as you can clearly see the bitcoin network is working just fine, despite what some would have you believe
the problem lies in the custom built wallet software exchanges implemented.
attacker(s) are, unsuccessfully, trying to fool these exchange into thinking tx are not occurring when they really are
bitcoin dev are working to resolve this problem by working with exchanges, miners, and also thinking about possible protocol updates to completely remove all possibility of future attacks.
now look back and see who has been spreading FUD, and click ignore.
I posted the link so everyone could see the protocll is working. Not for spreading FUD. . . Next time i should at a disclaimer / my opinion.

I am to unhappy with trading beeing halted. But we are playing an early adopters game. Be prepared. Spread your coins/usd to other exchanges, place catch orders, .... This isn't the first time this is happening in the world of bitcoins

Sounds to me like "Gox ist talking bullshit - whatever their problem is it has nothing to do with this long known bug"

I have 'auto-renew' on, but funds have been sent to the exchange wallet and BTC bought. Also, I couldn't login, had to change the password ... wtf?? Auto-renew is still on, but I'm holding BTC that I never traded ...
It looks like someone was preparing to make a withdrawal .... omg. Damage right now is that I own BTC at a bad price ... but can be reversed. But we need to figure out what has happened ...

It seems as the other exchanges are just watching what MtGox does but are not following it directly.
750 on stamp/btce seems very unlikey. But well see. I'm out till next 4h close

Can anyone explain to me why GOX crashed/is crashing?
If I had any fiat sitting on that exchange I'd be buying as much coin as I could with it and moving it to another exchange ASAP. So why isn't the price skyrocketing?
