Re: Knowledge is still power in cryptocurrency
by

Patience is a virtue and that is what many people lack. Crypto investment sometimes can be very frustrating if you expect a quick return. The most important knowledge anyone can have in crypto is the possibility of a long term duration before maturity. Knowledge is very important since various crypto investments take different forms.
You need to understand that you need to learn the market trends. Sometime last year I sold one of my coins in a rush just to watch the price double in less than 10mins later.

Knowledge is crucial and patience is needed in order to obtain the required knowledge.

Truly, knowledge is paramount but then without patience the knowledge cannot be put to us. All cryptocurrency traders must master the act of patience, as patience is required to make a profit in cryptocurrency trading.

Normal me I no go fit advice anybody to dey work for any person for this country, but it all depends on the offer. Gambling it very addictive, some people don accept am as  life style. But I stop 2022 when visual gambling chop my house rent. I only trade forex now and I have been able to find my edge in the market. For that your friend if he continue lossing every time in forex advise him to invest in knowledge first, because him dey use him gambling addiction follow forex and it does not work like that.

The fight for survival is real, and people will try anything to put food on the table. I gamble and earn money from it. When I gamble, I always set a monthly goal, and the outcome so far has been that I profit some months and lose others, but it is preferable to receiving orders from someone because you work for them.

Re: Problem facing the application of educational technology in Nigerian schools

The problem facing the application of educational technology in Nigeria school are numerous.                           (1)lack of facilities to work with
(2)lack of good environment for students
(3)lack of good payment to teachers
And alot more of them but the cause of this is from the leaders and the government they don't care about the educational system in Nigeria at all.if not for private individuals the educational system in the country has no future.

I don't think good payment to teachers is a problem in the application of educational technology in Nigeria. If educational technology is provided in schools, teachers must be trained on how to use it to enhance their instruction. The fact that teachers will not provide educational technology indicates that their pay has no direct impact on the use of educational technology.

Re: Does online gambling lead to more addiction?
by
DragonF
on 08/02/2025, 10:25:47 UTC
Online gambling just made gambling easier and more accessible than visiting physical shops, I don't know of oys right to say that it leads to gambling addiction because more people having access to gambling in an easier and flexible fashion does not not amount to gambling addiction. Although it has the tendency of making people gamble beyond limits since the deposit method is easy and smooth but I don't believe it leads to gambling addiction.
It is just statistics i think. The same percent in online and offline casino, but online gambling more accessible and more people are in it. As the result we more often hear stories about gambling addicts. If we calculate gambling addicts one by one - in online casino we will count more addicts. But if we compare percent of gambling addicts in online and offline casinos - i think it would would be the same.

Online gamblers are always prone to addiction because they gamble alone. In a typical offline casino, if you spend too much time there, other gamblers will begin to mock you, and such gambler will begin to limit how frequently he goes to the casino in order to avoid those conversations. However, in an online casino, no one will come to save you until you show signs of addiction, at which point a lot of harm has already been done.

Re: Gambling is for the strong Hearted

Setting a budget is very important to be able to control gambling activities well, because without these limits we can lose more money in gambling. But of course this is not something that is easy enough to do, especially in the long run. At certain times we can spend more money in gambling, such as on holidays or at the beginning of the month when we receive our salary. Well, that's when we really have to apply the limits that we have made, because believe me once we break these limits, the limits can be lost, and in the end we gamble without limits. Therefore, we must be able to respect all the rules and limits that we have made, and never violate them for any reason.

Setting limits and adhering to them are two different things. This is similar to creating a reading schedule; adhering to it is another matter. Gambling can be alluring, particularly for those who are desperate to win. The gambler finds it hard to stay within his budget because he starts to view every gambling session as a chance to win and recoup losses. When a gambler has money, it takes a lot of self-control to refrain from gambling.

Re: Your confidence or the available amount?
by

on 08/02/2025, 09:27:18 UTC
I do not always have confidence in the games I predict because, at the end of the day, confidence does not determine winning. You can be confident and stake a large sum of money and still lose, or you can be unsure of the outcome of the game and stake a small amount and win. To ensure that I do not worry about the result, I always set aside a certain amount for gambling.

I see many people here are missing the track of what the OP is trying to say, if you understand what the OP is tying to say towards my own direction, you know that the OP is trying to be bresf that, you don't have to spend years learning about BTC,just go for the right knowledge and the information that's all.

There are various crypto analysts who provide market information, but those analyses do not always produce the expected results, so while obtaining the necessary knowledge and information is important, it is not a guarantee that an investor will profit from the information. After all, different analysts provide different analyses on a particular cryptocurrency.

His assertion is hasty and demonstrates a lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency trading. Most traders, particularly novices, do not seek guidance before investing in cryptocurrency. Some coins introduced into the cryptocurrency market may become deadcoins, causing investors to lose money. This is always the source of people's anxiety about cryptocurrency. There is always a need for due diligence before investing to reduce risk. Traders should also be prepared to lose money because anything that brings profits can also bring losses.

Re: Save your money in a bank or invest in crypto market
by
DragonF
on 08/02/2025, 08:06:09 UTC
What I know is that, every innovations modifies the old structural development of an institutions as the purpose to everything is civilization, the case of crypto investment and banks is quite a new innovations just like postal office and emails bringing in new system of message delivery too. So it's nice embracing new innovations when it comes and be part of it.

Crypto serves multiple purposes, cross border transactions and investments (long and short term), Banks doesn't offer much other than savings with no increase in values, investing with low percentage rate for longer period but has limited amount which only favours the rich which is discrimination.

Yes, cryptocurrency has an advantage over traditional banking, which is why, aside from savings, every enlightened person has embraced cryptocurrency. As you mentioned, crypto has made cross-border transactions easier, which has eliminated the delay in such transactions. In terms of security, the amount of coins held is only known by the holder, as opposed to the banking system, where bank managers have easy access to a client's account.

Despite the fact that bitcoin's price is volatile, it has shown promise. Even when the value drops, it will eventually rise, and traders see this dip as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin and hodl. Most traders are more comfortable storing bitcoin than storing altcoins.

Re: What should a new beginner in crypto market do?
by
DragonF
on 08/02/2025, 05:41:47 UTC
As a new beginner in the crypto market here are some few things you should do.
-watch educational videos,YouTube channels like,Data dash, and crypto Tv.
-check websites like, coin telegraph and coin desk.
-understand  the cryptocurrencies and how they work.
-select a well established exchange like bybit, coinbase and binance,to buy and sell and store your cryptocurrencies
-create a secured wallet to store your cryptocurrencies, such as ledger, trezon and metamask.
-enable 2 factor authentication.
-begin with a small investment to get familiar with the market.
-define your investment goals, time horizon and risk management.
-understand the market volatility.
-set stop-loss orders.
-stay informed.
-join online communities.

These are important, as you noted, but I do not recommend self-learning. There is a need to trade under the supervision of an experienced trader. Watching educational videos, as you mentioned, is beneficial, but some of those videos may not capture current market trends, so it is always necessary to stay current by listening to crypto news and receiving directives from experienced traders, as I stated above.

All of the problems listed above are the result of the type of government we have. We are endowed with abundant natural resources, but these resources are exploited and the proceeds are used to serve the government's selfish interests. The money used to build their private houses is sufficient to solve all of the problems you mentioned.

Online gambling provides comfort, accessibility, and anonymity, which can entice a gambler into gambling unnecessarily, resulting in addiction. A gambler can easily fund his betting account, and as a result, such a gambler is likely to spend a significant amount of time gambling, gradually developing an addiction that is difficult to overcome because we are what we do constantly.

Re: crazy bets may pay off sometimes
by
DragonF
on 07/02/2025, 22:11:41 UTC
Without a doubt, making some crazy bets can pay off, but the chances are always slim, and it only happens once in a while. The irony of making crazy bets is that the gambler may grow tired of making crazy bets because he is losing and his finances suffer.

Gambling is better when you make a prediction with a high chance of winning. This does not guarantee a daily win, but the gambler may win more than a gambler hoping for his crazy bet to play.

Re: Anyone here brave enough to borrow money for gambling to fulfill their dreams?
by
DragonF
on 07/02/2025, 22:03:54 UTC
I am just having this thought: if we truly trust our gambling skills, then just like starting a business, we take risks because we believe we’ll succeed in the future. So, what if we’ve proven our strategy works, but we’re only betting small amounts and missing out on bigger opportunities? We might consider borrowing money to fast-track our success. Has anyone ever done that?

Living in the wonderland is pointless. We must confront reality. No strategy is proven and so it is very unwise for a gambler to go into borrowing simply because he has been lucky to win. Such a gambler will definitely lose and regret even conceiving such thought of going to borrow.

Re: What is your definition of gambling for fun?
by
DragonF
on 07/02/2025, 21:55:39 UTC
In actuality, I don't think there is any one who is gambling for fun. We frequently claim that we gamble for fun, but I wonder if those who say that they do so will still gamble if the bookies decide to eliminate the chance of winning after a certain amount of money has been wagered.

It goes without saying that some people do not panic because they bet with money they can afford to lose and can easily control their emotions when they lose. However, they are not necessarily happy when they lose just because they think they are gambling for fun.

Re: Is Gambling a scam
by
DragonF
on 04/02/2025, 22:04:32 UTC
Gambling is no scam because you are aware of what you are doing or game you are playing, in as much as there is an agreement by the two individuals or groups before starting the  game or bet it is not. But when you say scam ,the person is not aware of your intention .
Gambling is a game of try your luck ,a game of chance if you can win to make more money or valuables for yourself, getting rich quick.
You are right; gambling can only be said to be a scam if the person is gambling and does not know what gambling is in the first place or if the system turns to scam the person by providing an unfair result to the person. Let's use sports betting for instance, where you can place your bet and know the outcome of the game even before you check your bet result in the casino, or eventually the game result doesn't turn out to be the way it's supposed to in the sports event. That's why someone should accuse the system.

Yup, when things didn't went according to your expected outcome especially when you're done with your research, when you think that everything is moving according to how you expect but it turned against you when the outcome was announce, there are many rumors that circulate and the gambler who lost their bets surely thinks that they've been scam.

I do not think gambling is a scam. It would be extremely selfish for a gambler to believe that gambling is a scam only when he loses but then he gets paid when he wins. If a gambler is paid for his winnings, this cannot be considered a scam. I also know that there are scam betting websites that never pay out winnings. Only deposits are permitted, with no provision for withdrawal of winnings following deposits. Except in these cases, those who gamble on a reputable betting site cannot claim to have been scammed simply because they do not win. This is because, in most cases, a person who wagers any amount should be aware that it is a 50/50 chance that they will win or lose.

Re: How many casino are own by politicians
by
DragonF
on 04/02/2025, 21:53:34 UTC
Lately, politicians have not limited their activities to fighting for political offices and positions but rather have dived into so many other sectors such as interest in Tech and cryptocurrency as we have seen lately with some global leaders getting to the center stage in both tech and cryptocurrency.

My question is, do we have any notable casino that is been run or owned by any known politician like Trump or another leader?

In my opinion and knowledge, it would be rare or even illegal for a politician to own a casino in the gambling business industry. Or if there are other politicians who are protectors
of illegal casinos.

Or it could be that they own the casino but they use a different name so that it is not known that they are the owners of gambling. But I am not sure about this,
it is possible that other politicians do this.

Politicians can go into business to make more money, and most of their investments are not always registered in their names, so in the event of an investigation, the majority of those properties will not be confiscated. This is why, when most of these politicians are asked to declare their assets, they always decline because they are afraid of showing what they have to the world because what makes the office of government lucrative is the money they siphon, and there are kinds of properties that  a politician will own, it automatically proves that they siphoned public funds. So, while we may not be able to identify a casino owned by a politician, there are politicians who do own casinos, particularly those from Third World countries who are only concerned with fueling their flamboyant lifestyles.

I am beginning to think that the recent decision of the US government to stop the support of HIV patients in Nigeria is because of her alignment with China. We may be independent but we currently depend on China for so many things. In fact, it will not be out of place to say that China is our new colonial masters.

Re: Consequences of Trump stopping HIV funding for Naija
by
DragonF
on 04/02/2025, 20:35:34 UTC
Trump stopping HIV funding in Nigeria is really  concerning, though it shouldn’t be if only our government truly cared about its people. Nigeria has the capacity to fund HIV treatment, but we all know the reality of our system.

The unfortunate truth is that many lives will be lost to the virus due to a shortage of antiretroviral drugs for those living with HIV.
Now more than ever, everyone needs to be cautious. Here are some  ways HIV can be transmitted:

1:Blood transfusion from an infected person.
2:Unprotected sexual intercourse. Always use protection, no matter how much you want to get laid.
3: Sharing sharp objects like needles and syringes.
4: Mother to child transmission during pregnancy.
I pray our government will show compassion and step in to support those affected. Until then, everyone please stay safe!

You can find the News on vanguard! https://www.facebook.com/share/19x3ZYCxux/

I no hapi wen I hear the news but this thing suppose challenge our government to step up. Naija na independent countri and anything wey go undermine the image, reputable or sovereignty of our countri we suppose man up fight am. E go bad say we begin lose our people bcos of failure provide antiretroviral drugs. I wan the Ministry of Health to begin work on modalities on how to take cover the gap so that we no go feel the absence of US support.
