Bitcoin DOES have value, just like the dollar does. We give it value, are you dense? If many people say "yes, this is worth money" we give it value. THATS how it works. So that's a horrible first point. The government wont ban it because it CANT. It may become discouraged, but they cant ban it. How would they even do that.
We could totally make awesome Bitcoin accepting stands
Lets all go buy some lemons, make some lemonade, make a little sign next to the road and our stand that says "Lemonade sold here: Bitcoin accepted!" even if they dont buy any they then have heard of bitcoin, and thus we can get more people to use bitcoin, and business owners will see even little lemonade stands accepting bitcoin, and they should to!

Now if this doesn't get people into cryptos I don't know what will. I make budget physical bitcoins and I do everything I can with my profits to get people involved. Hell get me lots of downloads and reviews and I might get my money back. I know I never will but I know I will get a few into cryptos

So I have been mining on slush's pool for a while now, and my confirmed balance is 0.00000044. It has not been sent to my wallet, and im assuming that its because its such a small amount. What is the minimum amount of confirmed money you need to have it sent to your wallet?

That actually sounds like it would be really fun, but insanely difficult to implement. What mods right now allow point based systems?
Also you might want to charge everyone a small monthly fee or even a once time at least in the beginning to get started. Just to have a fund pool to work off of. It can be something small like 0.5BTC or something.

Reselling Humble Bundle games is generally disapproved of as the bundles are intended for personal use only (though gifting is fine) and the proceeds benefit charity, so you may not get many buyers. I found this out when I tried to sell a few of mine, but that was quite a while ago so YMMV.
However, I've bought a few keys from people in the past (and many more bundles directly; I enjoy the games, and the organizations they choose to donate to are definitely worth supporting), so you never know.

Sounds great, thanks! i'm just a kid but im getting a job next summer, ill keep that in mind! Faucets is probably the worse way you can "earn" a little bit of bitcoin. Anything else using your computer's computing power (you mentioned keeping your browser open) is also a bad idea because as CPU mining has been unprofitable for over 18 months now.
If you have any kind of coding or similar computer skills I would recommend going to the marketplace subforum (services child board) to try to find some kind of work that you can do for bitcoin.

Well i'm pretty new to Bitcoins, and of course I thought to go straight to the faucets. Those were fun for a while, but now i'm looking for a way to make actual money. Is there a site where you just keep your browser open and they can use power from your computer to mine? Or a way to sell virtual things for Bitcoins, or some way of making money in Bitcoins other than mining and faucets? Because I have a rather low-end computer, I can't mine for profit (although I do mine for fun)
I got a micro wallet to hold the small amount of Satoshi that Moon Bitcoin is generating for me (i know it isnt practical, im just learning) but my micro wallet says that I should use the recommended amount for transfers, which is 100365 Satoshi. The other amount available is 5825. Is there a reason I shouldn't use the lower one? Or is it just because it's more tedious? Please help me!
Its also better for you. Each withdrawal cost you 365 satoshi (that's eaqual to around 6 % fee when you withdraw 5825).
Second reason is mentioned above, it's not good to have dozens of small transactions in one address, you could have issues with high fees when you want to send them.

Is the 365 satoshi a set number, or is the 6% a set percent? In other words, if i withdraw 100,000 satoshi will I pay a fee of 365, or a fee of 6% of 100,000?

Hello! I have only been involved with Bitcoin for about a week now, and someone on the forums said a good way to get some quick bitcoin cash is to go to sites like BitVisitor. But after about 4 offers, I am only getting 0.1 instead of the normal 0.8 (im not sure what it is... satoshi maybe? again, im new) is this an error on my part or is that just how the site works? please help!
