I think that now that the project has its own forum, we can move our activity there, so as not to depend on BCT rules. 
i think it would still make sense to keep posting in this thread though in order to encourage adoption of PRiV

Bitcointalk is for all of crypto enthusiasts whereas PRiV forum is specifically for those interested or already involved in the coin.
Adoption of both is what we need, shows a strong and engaging community, which we all know it is!

I was skeptical about this coin at first but I've come around. It looks like this community is really driven and very kind to newcomers. I'll take a shot here considering the marketcap is stupidly low right now.

PRiV has a great community as you mentioned but even more exciting is the team behind the coin, they seem to really evaluate each option/step before progressing and it's quite refreshing, fairly professional.

It'll be listed soon. The project is promising and a BIG exchange will help with adoption.
It would indeed be very interesting to see Privcy getting listed on a big exchange with good volume. Just imagine what a few BTCs can do to the price.
I think the circulating supply of the coins is really low, this will definitely help us to reach $3-$5 once we are on the Tier 1 exchange and if everything goes well, we might even moon to $20
WOW! $20.00/PRiV would be a dream price but I doubt we will ever see $20.
$3-$5 though is possible and chances are that everyone here now would have sold by the time it reaches the prediction.

This is a very good chance to get in and still acumulate some more coins! Maybe some of the price predictions are a little optimistic, i´m thinking more of 0,5 USD per coin that is still a very good for me!

I coindeal looked at voting realize bullshit it is. No requirement should needed be its quite ridiculous. Had the number top spot until they took everything away into the trash. Can somebody explain this in a rational sense?

It's very unfair that coindeal decided to take our votes away, hopefully they change their mind, this community has done a lot of work to get listed on their exchange.
Yeah it disappoints me too that PRiVCY votes were taken away but I do believe we could have been in violation of their terms & conditions by making it a requirement for the Airdrop, in essence forcing us to vote and not by choice.
However, it could be argued that the AD is voluntary and voting was merely a requirement (Amongst many others) to "qualify".

Privcy got 50% up in price, CMC says. I think the community did something good.
Alot of people are starting to realize that there is a finite amount of PRiVCY to go around, and soon it will start to grow more scarce. When the airdrops have ended, it will be too late to accumulate a big bag without spending the corresponding big bucks. The staking rewards with PRiVCY are phenomenal, so don't miss the opportunity while it is here! There is currently only 138K PRiV for sale at Crex24 so it certainly looks like the smart AD recipients and investors are holding
What do you expect? The early dumpers have left and those who tried to follow them have learnt their lessons. This project is unique and not like the ones before it. Most of the members of the community are holding their coins close to their heart. They have seen the future...PRIVCY
The votes themselves are also good for awareness, other coin holders voting for their coin will see PRiVCY doing well and want to know why? Ususally that will drive them to social media and the community, possibly making them community members in the process.
In marketing, word of mouth is king, that's why community coins do so well.

God I hate looking at prices these days. Of course I have been constantly accumulating more and more each week but it's coming to a point where I may just take a break and see what happens over the next few weeks. Of course saying that now I'm probably going to forego that idea and buy more, cause I'm a degenerate. Other than that rant I hope you all are doing well. Try not to put your mind on the theatrics that's happening with the price. Stay focused on the long term and you will be just fine. The price is playing with your emotions.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Unless you are a day trader, watching the price every day will drive you insane, you should trust that you have made a good investment in PRiVCY and look at the long-term organic growth.
What is there to worry about? PRiV has a great community and excellent team, the tech ain't so bad either.

I just voted no 92 I didn't get the air drop have never got an air drop but hold some coins I thought I done every thing right for the last airdrop but didn't get any I voted on all the exchanges every day but im still holding my coins just have to try to get the next one .

Unlucky man, just make sure you check out the #Rules section in the Discord server to make sure you have completed all the required tasks every week.
It's simple once you keep an eye on the weekly rule changes in that section. Also, don't forget to retweet, i've noticed a few people being left out of the AD because of that.

Wow, that is some bitcointalk activity. 250 pages in about 2 months. With this rate, we would reach 500 pages before the the end of the year.

I was just thinking the same thing, unfortunately though, it's not a requirement to vote so the "AirDrop Hunters" out there will never go out of their way for the coin, probably because they sell immediately after receiving.
Once Airdrop is done, we will see the real followers of the project, I'm looking forward to it.

If many users join airdrop, everyone will probably get fewer coins, but each of these coins will be worth far more than before.
Actually that is what we want so much that follows this airdrop, but problem is that many participants who don't follow easy rules made by community, if distributed equally to active and inactive participants will be very unfair.Yeah exactly and something given to you for nothing at all is worth nothing at all.

That is true, we have a fairly big community and we only just made the cut for Sonox, it was a close call that should have been a landslide.
That being said, there should also be a ton more votes on Xiphos already, we are in 1st place but that doesn't mean we can become complacent and not vote at our full potential.

I ain't that excited about whitepaper, to be honest. It's good that finally it's arriving and will be useful for other members and investors to know what privcy is actually trying to achieve, but the real excitement is the development itself.
I am eager to see the new updates mentioned by the team for the web wallet, and especially e-commerce plugins. These things will push the project forward and in different league altogether.

I agree, mixing service and privacy related developments are what can really boost public interest on PRiVCY and favor adoption by the big guys.
100% agree, one of the reasons I invested more is because I heard of the "Rattle" ability on discord, the rattle obviously being a mixing/tumbling service. I assumed this is PRiVCY's way of going about stealth addressing which negates the ability to have someone see your holdings via chain analysis.
