Re: Never say die to Bitcoin

Quit Bitcoin and sell at your BTC at cheap today and regret later. The news coming from the governments are planned with the aim of creating FUD in potential investors because the governments are afraid of the power of decentralization. However, this power of decentralization cannot be stopped because it has already gained roots on the market as more and more people become familiar with the concepts and benefits of Bitcoin and the entire crypto.

Bitcoin is a benchmark in the cryptocurrency market, all altcoin prices are expressed in Bitcoin, as in the dollar.

Global regulators in the near future plan to develop measures to combat money laundering through digital assets, which will undoubtedly affect confidence in cryptocurrency, which has recently been declining, including due to mining profitability.

I hope this is not stripping competitors by large companies.

Re: Where can i purchase large quantity of bitcoins, and remain anonymous ?

Hello community, i wanted to ask that is there any place where i can buy large quantity of bitcoins like 15-20 bitcoins and remain anonymous at the same time. any help would be appreciated Smiley
It is about from 100K dollars. Roll Eyes

Such amounts by bank transfer, you can not buy ananimno, so you can buy only for cash.

Consequently, you can find a seller and buy for cash dollars at a meeting, but this is a risk greater than the purchase of cryptocurrency.

Re: Should there be that many cryptocurrencies that exists?
by

As of August 2018, there are over 1600 cryptocurrencies that exist, according to Wikipedia. I know that Wikipedia isn't the most reliable of sources because anyone can edit it whenever they want, but the point is the number of cryptocurrencies being introduced. Some of the new cryptocurrencies I've heard were DeepBrainChain, ByteCoin, IOST, and Elastos. There's also a new coin called Virie, which is apparently a cryptocurrency used to crowdfund and jumpstart the Virternity Project, a project that aims to digitized our minds, economy and the society. I believe that not all new coins aim to scam people, but do we really need more cryptocurrencies? Do we need new cryptocurrencies for every project that exists? Why can't there be one or five cryptocurrencies that all projects can use?

This is a natural cryptocurrency selection! Wink

Re: How can we stop Bitcoin's negative publicity?-Rebranding.
by

on 16/10/2018, 17:24:52 UTC
So I am subscribed to quite a few crypto news and general news websites; and one thing that frustrates me to no end is to see such negative publicity of this currency!
And I know most of the people are of the opinion that bitcoin doesn't really need publicity! But I think a little rebranding is very much needed to put bitcoin in the good light.Try to focus on the good things of it, its qualities, maybe it will help it to stabilize or something?
Whats your say on this?

They are trying to sway the market with negative news, manipulate Bitcoin prices, because stability is the enemy of the trader.

In many cases, useful information can be found in the Telegram groups.

For example, now Tether has recovered to almost $ 1.

Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?
by
Dukjila
on 15/10/2018, 14:23:27 UTC
Bitcoin BTC can be a currency only if its price is stable.
Not necessarily.  If I'm not mistaken, payment processors like Bitpay convert to fiat instantly so that there's no exchange rate risk for the merchant to deal with.  But volatility certainly does prevent businesses from actually accepting bitcoin (as opposed to bitcoin that's converted to fiat by the payment processor).  It obviously wouldn't be good for any merchant if they got a payment in bitcoin and then the price crashed shortly thereafter.

As far as what we can do to promote bitcoin as a currency, I'm not sure there is much the average person can do aside from lobbying businesses (especially the big ones like Amazon) to do so, and my guess is that a lot of them don't want to be associated with an anonymous currency that's frequently linked in the media to criminal operations like Silk Road and whatnot.

Also, there are a lot of us bitcoin enthusiasts who don't want to spend it on mundane items or services where fiat will do just fine.  Why run the risk of missing out on making a profit if bitcoin starts to take off just because you wanted to spend it on computer equipment at Newegg or something like that?  I've always seen bitcoin more as an investment that has properties of a currency, but I've never been a big fan of actually using it as money.  Thus I'm not concerned that most businesses don't accept bitcoin.  If it stays that way, I'd be totally fine with it.

I think that volatility in doing business entails a very big risk, so there should be price stability for Bitcoin.

Volatility is a profitable tool in the hands of a talented trader.

we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/
when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?
and honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin

I think the real reason why BTC prices fall is to manipulate the value of Bitcoin, since this greatly influenced the trust in Bitcoin.

Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government?

It is said that central banks plan to release their own curypto currency in some countries, for example Japan..

How do you think about these crypto?
Some countries have existed e-money of the Central Bank for decades.

I think that the possibility of Central Banks to replace this money with a cryptocurrency, which will have even more functionality than cash, and, very importantly, will exist on the basis of a “separate operating structure”, is already being considered.

Re: Downsides to crypto
by

If and when cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin becomes the official currency of the world, do you think there will be a downside to it? If so, what do you think the negative effect will be once cryptocurrency becomes a worldwide currency?
In fact, even now there is no world currency, because no country ever recognizes world currency.

This is due to the fact that currencies, that is, money, are always closely connected with the government and the economy of individual states.

To create a world currency will have to destroy this barrier.

Re: What do you Think the True Value of Bitcoin Is?
by
Dukjila
on 05/10/2018, 08:05:20 UTC
In December the price of Bitcoin was near $20,000. Today, the price hovers around $6,500.

Which is the real value? Do you think the market is telling us the Truth?

We must understand that the launch of the CME's Bitcoin futures contracts and subsequent rise and fall of Bitcoin was not a coincidence.

The implementation of futures contracts on gold and silver have had similar effects. One needs to only wonder why was the launch of gold futures contracts was implemented at the same time the Gold Reserve Act was completely repealed. Americans were allowed to own gold again on January 1, 1975. Comex gold futures launched in December of 1974.

https://www.sunshineprofits.com/gold-silver/dictionary/comex-gold/

*Also, a Wikileaks document shows direct intent to suppress the price of gold:

https://wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/1974LONDON16154_b.html

I would beg any who are interested or invested in cryptocurrency to please do more research on the topic of price manipulation - you should come to the realization that the price in fiat of these assets does not matter, simply because it is inaccurate.

If you understand the banking system in the U.S. and understand that Gold, Silver and Bitcoin have true, intrinsic and persisting value you will understand the motive and that without question these assets are manipulated.

What is the true price of Bitcoin? $20,000? $6,500? I do not know.

What I do know is that it is worth more than the intrinsically worthless U.S. dollar we force ourselves to use on a daily basis, so I will be buying as much as I can while the price is this low.

I believe the price of a Bitcoin is much higher than $20,000 - but we may be in for a long while of manipulation before we see it again.

The best we can do is to buy as much as we can to make it as difficult as possible for the price to be suppressed. Once they lose control.....to quote all the Redditors and memes - "Then Moon."
There is no fixed cost Bitcoin, because the value is formed by investors, based on trust in Bitcoin.

The more trust - the more price!

Re: TIPS to be come victorious in bitcoin
by

My suggestion to everyone would be to be calmed, don't be greedy, have a patience in everything. Success will definitely touch your feet, never ever quit. Bitcoin's price is always volatile, as we see it's dump price and the market is red, never lose hope.

Always remember this one " He who quits does not succeed, he who succeeds does not quit".
You probably wanted to say: Buy when everyone is afraid, and sell when everyone is greedy.  Wink

This principle is known to many, but only a few use it in practice.

And most people act absolutely opposite and only a couple of illustrative examples show that emotional behavior in the market only leads to losses. Undecided
