can anyone who has been getting paid out in btc tell me what the approximate btc per MH per day has been for the last 2 or 3 days?

Seems very low.  On the order of 0.002 to 0.003 at best.

Yeah I got an AC payout earlier today but these two (365 and POT) have been sitting pending since yesterday and nobody wants to answer me as to why ... they just ignored my email or haven't gotten to it yet.  But 12 hours now since I sent the email and no response ...  I'll point my hash elsewhere and see if they ever get back to me but won't hold my breath ....

Relax a little.  Nearmiss is a real stand-up guy.  He'll take care of it.  Nobody's running off with your coins.

Hi, there. I transferred 1100 coino to the address listed in my wallet on the exchange. This was almost 7 hours ago and it still shows 0 in my balance. I can't get the transaction ID at the moment, but I'll check when i get off work in a few hours.  Same user name.

Okay...I'm throwing in the towel..........not with USDe of course, you think I'm stupid? Grin

I live in Portland Oregon, USA. I have been trying so many different sites and all of them seem too sketchy, or downright horrendous to try and use.
Can someone tell me, step by step, the best sites (or combination of them if required) to use so that I can easily xfer USD to an exchange that supports the purchasing of USDe. I would prefer to use c-cex but some methods of xfer won't work for me because of my location, or my visa/mastercard doesn't support international exchanging. If anybody knows the best/fastest/most convenient way to get USD onto C-cex without being raped by fees as high as 10%, please let me know
All I want to frikking do is add funds to c-cex without having to first add them to some other sketch website that I then send to c-cex, wait for the xfer to confirm (however long it takes), and buy some damn USDe/BTC/etc.

tl;dr I live in America and want to turn USD into BTC/USDe....what is the fastest, easiest, most convenient way.

I'm also in the US and I've gone with Coinbase.com for USD->BTC then withdrew from that site to my BTC wallet.  Then it's just a simple matter of sending BTC to whichever exchange for purchases.  It probably works the same in reverse, but since I've only been buying I can't elaborate on the selling side.

Note: you will have to give them a lot of banking info and in order to do instant buys via credit card you will have to give them all the details AND wait a while for verification.  Which is not unreasonable considering BTC purchases/sales are non-reversible.

+1 for Coinbase.  Actually, I've sold a bit of BTC there to cover mining costs, so I know it works in the reverse, too.  Converting BTC to dollars takes 3-4 business days once all the verification steps are accomplished.

Hey guys, love the service and appreciate the compensation.  But do you guys think you could just turn off your nobile site entirely or fix the menu on the mobile site.  I wanted to wait a bit to bring it back up but I use my mobile 90% of the time so its starting to become a pain to have to vies from a computer.  Changing the user agent in my mobile browser still brings up mobile version as well for some reason so there truly is no way for me to view anything other than the main page.  Thank you in advance.

Menu should work fine on mobile now, please let me know if your still seeing any issues with it

This is a good update, nearmiss.  Congrats on the new little one.

Before the redesign, I could request the desktop site while on my phone (Android), and it would give it to me.  Now it forces the mobile site regardless of which mobile browser I'm using, and despite requesting the full site.  I like to see the difficulty and profitability numbers, which are absent on the mobile version of the pages.  Thanks!

I'd anticipate a number of improvements in the site over time but it's worth pointing out to some of the new miners in the pool that the site was attacked a month ago and in the hack, all miners coin balances were stolen and the user database fully compromised.

Actually, most of the miners' funds were not stolen.  Mine were not.  Most of the payout addresses were changed, but the owners disabled everything before the majority of the users lost their funds.  Also, I don't think there's any evidence the user database was fully compromised.  Depends on how they stored the passwords, etc.

Your selective quote missed the point of my post. It wasn't to inform people like you who purport to know it all, even when you qualify and dilute your supposed claims to actuality at the end of your post.  If you read what I said, it was merely a polite notice to inform new miners that the pool isn't operating at normal capacity and that a rebuild is in progress. As you didn't have any coins stolen, you're no doubt less appreciative of the efforts of the pool operators and their response to the hack to provide some level of restitution after the theft.

Speaking as one who did have their coins stolen and their payout address changed, I emphasised the honourable approach taken. Your post was pointless and didn't provide any real information, you tried to down-play the hack and theft when you weren't effected and tried to big note yourself when in actual fact you've no more information to add other than than the selfish remark that your coins weren't stolen - let me assure you that as a person who was effected, I am grateful for the actions the pool operators took.

-----

[If the above is tl;dr, the short response is fuck off you arsehole, there was a hack, funds were stolen, not all coins have been restored and a rebuild is in progress, get over yourself.]

Dude, chill, seriously!  If your main point was to congratulate the owners on their honorable approach, then do it, by all means.  Read back in the thread some dozens of pages.  I was very appreciative of the way they handled the theft, despite the fact that I didn't have any coins stolenhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=293872.msg4212152#msg4212152

Say what's true.  Stick to what you know.  Parts of your post were not true, so I corrected them.  Where did I purport to know it all?  In case you missed my point, you saying that all coins were stolen and the database fully compromised made the owners look like incompetent morons.  I emphasized the speed of their response to the situation.  Despite your lack of civility and extremely short fuse, we're on the same team.

If it gets to 1000, I could sell my stash and pay off the credit card I used to buy my rig back in December.

Don't Sell!

Waiting to 2000 satoshi

Next diff 22

And if this happens, I could pay off the one I bought....and buy another.  Grin

I'm guessing he thinks that I'm the voice or representative of this coin. I was calling out a possible scammer, who accused our coin's developer of possibly dumping their premined USDe, that is trying to promote his exchange on our thread instead of making his own thread and I'm the bad guy?

You worded it like, he is a scammer because he's non-English.. That's kinda generalisation and pretty offensive to non-English people who are in to this coin, like me...

Sorry, but I think you're really over-reacting to this.  I had exactly the same first impression of the new exchange announcement (that it rather looked like a scam), and for exactly the same reasons.

RPC seems to take forever verifying blocks.

I agree. I've tried searching/reading on it but I can't find an explanation for this.

Is this a problem with HashCows?

The difficulty change with RPC takes 720 blocks (target time of 1 day per difficulty setting).  The Dev of that coin didn't know about multipools when he designed the coin, so when the diff goes low, we all jump on the band wagon (this happened Sunday night in the USA).  The blocks then get mined WAY to fast, the diff goes high, and everyone jumps off.  We're talking swings from 5 Gh/s down to 500 Mh/s.  At 120 confirms, the coin takes forever when the difficulty is high and we're not mining it.  In the last 6 hours (without us mining), they've managed to find all of 9 blocks.

It's a catch-22.  When we're not mining, it takes all day to confirm our coins.  When we are mining, profits are good but we're killing the coin.  They're talking about a hard fork in the near future to correct the abnormally long diff re-targeting.

Is that 6pm est on the 12th?

No, 6PM CST / 5PM EST, 22hr 34min from now

I'm in the Eastern time zone, USA, and it definitely is counting down to 6 PM Eastern time.  For the record, unless you're delaying things two hours in the Eastern time zone, a time of 6 Central could not correspond to 5 Eastern.  That's backwards.  It would have to be either 6 PM EST/5 PM CST or 6 PM CST/7 PM EST or 5 PM EST/4 PM CST.

Also, the menu on your mobile site isn't opening when pressed so you can't navigate away from the home page.  Not a pressing issue obviously, just thought I'd let you know.

Yes, I've noticed this, too.  It's frustrating because (at least in Chrome for Android) the website also denies my request to load the desktop version.  There's no link on the page to go to the classic or desktop version, and clicking the checkbox to request desktop version in the menu does nothing but reload the mobile page.  So I can't do anything from my phone right now.  Again, no huge deal.  Certainly get the important stuff done first.  But it's something to add to the list.

Ive had my tablet on auto login on the site. So i have read access to my account and see whats happening. Been loged in the whole week.

My PC was logged in, too, all week.  But today I'm logged out, so I also wondered if something had changed.  Apparently not, though.  I'm now logged out, but nothing else seems to have changed.  I'm gonna miss knowing what's going on with my account....

Successfully cashed out 0.267 BTC today.  Thanks for being stand-up guys and working overtime to resolve the issues.

I wasn't one of the ones who was stolen from, but I nonetheless appreciate the integrity.  Keep up the great work, guys.  I'll keep a few Mh/s pointed your way.
