Re: Bitcoin Movement in Philippines

I really hope Filipinos could follow through.

Another good news is this:

Filipinos Can Now Send Money Back Home Through Rebit
http://bitforum.info/t/filipinos-can-now-send-money-back-home-through-rebit/220?u=angelo

Seriously, they should be looking more on digital currency than their traditional remittance company.
Imagine how this could change remittances sent to the Philippines.

Fckin' ISIS is entangled with bitcoin again?

Millions Worth of Bitcoins Might Be Utilized By ISIS http://bit.ly/1x0qDBU

Is there truth about this news? What is the impact of this on Bitcoin's price and the digital currency as a whole?

As long as they're using Bitcoin, that will be good for us.

http://bitforum.info/t/any-thoughts-about-the-revised-bitlicense/222?u=angelo

Is everything fair for everyone? Anything else to add? Lawsky might be in here reading all this posts?

What do you think?

It will not help nor save bitcoin.. More adoption please.

Re: Do You Know About Bitcoin
by

Well more than half of the General public doesn't!

If you read the write up:

http://bitforum.info/t/do-you-know-what-bitcoin-is-more-than-half-of-the-general-public-dont/224?u=angelo

WTF? How come bitcoin is still unknown to the common people?
Start ups after start ups have managed to raise millions and millions in funding but more than 50% of the common people doesnt know about it?

What do you think is lacking? What are bitcoin's shortcomings?

Why not try this experiment at home.

Ask your mom, ask your dad, your aunt and uncle, your wife, your brother, your sister, your in laws ---see how many know about Bitcoin.

Terrorists use guns. Are they banned?

Terrorists use dollars. Are they banned?

Terrorists use FUD. Is that banned?

Well, the reason why those were not banned because the government use them too. But does the government use Bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

Therefore the government are terrorists too.

Yeah.. "Legal" terrorist it seems.

The Feds already auctioned off a portion of Ross' coins and the next few batches are coming in due time. Ross is screwed and will likely get a life sentence and more when the hearing takes place on the 30th of May. He's finished unless an appeal gets him some justice.

Too young to be spending his entire lifetime in the can

Re: Study Says - 50% Drop In Cryptocurrency Transactions Will Happen This Year
by
Dondie
on 06/02/2015, 09:28:59 UTC
As the article said, cryptocurrency transactions will drop but Bitcoin might be holding on as a payment technology alternative.

A 50% Drop In Cryptocurrency Transactions This Year Is imminent

However, a 50% drop is as bad as it gets. In the midst of left and right financing from companies who are now considering cryptocurrency as a potential option.

Do you think this study is true? Aside from adoption, is there any possible way to help turn the tides for cryptocurrency?

The Author himself said "I believe that cryptocurrency as a whole might face a decrease of transactions made this year but Bitcoin will continue to flourish as a alternative payment technology for people around the world. "

There is nothing about death of Bitcoin!! Bitcoin must have bright future!!!

I really dont care about other cryptocurrency. I just want Bitcoin to withstand everything. Including studies and researches.

Will Its Involvement On ISIS Lead Bitcoin To Its Eventual Ban? http://bit.ly/1C0HIkH

Well, if matters go worse, maybe banning it is just harshest way to go. We live in a free country and banning bitcoin is not so 'democratic'

Maybe there will be stronger drives for bitcoin regulation.

Eventual ban? Not as I see it.

Re: Will Bitcoin Eventually Kill Facebook?

Basing on this news: http://bit.ly/1yGPr3H

Synereo will be a lot to handle once it gets going. Do you think, Bitcoin could kill other social media giants like Google plus, Twitter and Facebook?
Or will Facebook finally integrates bitcoin to its platform? Smiley

What do you think?

The concept of synereo looks promising. But, they need to release a whitepaper to clearly describe the technical specification.

Well, its still on its starting phase. Smiley

Lets just wait for more features coming.

Bitcoin is money, and money is just a tool. Money by itself has no morality and no sides.

If ISIS succeeds in whatever ISIS is doing it will not be because of the currency of their choice.

But to raise funds, they use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will be in the limelight negatively... again.

since they are in control of most the oil wells in syria and iraq its been estimated they are making 1-3 million dollars a DAY selling oil on the black market

this revenue has NOTHING to do with bitcoin

if anyone in the west is stupid enough to send btc to an ISIS address they will probably get a visit from a swat team shortly after so i wouldnt worry about more FUD in the news

Oh.. I thought you can deal anonymously through bitcoin?
