Everybody knows Coinbase so I am guessing you excluded it on purpose? What was the reasoning for that?

My favorite is Gemini
https://gemini.com/

I'm also interested to know why Coinbase is excluded. I feel like it being excluded is a red flag to not use it, yet I've heard a lot of good (and bad) things about it all over the internet.

Thanks for the payment! I'll be active on Steemit as soon as possible. Just got home and need some recovery time before I write anything. So glad I got in on this before newbies were excluded.  Grin

EDIT: Oh? Newbies are not excluded anymore? Cool. Disregard that part then.  Cheesy

I've browsed your Forum and re-read your FAQ and I see that in theory what you're doing is possible without being a scam... however, I'm still wary. Why do you require the user's full name to register?

This certainly sounds nice and promising. A shame I joined bitcointalk.org so late in the game (or got into Bitcoin so late in general). I don't qualify for the free IFITs but I'll still watch the thread out of interest. I think what you're trying to do is great. Good luck with your endeavors!  Smiley
Thank you for your kind words. You can have your IFITs like bounty if you can translate this topic on other language. We will be happy to have such a dedicated member on the board! Actually we are going to announce this tommorow, because here is evening Smiley

I'd love to help, unfortunately the only language I think I could translate to is French and I don't know enough technical words in that language to guarantee a good translation. If there's other ways I can get involved though, please let me know. While I'm still building my skills, I am learning programming and am also a capable artist. I can spread the word about it too.
Everyone with desire to help and be part of our community is welcome. Be sure you will be involved. For example you can create a logo for our community. It will be great!

Sure, I'll give that a try when I'm back at my computer. Do you have a website yet and/or any size guidelines for the logo(s)?

They are starting to learn about the site though. In fact, they ask me how to earn and I tell them that they just need to check your blogs.
But I respect your decision. Good luck with your campaign.

It's not just that, I see people here creating newbies accounts to signup. I cant prove that they are the same person, but it feels like it.

I need to make sure now, and test my followers, maybe later I will relax the rules, but for now I am getting many inactive ones and that is not good.

damn dude...
Didn't saw that JR.Members can't do this anymore fuck..
I already did it..

Possible I can get the 30.000 satoshis?
Really need it atm..for a bet Tongue

Write something on the website, to know that you will stay active. Write an introduction post there for example, and then I'll pay you.

Just wanted to let you know that I plan to make an introduction post soon but had no time due to thanksgiving celebration. I'm on my mobile right now but I do intend to be active on Steemit when I get back to my computer. Smiley

That signature is too long for Brand new/Newbies to use. Newbies (and below I assume) can't have more than 50 max characters. We also can't use styling (such as making text bold) which also includes links. Does this count as a bug report?  Wink

I gave the link a look and I'm willing to give it a try. By the way, is your site's navigation supposed to not do anything yet when you click on Features or Tools?

BTC Pool Method can change the Fate of Bitcoin Faucets. It will never go dry!

▲ BTC Pool Method can change the Fate of Bitcoin Faucets. It will never go dry!

I know the method, Cause i created it.
It is very simple and by this free method faucet owner can provide even 4000 satoshi to every user each day without loosing any revenue.

If you wanna know about it Just drop me a PM.

Take care.

You don't really offer much explanation here on how or why it works, and requiring a PM to find out more about it is concerning too. We can't compare what you've told individuals about it, nor can other users easily see other people's opinion of whether it's trustworthy or not. Is there a good reason to keep the details private?

I came across this site from a Faucet Rotator and sensed a scam almost immediately. Looked it up on bitcointalk.org and got it confirmed by reading the other posts. Throwing in my agreement here, don't trust this or any other "investment-game" site!  Angry

It's a shame there's so many people using their creativity and resources for scams instead of legitimately entertaining sites that benefit both parties.  Sad

Interesting ideas but nothing concrete here.
Which skills?
Great question. I do not have the answer for everyone. For one person they may only be able to learn the skill of flipping hamburgers (which is in demand somewhere). Others may be able to learn more advanced skills.
Here is a top 25 skills of 2016 for those with brains in their head: http://blog.linkedin.com/2016/01/12/the-25-skills-that-can-get-you-hired-in-2016/

I'd just like to thank Elwar for that link. I realize it may not have taken much to search for it myself had I thought to, but when one has over a hundred tabs open researching dozens of different things, it's nice to get conveniently pointed in the right direction. The article in that blog link doesn't just list 25 skills that are popular with employers, it also offers resources to learn them, so it's really quite helpful if anyone wants to pursue that. Elwar's comment that you can just google it is also still valid.

That said, I do wonder how feasible it is to try and earn Bitcoins by doing jobs like programming if you're not already an expert? Is it even possible for newcomers who go through the effort to learn these skills to compete with existing Bitcoin veterans for those jobs? How much expertise in a programming language does one need before they can reasonably start applying them?

(If my questions would be better served in a new thread, please let me know. I'm still getting used to how things work here)
I don't think learning a skill like programming would help you get Bitcoins especially now in 2016. There are a lot of programmers and coders out there(especially Indians) who can do the job right for cents. They are efficient and provide good quality programmes/codes as well. So, unless you can compete with that price and make a reasonably good/accurate codes, I advise you to stay away from programming. Maybe you can try graphics designing.

Thanks for your input! I'm capable of graphics design so maybe I'll give that a shot.   Grin

I find this part in your Terms of Service a bit concerning:

Quote
Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

This suggests you can simply take whatever money anyone invests and lock a person out of their account, just because you want to, and there's no legal recourse. You might also want to include something in your ToS regarding people who aren't legally allowed to join your site due to their local laws. I didn't find anything mentioning that, and you could be leaving yourself vulnerable if you don't. For example: online casinos and partaking in them is (as far as I could tell) illegal in Texas. I'm not a lawyer so I don't know what the consequences would be, but hopefully this is helpful.

On an unrelated note, there's a typo at the bottom of your homepage:

Quote
Owned by shareholders

Betbase is owned by its shareholders. You have a choice of participating in company strategy as well as some important decisions. You'll receive dividends every 6 months. Lear more.

All that aside, I thought your presentation video was great, and I like the design of your site. I hope this project is legit and goes well. Do you know if investing in the bankroll would be illegal in Texas, given that online casinos are? What about owning shares of your stock?

Re: Any tips for finding and building a team to work with?
by
DopsuranceForThaedos

I'm working on my game development project and going it solo is taking a long time. I'm making progress, but would like to farm out pieces of it and then get other people later on to help with things on the marketing of it, etc. Everyone once in awhile, I'll get someone to help like with writing or things but most of the people end up flaking out. If you have a project in development, how do you get your trusted team together?

I'm new to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk (as you can probably tell with this being my first post), but I've been teaching myself how to make games for years. In that time I've had some limited experience working with teams, so I might have some tips to share. It depends though, are you trying to develop a normal game, or one that incorporates Bitcoin somehow? Also, what language and/or platform are you making the game with?

One tip I can share now is you should provide as many details as you can afford to. For the same reason that you worry about people flaking out, those who would actually be good team members also worry about joining a project that will likely flake. In addition, as obvious as it sounds, money really does improve your results. A team member is much more likely to do their job if they know there's profit on the line, though ideally they will also have a passion for the project.

I can offer more help with finding a team after I know what kind of game it is. I have art and programming skills myself, and have several contacts, but it really depends on what you're making. Finally, if you'd rather not reveal details in the thread, you can PM me.  Smiley
