with ccminer 2.2.0 on linux is ~10% (best/worst).
What could be a bottleneck ?
It is not really a problem but I would like to know why it performs like that.

I also saw this on my rigs but didnt find out why... until 4 cards everything runs perfect, after adding more hashrate drops and seams a bit instable. Like 1070 34,1 Eth 5th card add only 32.2 otherwise crashes... Smiley Or 1000MHZ Memory overclock after 5th card only 900Mhz...
Maybe Mainboard (i use Asus) or because of the 16 pcie lanes? CPU i tried Celeron and Pentium all same behavior.

Anybody else?
