This was obviously dumped on newbies who bought in upon hearing of the burn. Earlybirds made a nice 3.5x or so, and while there's potential the burn will create a pump, who exactly are we expecting to buy in who hasn't already? I don't think panic selling is the answer though.

Everyone just enjoy this opportunity to increase your holdings for a fraction of this coin's true value while you can.
I agree that it's important to keep us updated on development, maybe let us know what percentage of the wallet/infrastructure work has been completed. But I think rushing to promote before the work is done runs the risk of giving a kind of vaporware impression. First and foremost the development has to be complete, or we'd just be promoting an idea with nothing to back it up. And in that case, the uninitiated would just as easily forget the franc and turn to bitcoin. Once the development is done, the coin's unique features will shine and a promotional campaign can be targeted at both people familiar with bitcoin and newcomers alike.

I agree, giving away free coins is a good gesture, a statement of intent to support the project, but 500 for each business might be a bit too much considering the coin's potential to climb.
Has the promotional campaign for Francs gone out yet? What is the update on the coins for every shop in France that accepts BitCoins, did anyone receive a pamphlet yet?
as I understand it, the promotional campaign will get going once the new wallet is released

Buy support is looking really good today. Almost doubled yesterday's price
Official NOMP[/center] At this point, 5 workers on this pool, great start !
Official pool have been modified. New parameters are ;
Payout time :10 minutes Minimum payout : 5 FRN Pool commission : 2,5%
The minimum payout was a bit too high for miners using their laptop. Many people who were mining from the wallet gave up because of this. Once we get a bit free time we'll redesign the pool. It obviously don't look very good right now.
I'll give you a quick update about the promo campaign later today. Thanks.
This is cool, I might start mining this coin myself
Last week we saw many big dumps on this coin. One day a total of 50k frn were dumped, which is a good percentage of the whole supply of this currency. Something really interesting happened, though. Even we had those huge dumps, once the price touched 1k satoshis it just never dipped under it (even on that 50k dump) and this goes on for like a week now.
This kind of support at 1k sats makes this coin a good buy at this price level. The only way is up we just need some patience
I think it's pretty likely that we'll see more money going into FRN as soon as a BTC correction happens
