   We are pleased to announce that Donu-1.0.1 is available for download. Rather than introduce a hard fork with the launch being so young, we opted to completely reset the chain while we had an opportunity to keep the fixes, code and chain as clean as possible. All balances for the swap have been sent out. If you have already installed Donu-1.0.0, the only step to take would be to install Donu-1.0.1 over it. If you have imported your keys already, your balance should show. If not please import your old keys if applicable and you new Donu balance will be reflected in your wallet. Thank you all for your patience. We always aim to resolve issues as quickly and thoroughly as possible. While applying some maintenance fixes, we also decided to open up public mining for double the duration as our token of apology for the inconveniences caused by the initial launch issues. During the process of sending out everyone's swapped DONU, we noticed that the values were erroneous. After an investigation we discovered it was due to PeerCoin's decimal place value. To resolve this issue, we're going to be introducing a hard fork at block 6818 and invalidating block 6819 which is where the first batch of swapped DONU were included. Please refrain from sending any DONU out until we have released the maintenance upgrade or they WILL BE LOST.

Our team is in the process of preparing the new release. The official release date is June 1, 2020. This will include a coin swap (1:1) with a snapshot date of May 31, 2020. Any transactions after this date will not be counted. Please ensure your coins are in place prior to this date, no exceptions will be made.

The launch will include a thirty day public mining period. A pool will be setup prior to release for everyone's convenience.

Public POW block details:

Algorithm: SHA256

Difficulty adjustment: Every block

Public POW starting block: 5051

Public POW ending block: 21600

Block reward: 2 DONU

The development team and community have come to a consensus to drop masternodes in favor of a pure proof of stake model. The development fee has also been dropped, but we will be running staking wallets as a means for funding as well as securing the blockchain. The amount we calculated is approximately 504K DONU to mine with enough inputs to keep the chain moving for at least 1 week. As this is a community-driven project we will continue to listen to suggestions for further improvements.

Proof of Stake details:

Minimum Age: 12 hours

Maximum Age: 30 days

Block Reward: 2 DONU

Donito contest payouts are still being processed. We don't really need to turn this thread into arguments. Everyone's welcome, opinions and all.

The total supply changes daily as more blocks are generated, that's why it's not mentioned. Also, as I said earlier the 10% is for the team, the rest is for expenses and that allocation has paid for everything from the start of this project and continues to. Outrageous would be asking people to just hand us over everything for free without any payment or vested interest in our project. Bartering pre-mine versus using it to dump on the community as is typical practice by most is the proper way to use it. Hopefully that cleared things up for you a bit.

In short, yep that's correct.

Out of 6.5 million total supply, we reserved 10% for the team which is 650,000.
