Really, business has less to do with ideas and more to do with execution. It doesn't matter how innovative your idea is. If you can't execute it well then it's meaningless.

Thanks for the links, however I run into another problem. With the mining_proxy,exe, I can't seem to get it to connect to the pool that I want. Can I not use my Cube to mine on pools other than bitcoin pools? I highly doubt that but I can't seem to get it working.

So I recently received an ASICMiner Block Erupter Cube that I ordered, and I can't seem to get it recognized by neither CGMiner nor BFGMiner. It needed a specific driver to be installed in order for it to be recognized, so I downloaded and installed it. However, neither CGMiner nor BFGMiner recognize it. Instead, they only recognize my NVidia GPU, which of course isn't ideal for mining.

Does anyone have one of these? And if so, how have you gotten it working? Apparently ASICMiner and all their wisdom decided not to include any sort of documentation -__-

So I've been thinking about how there's no central, go-to place to find mining pools for exclusively alt-coins. There may be such lists on other alt-coin forums, however I'd imagine a person who's relatively new to cryptocurrencies and mining may start here (why would they not? I remember I did). So I figured I may as well give a shot at making as comprehensive a list as possible. I know there are things to be filled in and probably many more pools to be added, but I just want to gauge interest first. Let me know what you guys think.

lol no it has nothing to do with that. They simply provide server hosting and whatnot. What you choose to do with the server is completely up to you.

I've been looking into this whole matter as well, and I think a good VPS is what you'd need. Considering the above response about running all those daemons and loading them into RAM, I think you should go for about 16 GB of RAM at least (IF you plan on supporting many, many coins). I know bitcoinwebhosting.net allows you to contact them and create your own custom plan, because there is no preset 16 GB RAM VPS with them. Also, youre gonna want DDOS protection, and they handle that as well. Just make sure you can handle the monthly expenses and hopefully make a profit.
