I have some LIFE, the only deal breaker that would cause me to sell everything now would be hearing from the developers that the proposed credit card will not be available to US customers. Please make my day and tell me it will be available globally. Please could somebody do the right thing here for once, and just promise to make it happen for the US market? What's it gonna be folks?

LIFE is like a box of chocolates....

Nada. The result of git pull is that it is already up to date and sudo make install stops with the exact same error message I posted previously.
Still stumped. Do you think I should  erase all traces of latest files and downloaded tarball and simply start from scratch. I'm willing to try, but not certain it is necessary.
Seems like I should be able to locate the source of the stumbling block, and move forward, but it is a mystery as to what the problem is. I already went through the list of
dependencies and feel pretty sure I have all the ducks in a row... still no quack! I sincerely appreciate all your help though. If you are not already, you should be working for customer service
at some big time exchange and making about five times whatever your current pay rate is. Just a thought. Grin

Thanks lomtax for all your efforts. I copied and pasted your revised install code for Linux and all goes well until I get this error message:

rpcrawtransaction.cpp:299:77:   required from here
/usr/include/boost/variant/get.hpp:178:5: error: invalid application of ‘sizeof’ to incomplete type ‘boost::STATIC_ASSERTION_FAILURE’
     BOOST_STATIC_ASSERT_MSG(

make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/glen/digitalcoin/src'
Makefile:509: recipe for target 'install-recursive' failed
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

I must be closer than ever, but still won't fully make. FYI, yes I did sudo during the make install command. For now I'm still mining DGC to a paper wallet address and looking forward to sorting this out. I think I'm feeling nostalgic
for some simpler coins that just plain work and  I used Digital coin back when it first hit the scene. I liked it.

Thanks again if you have any ideas how I can move forward from here let me know. Probably something silly at this point.

Hate to be a downer but  Linux wallet still not working for me. Tried everything won't configure or make keeps complaining of missing  BerkeleyDB C++ headers missing. when I try all available remedies I end up with a conflict between libdb4.8-dev
and 5.3. nothing working qt wallet not installed properly. Think I'll give up for now, and try again in a few days.

Been doing BTC since 2013. Tons of different coins, wallets, exchanges, and mining. Never had a problem till I tried CryptoDao.com to try and acquire a small amount of ASCH based on it's being listed as an exchange to purchase ASCH from Coinmarketcap. They have apparently stolen my BTC deposit. I should have realized much sooner what was going on when I wasn't given a transaction number for the withdrawal. Like most, I assumed the Chinese language difference was responsible for bad communication. Fuck me. Learned a valuable lesson here today, never again. No volume, no action, no communication, no support...no business from me. Fuck them.

Re: [ANN] CampusCoin (CMPCO) - The College Cryptocurrency
by

Can anybody steer me in the right direction? I'm looking for a CampusCoin blockchain explorer where I can enter a public key and get a balance, or a transaction number and get a blockhash. The " block explorer" on the CMPCO website doesn't appear to allow inputting data, not much "exploring" goin on, more of a ticker of recent transactions and the current block number, which is useful but not the tool I'm looking for.
Thanks.

Greetings fellow Bean sprouters,

Can't seem to get a few questions answered, any help would be appreciated.

Q:  Do I need to do anything unusual or special  to stake my Bitbeans in a fully synced, and unlocked wallet? It has been consistently hovering between 12-15 hours  till reward  for over a week.

Q:   Is it possible  that I simply don't have anywhere near enough coins to be seriously staking at all?   (I'd say 1211474.89 BITB ought to be good for sprouting something, a leaf a root, anything!)

Q:   Can I please see and hear people posting positive results from their healthy, fully functioning, successfully, and frequently staking BitBean Wallets?

Q:   Can I please be informed of merchants accepting BitBeans for goods and services?

Q:   Would folks please post here their reviews of successful Exchanges with healthy wallets, and rapid no nonsense transactions? For the love of The Bean!  Smiley

THANK YOU.

Thanks for a sane explanation and an easy fix. I guess you have to know how to prepare the soil before you plant the beans. I appreciate your help... will be sending my first thousand Bean to:

Thank you for responding. I got that list from an ancient post here. Your list of nodes is obviously much more extensive. I'm not trying to create a .conf file for a Windoze wallet, I'm trying to add nodes from the console
inside my Linux wallet, which is the most current one and simply won't connect at all for syncing. Still trying to get a quarter million beans into my wallet for staking. Not connecting at all. Zero peers. Any suggestions, I haven't given up, just can't figure out how to addnodes from the command line so I can make a deposit and set these beans 'a sproutin'.

What is the correct syntax for entering nodes to the wallet console, I keep getting error message "method not found" I'm using the linux wallet, but it does not connect for syncing.

I'm using these nodes:  ( are they even correct, current and active?)

Thanks   Can't very well buy some beans if the wallet doesn't sync straight away right out of the box. And why isn't the current wallet the ONLY version available for download? I can never figure out why all wallets don't have a current version displayed loud and clear right at the top of the wallet....doesn't that make more sense than flashy artwork, or "features" that are frequently just plain broken? No reflection on the bean, love the bean!

Is there such a thing as a paper wallet to save XCN to after syncing and recovering my balance from a very slow syncing wallet. Just trying to keep the experiment alive and well. The good news is I have 19 active connections and the wallet is backed up
successfully. Will post positive results as I am able to verify each fully functioning process. This coin has serious potential for greatness once the wallet wonkyness gets resolved. Hell, most days of the week it's amazing the world works at all, Cryptonite  could still put a huge smile on your face...... Cheesy
