Hey, all! Thank you for being patient with us as we work to wrap up Q2. As we all know, there are 3 items on the Qbic 2.0 Roadmap which were slated for completion this quarter: Treasury Fund Offering, Mobile Wallets, and the CoinExchange listing. The good news is that our devs tell us the mobile wallet is nearing completion! Currently, optimization and language translation is the focus, with beta testing to quickly follow. We can't give an exact date of release just yet, but we'll keep our finger on the pulse for you guys. In other news, we've also recently added another developer to the team to make another attempt at solving the difficulty retargeting issue (long confirmation times is a result of this problem), among working on various other ideas for the project. For hopefully obvious reasons, we've decided to prioritize solving the retargeting issue before listing on another exchange and rolling out the TFO, as we believe solving this will drastically improve the foundation on which the project is built. Thank you for your support. Make it a great day.

I have received, for only one week, wholy shit. You, dev, should close the campaign right now simultaneously with deeply apology to your supporters. Extremely dissapointed.

What exactly are you referring to? which campaign?

on other news, a new campaign just launched today!

I read the guide last night but it was late. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to vps... so i have my dell desktop at home, I buy the small package from vultr and also get Ubuntu 17.
I guess my confusion is I am still running it at home on my local desktop but using a remote server that vultr provides?
And I will definitely be reading the guide word by word before I set anything up, but I want to make sure it’s doable with my setup

Correct. the reason for the remote server is so that your node stays connected to the network 24/7, which allows you to disconnect your local computer from network without disruption to node.

Check out the website and Discord channel for guides/tutorial/FAQ. there's a lot of resources for you, depending on how you learn best! And of course, drop a line in Discord if you need extra help (much easier to help than it is on BTCTalk).

Lol, is this coin alive??) I think this is coin a shit, price falled. It's coin like goa, spark, rice, bul. Maybe in future team will make a nice things, but not now!

Please no FUDding here.. if you don't have anything productive to add to the conversation, find another chatroom, please. If you've followed our development you'd know that this project is very much alive...

I always get Watchdog_Expired when trying to enable my MN .. I followed the instructions in the PDF but somehow it's not working.
Anything I can do? Do I have to unblock some more port besides 17195?
How can I check if the qbicd is running at my Ubuntu? If I try to start it aggain it says it can't obtain a lock on something and assumes it is already running. But I'm not so sure ..?

Edit: What is this with sentinel? Do I need this? Is this already installed? How to check?
Edit2: I think the qbicd on my Ubuntu box is not syncing and that this may causethis problem .. what can I do?

Hey, we can help.. but I'd recommend jumping over to Discord so it's easier to communicate with everyone. Also, there's a lot of resources pinned there that can help.

Post a message in Masternode-help when you get in.

Thanks,

Hey, everyone ! Today we got listed on a new mobile app called /untouchable. Currently, the app is functional with BTC, ETH, and Qbic... since it's brand new, however, the /untouchable team would love feedback from the Qbic community. Instructions on how to set it up can be found here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZiivJhZm547tXsouGREV40IHpG_lFJufA-z0FtzoXls/edit?usp=sharing and the iOS app can be downloaded here: https://itunes.apple.com/ru/app/untouchable-wallet/id1356535011?l=en&mt=8. They tell us that Android will be released soon also. Since this has not been developed by us, please use at your own risk, however, we've been assured all is safe.

And, for those wondering, this does NOT take the place of the Qbic Mobile Wallet on the roadmap; we're still very much committed to continuing the development of our own mobile wallet...

Thanks,

Furthermore, QBIC team have demonstrated their dedication and intensive efforts to keep the project on the right track.
in more detail in which place they demonstrated their efforts ?? the price of a coin as it was in the pit, so it remains ... there are no new markets / exchanges. While serious movements on the coin is not very noticeable. and it's too early to talk about prospects Sad

Although we do very much appreciate your perspective, we'd like to point out that serious movements have been made essentially every week, as outlined in the recent blog we published. In terms of price, over the past month, price is up 50% and market cap is up 100%.... however, we can't focus purely on this or hang our hat on it; we have a lot of work to do! Re: Exchanges; for some reason, there's a common perception that more exchanges = more success. We don't necessarily operate with this same mind-set.

Thank you for your comment and stopping by!

I do not think that with 10MN = 20 BTC
QBIC can be listed on a shit exchange
Let me ask 20 BTC you get from selling 10MN went where?

Good question.. but that's a question for the original team. I don't know for fact how many MN's were sold or for how much.. or where it went. I do know that I was a investor in the project first and that I'm part of the 2.0 team that came aboard in late February. Our efforts have since been swift to turn this project around and restore the faith of the community.. but, unfortunately, we can't speak to anything that happened before Qbic 2.0.

Onward and upward,

Additionally, spending a couple of minutes to discover the block explorer of QBIC, I have found that lots of premined coins moved to set up masternodes. Which are main purposes of those Masternodes from premined coins?
Would you mind giving me more explanations/ clarifications about main objectives of them (original ones)?

Thanks in advance, Dr.eW.

Absolutely, so, if you're looking at the block explorer, specifically the premined coin wallet, you'll see deductions which paid the signature bounties (Jan 25-Feb 7). After that was when Qbic 2.0 was born; 20,000 qbic was transferred on 2/23 and 3/6 as a fund to cover payroll (and outsourced work), bounty campaigns, and odd end expenses that arise. We need to discuss further what the other coins will be used for, but for now, they're not moving...

Hopefully this answers your question,

Let's make QBIC great aggain Cheesy Tongue
I need more background information about current progresses, and internal changes/ movements of QBIC project before making important decisions to buy QBIC and contribute to make the coin great again.

Great conversations! Thank you for your activity and the productive + constructive dialogue.

Now, when you say you need more background information regarding current progress, what exactly are you seeking? I ask because we understand this is a sentiment shared by many investors and is the reason we committed to publishing a blog; the blog was posted last week and can be found here: https://medium.com/@CryptoQBIC/ We also make a great effort to consistently communicate our developments via this thread, Twitter, Discord, and Telegram.

If there is something, in addition to the above-mentioned actions, that you think will help advance investor trust in the project, please let us know! We're here to make this project GREAT.

Thank you,

As we finish up the week, we'd like to announce that we've published the first edition of The Chronicles. It can be found here: https://medium.com/@CryptoQBIC/the-chronicles-9cf5e17b09de Have a great weekend, all!

Dr.eW
you should spend couple of mins to take a look at listing rules of the following exchange:
https://cryptox.pl/
Then, send official listing requirement to the one if you interested in cryptox exchange.

I'll make it a point to check it out this upcoming week. Thanks for passing on the info... keep in mind the team's position on adding more exchanges though. Regardless, it never hurts to know what options are out there!

Yes.. whitepaper solid.. team looks solid.. roadmap is well thought through .. even the website is better than a lot of large coins out there.. so it is impressive.. I think it's way undervalued compared to most of the junk out there. Read the medium above and I rest my case.. great work

We very much appreciate (and agree with) your evaluation of our project. We're gaining traction and momentum! Choo Choo... Watch out for the Qbic train! Wink
