Re: Is age an important factor in a relationship?
by
Dothyrain
on 23/05/2018, 15:33:28 UTC
There's this saying age doesn't matter , and jail is just a room . Is age really matter in a relationship?

For some age conscious,  yes.  But for some, it is not.  As long as you are in love and understand  each other, age is no longer an issue.  There are girls and guys who choose older men or women because for them older men and women are more matured and experienced in some things.  We cannot teach our heart whose to love.  If our heart choose the one older than I, we follow our heart most of the time.  Age is should not be an issue in a relationship as long as they are single and free.

Re: Why people are still buying BTC?
by
Dothyrain
on 23/05/2018, 15:26:07 UTC
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.

People keep on buying bitcoin because they believe on it.  They have the hope that investing on bitcoin will give them financial freedom.  That Bitcoin will be use as a currency in the near future.  A lot of people, country, businesses are getting aware of bitcoin and its benefit.  We cannot underestimate the value of bitcoin.  Many people have benefited from it.

Re: Forum moderators deleting posts they don't like?
by

on 22/05/2018, 07:30:29 UTC
Hi guys,

it's is very weird, but this is the second time one of my posts got deleted. Both were related to a religious discussion.
My posts didnt offend anyone, we not racist or sexist or something like that at all.
They responded to a previous post, they related to the actual topic of the thread.

What both posts had in common: both were contained critical thoughs about christianity (not offensive!).

When my first post was deleted I had the strange feeling that it just got deleted, because the moderator didn't like my opinion. And this time it's the same.

How come, that a post basically being the same as mine but with an opposite opinion doesn't get deleted, but mine is. Even though it should be fine - at least how  I see it compared to the forum rules.

Are the moderators here are all hardcore-pro-christians and biased in a way?

I'm just curious, if anyone feels offended, I'm sorry.

That also happens to me.  I have made posts more than 30 to to rank up as Jr Member.  When I check my account, my posts were deleted and my rank go back to newbie.  I have to make and work on my posts to rank up again as Jr Member.  My effort and time were wasted.  I hope the moderators wont take personally the opinion of others.  It has a great impact for users with bounty campaigns.

Re: Feeling bitter in banks?
by

on 11/05/2018, 08:43:40 UTC
I have notice that some of us here in the forum have this kind of bitterness feeling in banking sectors. They always compare banks and cryptocurrency and to the extent that they want to eradicate banks and to be replace by crypto. Are you sick and tired of reading this kind of post?

We cannot blame them since bank is giving a very little interest to their savings wherein the banks use their money to earn bigger profit. Before we have no choice since bank is the only institution where we can put our money safely  and be content with the interest they gave us in exchange of the security. When bitcoin enter,  people now can compare the difference and they have now the choice which one to select where they feel security and happiness.

Re: Tips para ma-secure ang (mga) Crypto Wallets natin
by
Dothyrain
on 11/05/2018, 08:36:20 UTC

6. Privacy - Dapat very limited lang ang nakakaalam ng ginagamit mong crypto wallet at hindi dapat yon basta basta binabanggit sa social media or sa iba pang online sites.

The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?

The government should provide livelihood and educaction to all people who are less fortunate and those that belong to the poverty line. We should help one another to make our exonomy better. Good economy start from the leader down to his subordinates. Proper llocation of budget to priority to least priority.

                                                            5. Recognition in the Colleagues.
|5. Not Applicable

The biased way in which you approach this subject tells me you are not someone that takes crypto serious in the slightest. You are dangerously misinformed and spreading misinformation.

Coding is not the "hardest" one to get in, that's a completely subjective statement. I am a software engineering student and for me, coding would be the easiest or most realistic route for my skill set to take me. You are not analyzing this objectively or in-depth by any means, you are throwing things against the wall and hoping that something sticks so you can claim to be correct.

Even the wordage you use is telling that you don't belong having this conversation, to distinguish between the two as "Real" and "Something else" you are implying that the second category is not real. It is real, in case you weren't aware.

"Real" Jobs are not Secured for life, they are never secured for life unless you have a contract without contingencies, stipulations or renewal dates keeping you in your position, which is unheard of. So your 1. is completely nullified and holds no weight.

You can easily acquire "fixed" income in crpyto, and most jobs in the "real" world are not fixed either.
If you do not see advancement opportunities available in crypto, then you are closed-minded and short-sighted. Many people started from nothing and have worked their way up in crypto to being millionaires, is this not effectively a promotion? They require more effort, knowledge, expertise and receive more pay; this is a "promotion".

I do not know what job offers yearly "hikes" in salary; please do tell me where you work. Bitcoin has increased in value every single year, this would make your past work more valuable, not only increasing your future wages, but making the work you've already done more profitable retroactively.

"Recognition in the colleagues", Who? What are you even talking about? If you contribute to this community you garner the recognition and respect you have earned/commanded.

As it seems to me, you have exactly 0 points and are making next to no sense. You have not thought this through, you are approaching this conversation from a biased perspective and you would do better off going back to your cozy, familiar life. We are pioneers, changing the world and you're free to cling to the safety of the past if you so choose; you will be left behind.

Very well said sir. At first dont choose between the two if you have not yet experience to earn in bitcoin. You need to be knowledgeable and explore the world of bitcoin before giving our conclusion to it. If you are already earning big enough from bitcoin maybe its time for you to choose between your job and bitcoin. There are more advantages doing bitcoin job than any other jobs out there. I believe many people have gain and earn big enough compared to their jobs before and decided to do fulltime in bitcoin.

Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things?
by
Dothyrain
on 28/04/2018, 09:25:27 UTC
It helps not to have an ATM card, debit or credit card. If cash/credit is easily obtainable it will probably cause someone to spend more.

A lot of extremely wealthy people go into more depth about exactly the principle you are getting at here. Limit your own access to your funds. Put your extra money into some sort of investment, account or any where that you cannot access it, no matter how desperate you get. This will allow you to create a stable foundation at some point. Rather than constantly draining your reserves and starting from nothing, you will have fruitful investments bringing you multiple streams of income. You will be thankful that you squirreled away that money somewhere that allowed it to work for you, rather than buy you whatever you think you need.

Internet shopping is easy, convenient and often supports free shipping which can make saving difficult.

My mother has a terrible problem with internet shopping. My suggestion is don't even go to the websites. Never go browsing through a retailer, or some kind of online store. You'll find yourself monologuing and being convinced by your own stupidity that "it's a good deal", "I've got a few extra bucks", etc. You'll always find an excuse to spend your money, so limit your exposure to these spending opportunities.

How a person spends their time is probably the biggest factor. If friends always go out and spend money that makes things tough.

Agreed. Stop going out and spending $50 on drinks with the boys. Do that twice a week and you're down over $5,000 a year. Add on top of that a $5 drink every morning, because you like the fruity taste and you're down another $2,000 every year. Imagine if you just had all of that to invest, or just threw it in Bitcoin. People that smoke marijuana a few times a day end up spending about $5,000-$10,000 a year on that alone. How you spend your time matters, those mundane little things you do everyday are the most important things you do in your life. Not only does the money add up, but the time does, too. Say it takes you 20-minutes to get that drink every morning, driving/walking to the shop, waiting in line, drinking it and getting back to wherever you need to be; realistically it probably takes even longer than you think. We'll say 20-minutes, though. Do that everyday and you're spending 3 full-time work-weeks doing that small mundane daily task. Your time is worth something like $50 an hour if you have any reasonable skills and you invest it into something that truly matters. You may not be paid that much, but it could be spent elsewhere and you certainly could attain that figure if you spent your time more wisely. So not only is that drink costing you $2,000 a year in cash, but it is costing you 3-weeks worth of work or about $6,000 (at least) of your time, too. Then you have to consider that's it's probably bad for your health, too.

My point is that everybody has things that they know they would be better off if they stopped doing them. Figure out what these are, and if you need to then motivate yourself by calculating their true cost. How much time, how much money, is it affecting my health, is it helping me to achieve my goals of financial and marital success, etc. These are the questions you have to ask yourself to push yourself away from the idiotic spending.

Thats right. We should focus on the things that we need not on the things we want. Those things can be eliminated innour budget. We can live withou it. Just think how much money we spend on those unimportant things.its a big waste. In this way,  we can help ourselves to avoid hospital and live a healthy lifestyle.

Is not my case, I do have some savings so I didn´t start from absolutely nothing, but I had not much to start with. I am having a decent go at cryptos and I think it may be possible to make a living... What could be a good strategy?

In bitcoin,  you can start with zero budget. Your capital should be internet connection and a gadget,  a computer,  laptop or mobile phone. I know some people who have no work and just depend on bitcoin to earn a living. At first,  it is hard since you are still starting to explore in the bitcoin world but once you familiarize with it,  it becomes easy. Bitcoin can be your main source of income.

Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt?
by
Dothyrain
on 25/04/2018, 02:21:14 UTC
what would you do if you had so much debt and that your income was not enough to repay your debt installment?
how will you deal with it?
how to solve it?

In my region we have best solution for this one. The financial support that we get from it is almost free but it works completely on the mutual understanding and trust. With that said people who are very very trusted will gather together. Fro example, close friend, family members etc. There will be at least 20 members in this scheme. The scheme started at first date of every month where the names of every member involved into the scheme are written on cheats and then one by one the names are explored. These are written down in the same manner as they were picked and explored.

The terms are decided like this:

Amount will be declared for the schemes: For example : $ 10,000 (USD is not my currency but for better understanding keeping it that way)

Rules:

Each member will pay monthly instalment as per the norms. If the scheme is in 20 member then it will run for 20 months. Each month every person will pay $500 as instalment. The owner of the scheme will collect this money and will give it to the person whose number is 1st in the list.

Thus there will be no extra charge, no interest rate on this but you just get the money with mutual understanding. This way every 20 member get their turn one by one after each month for the next 20 months.

What you have to pay is just 500 bucks and you can get the 10,000 USD right away and can reduce the debts and its interest immediately. This is great help for you.

TRY IT IN YOUR LOCALITY YOU WILL SEE GOOD RESULTS.

We have that in our country,  it is called "paluwagan". This is a bit risky. If it is already their turn and get the full amount of money. Suddenly they will stop paying their share. The next person in line will suffer and wont get the full amount when her turn comes. There is no assurance to this. Some people cannot be trusted. We have another one in the office where everyone who will join will choose how many shares they were able to pay. Every pay day they will pay that amount. Every member can also loan a certain amount. The interest earn for one year will be divided to all members. At the end of the year they will return all their shares including the interest their money earn. This is a big help to others.

I dont see anything wrong if your husband or wife can access to your social media account. If you are not hiding anything,  you have nothing to worry. This only proves that you can be trusted. Honesty start from a very small thing. If you do not allow your wife to open your account,  therw must be something on that account. Quarrel will began and she will be suspicious to you.

Re: What is your take on homosexuality?
by

on 10/04/2018, 10:09:58 UTC
It's a terrible idea to jail or beat people to death for being homosexuals. I mean, their lifestyle do not affect us in any way, why would we want humans like us destroyed. I know for sure that certain people are born homosexuals, so why would they be punished for what wasn't their fault?

However, I strongly dislike the fact that people go about promoting homosexuality. I don't think it's a good idea. The lifestyle doesn't just feel right.
I consider homosexuality is a disorder... it should be handled medically and if possible, spiritually (for those who believe) like other disorders.  Imagine encouraging people to be Fat because you think being fat is OK and cool.

Anyway, I want your opinion on this matter. Are you OK with Gays?

I am against homosexuality. I know they are still humans and has the right to be what they want in their lives. Homosexuality is a sin. God created two gender only which is male and female. What they are doing is a sin. Theu engage into sex with same sex. God hated this act.  This is the reason why He destroy Sodommah and Gomorrah in the bible because of their sinful nature. God loves these people so he want them to be transform and renewed and live the kind of life God wants them to live.

I find drug abuse has become a major threat to humanity. Being one of the causes of crime, causing disorder and security, degeneration of the race, human dignity, undermining of family happiness, affecting health and especially infectious diseases. transmission of HIV / AIDS in the community; Consequences and harms caused by drug addicts cause serious impacts on economic development, threatening the stability, prosperity and longevity of each nation and each ethnic group. what's your opinion  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Drugs has a lifetime effect to people. It affects their mind,  body and  health. People who take drugs become violent and most of the time they are the cause why the number of crimes are increasing. Their future was ruin. They waste their time to non sense thing. Our country should foucs on eliminating drug pushers and rehabilitizing the users.

How do you cope up with people who have anger issues in their attitude?
Do you retaliate resulting in violence? Do you ignore the person? Or do you communicate with the person and try to fix their issues?
When someone is angry,  dont be angry also. The other should be calm. If they are both angry it will result to biolence. The other person should control his emotions and do not be provoke by the situation. If he is already calm,  its about time that you should talk to him. The angry person hears no one and will not accept any explanation. Allow the person and the situation to cool down before you take any action.

Avoid those people or report them to your supervisor. You are in the office,  Im sure there are some ways you can do like you can request to be transfer to other department or branch. First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?

To stop smokng,  what you need is a strong determination and strict discipline .

by

on 02/04/2018, 02:08:54 UTC
Somebody Say if we commit sin we will be also belong to the the Wrath of GOD and we will not be having eternal Life?

Sin is anything committed against God's law and commandments. Anything that displeases God is a sin. If you know that what you are doing is bad but you still continue to do it. That is sin. God has already redeemed us from all our sins and unrighteousness through his crucifixion. All we need to do is to live a holy and Godly life. We have to honor God in our lives.
