i have talked to ctd.pool.mn owner. I am giving him 10000000 catedoges. Though his and miners loss are bigger. But the bank is too small to compensate everyone.  Undecided I only premined only ~0.25% wish i'd mine a little more and could easily give everyone their lost coins.

I was the first posting about losing coins after upgrading wallet to version 1.3 and I didn't got any from you.

It was 1 400 000 CTD that I have lost ( I'm solo mining )

I know that 0.25% premined  isn't much in order to compensate this problems and you will not have enough coins to compensate everyone, so I don't mind if I don't get any

you were solo mining or pool?

Solo mining

will send you 1M coins  Smiley

Like I said earlier, I would appreciate if you send some in order to compensate my loss, but it's ok if you can't do it.

Here's my address > SPBoZfS3eRd8shU9QnndmCwTJ8aQbRYSMx

It's ok if you keep my coins for bounties or other bonus to grow this community  Wink

Thanks

you're also part of the community  Wink will send you soon.

Thanks for the coins  Smiley

I already spoke with the admin of ctd.pool.mn    He seemed very reasonable and is trying to compensate. I assume he is busy trying to fix some of the backend problems on the pool before he gets to doing that so i will give him the benefit of the doubt. It was just really disheartening to see 10 million coins disappear in front of your eyes.

How do I understand you...I have lost 1 400 000 CTD when upgrading my wallet and it was painful to see that happen...  Cry

I'm solo mining and have upgraded to version 1.3 and I have lost around 1 400 000 CTD... Any block after 13H GMT time are gone.

I've saved " wallet.dat " and past it on roaming folder but the result is the same...

What's happening?

everyone who has lost coins will be given a good amount of coins. Hold up.  Wink

If you can compensate some I would be very appreciated here's my address > SPBoZfS3eRd8shU9QnndmCwTJ8aQbRYSMx

I am just like you.   I have lost around  200 000 CTD.   Very bored

did your coins completely disappear from your wallet?

Yes....half of them already confirmed ( 700 000 CTD ) and the other half it was confirming with very few left to be confirmed.

This happened when I upgraded wallet's...

no worries. seems a. bit weird but i'll send you the coins  Smiley i hope this coin gets picked up by an exchange soon

This happened in my two wallets that I'm running.

Thanks for the coins you'll be sending, just wanted to check if there were some problem with wallet version or something else.

I know that when mining in different fork ( when a hard fork is made ) those coins will disappear but this is not the case because when I upgraded wallets we were around block 4000 and fork is at block 6000.

Sent some GRC about 8 hours ago... still nothing!

TX

Please somebody help

Are you running the latest version of GRC wallet? ( 2.0.5.0 )

This transaction was from the market
I'm even can'y find the blockchaine explorer, to see what happened

The blockchain explorer ( http://explorer.gridcoin.us/ ) doesn't have that option yet you need to use your wallet to do that.

What market did you use? Are they ( Exchanger ) using the latest wallet version? Are you using the latest wallet version?

I have not received PMs from Poloniex or allcrypt yet, I have no idea if they are running the newest version.  If they do not sync, PM me.

Rob

I have sent a ticket to Poloniex and Allcrypt asking if they are using latest wallets and if not to PM you.

Any suggestions for transactions that are stuck due to running one of the numerous wrong versions?  I have a users withdraw that is stuck since , most likely due to gridcoin.us having mismatched versions of software.

For the love of god if you are going to offer multiple download options please make sure they are all up to date.  I'm going to have to purchase some gridcoins so I can have my users continue with their trading and "hope" they send any extras back if their transactions actually go through.

You can see it here https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1331-new-coin-launch-announcement-grc-gridcoin/page-139#entry65933, Rob explaining that situation  Smiley

You can try to upgrade trough debug console of wallet running this command ---> grcrestarter upgrade

Am I missing something?

I'm sorry, from debug console the command it's only " upgrade "

The other command I speak about should be from command line " cmd "

Yes I'm sure it will work, but as I said I already downloaded the latest version.
Thank you very much for the help!

My pleasure, I'm glad that it's working now  Smiley

If you come in and act like a tool, be thankful that some people will actually treat you with any respect in addressing your posts.

I know I acted like a fool, just was really angry. Sorry about that!
Ok, could someone please help me solve the syncing issue?

I downloaded the latest version of the wallet.

I added these nodes in my .conf file:

addnode=71.233.139.62:9778
addnode=84.125.196.167:9778
addnode=98.114.181.178
addnode=76.187.184.27:9778
addnode=66.187.94.194:9778
addnode=76.74.177.224:9778
addnode=72.92.48.105:9778

I started the wallet and still can't sync. In this moment I have 0 active connection to Gridcoin network.

What's the client version you are running now?

v1.1.6.7-g71-prod

Have you done the download from gridcoin.us?

You need to delete the gridcoin folder at program files in your hard drive before making the new installation.

Now it's deleted, still 0 active connections...
BTW, I downloaded the portable version. (no installation)

You can try to upgrade trough debug console of wallet running this command ---> grcrestarter upgrade
