2) What does that even mean? That you knew at least a week ago that you'll not be able to ship on the 18th but decided to playing dumb?

Enter the setup mode. Without a jumper, it starts in a normal mode. If the jumper is set, it starts in the setup mode.
Thanks I saw it on another video.
Is the chinese factory in time ?
I'll find out tomorrow. In China, the national holiday is now and all doing wrong  Angry

It's only the "dragon boat festival" day, one day off, period. National day (and one week holidays) is in early october.

2all:
The goods are sold and we temporarily hid the online store. Because many people write letters with the question "how can we buy this" and it's distracting.
The video on the YouTube channel will also be hidden for the same reason.
Do not worry, we are here and have not gone anywhere.
There is a slight delay in the factory. The Dragon Boat Festival was last week. Now we are trying to find out the delay with our Chinese partners.

The goods are sold, why leave the live store?
Or do you still call this our "web page"?  Roll Eyes

Videos will probably be hidden too, because a lot of people write to the e-mail the question of how they can buy it.

I can not answer for sure. If there are willing.

I want to hope the factory will make order on time. So far, we have not received confirmation yet.

Hello everybody! Because orders continue to arrive by e-mail, we will temporarily hide our videos on youtube. If you have not made a copy yet, you have this chance Wink

--I didn't think they could get boards soldered up so fast! Will people have to run an app to load to board (like other FPGA's) or are they preconfigured and you just add power+network+vga?
Our partner in China will download firmware and pack products to boxes. From the factory we will receive boards in bags.

--if you use them (it{the thing}) for yourself... why the heck the network speed continue to drop down? no clue of 5k fpga working Cheesy
Sometimes the stupidity of people amazes me.

--When you "calculate" your risk based on the words of some anonymous dude/gal on an internet forum - that's not risk, that's charity.
All here are "some anonymous dude". You too.

--I think at the end that the seller will laugh at all of the people who bought it.
we refused to buy many people for various reasons - delivery problems, payment problems. For large orders, we took only the percentage of prepayment. There were people who bought 250 pieces, and we took only a few percent of the prepayment. Although they were willing to pay 50% or more. If we wanted to laugh, we would take everything. Is not it?

In the previous post and email you said your manufactures in China. Right I am in China, please give me a address in any city. I can go to see your prototype.  Wink But I don't think you would show me the prototype face-to-face..
Because in a short time we will see many, many clones of our board? Wink

Hello everybody!

Today we finished sales!

All who received the bill have 48 hours to pay. Unpaid goods will be distributed among devs.

We are waiting for confirmation from the factory the batch is ready. Then the goods will be packed and sent to customers.

--Is a cable for power supply included? In the movie, things connecting to peripherals were used. Do I need to make it by myself if I do not belong? Then tell me how to make it.
The adapter cable comes with each one, but it's much easier to cut the wires and clamp under the bolt.

--to shunt the PSU connector to start it up if you are not using enough cards
In any case, you need to pull down the PSU contact to the GND. Without this, the power supply (ATX type) will not turn on.
You can make it directly or through the connector on the board.

--No, is your chip an ASIC?
This is a MCM of our design.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-chip_module

--Has a similar look to the chip on their eval board
This is a standard case. Many chips are produced in it.

--1.  There appears to be 2 cables coming out of the right side of the monitor.  Leads me to believe that the video source isn't really that board.
--2.  Why the hell does that board have a vga port to begin with?  Seems rather odd considering the video displayed looks like an 8-bit nintendo and provides little information.
If there is another cable, why make an 8-bit video?

--4.  In the other video he used an ipad that we couldn't see very well as "proof"  Why couldn't he have just mirrored the display like he did in this video where he was showing the config?
Then you would say that this video is mounted.

--5.  The LED lights on the network port aren't even lit up or blinking!  That network cable isn't even plugged into anything.
Approximately every five pages I explain - not all connectors have LEDs. Compact connectors do not have LEDs.

--LOL indeed the LAN port lights is not even working.
LOL Not all know super secret technologies https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=1-406541-1
We seriously think about making a blue backlight in the next version. Now we understand why the GPU looks like Christmas trees.
Nada nos pertenece en propiedad más que nuestros propios sueños...

-- why you dont use it for you and all profit will go to your wallate Huh
we use it for ourselves too.

--What is purpose of the PSU terminal that isn’t being used on the power supply plug?
Starting the power supply. My PSU has a jumper and does not need it.

--If you look at this pic:  https://dwarfminer.webasyst.cloud/wa-data/public/site/img/6-2.jpg  you can see the psu power cable goes out the left side.
Consumption of one miner in idle mode is too small and the power supply does not start. You can see the hard drive behind the power supply. It creates a load.
With two miners and more such a problem is not actual. Also helps to turn on the fan, LED lighting or other loads.

--Still bizarre that there are a bunch of other unneeded led lights on the board (voltage indicator?!?!) but not anything to show network traffic.
The power indicator shows the correct power supply. The load indicator shows how much the chip is loaded.
Why look at network traffic if you see this in a pool page? Installing a connector with indicators would increase the width of the board.

--Can this be configured for static IP or does it use DHCP only??
DHCP only at now...

--They say: we can't show our product because people will copy it.
--Thats nearly impossible because you need the exact same electronics and code for the chip.
It is easy to calculate who made the chip and order a clone from him.

--It's another bullshit because everyone can do it on ebay and if your product is legitimate you can set it on Ali.
If you plan big sales, you must register as a resident. Or you can use easty :-)

--They must be releasing the orders of people who didn't send payment yet? I saw 47 remaining on the order page... then 93... now 51?
If the buyer does not pay the goods on time, it returns to the store. Now there are few pieces of goods and these fluctuations are more noticeable.
About half of the orders are not paid. Yesterday we refused to buy some buyers, today 60 items were defrozen...
We have 500 units reserve for such a case and for case of replacement of defective ones.

--Could you clarify that these mysterious cables are seen on the right of the screen in the videos?
These are the power cables. The AC socket is on the right.
On the first video, it is pulled directly. On the second video it dives under the table. Videos was shot at different times.

--If the NiceHash CNV7 pool works, that would be a great start!
NiceHash pool works fine.

--I will admit I think its a little weird that they are doing a pre-order if they don't need the money!
We derive some sums in crypt. But most of the payments go through the bank.
And yes, the whole batch was prepaid.

--tin foil hat on I thought the domain was a little odd since its a sub domain
This is NOT a domain. This is online store service. What sense to reinvent the wheel again?
But it's very logical to draw up a bank account, paypal, board production and all this anonymously. But the domain can not be bought anonymously. Domain is our excalibur. The highest guarantee of reliability.

--Dwarfminer, how are you able to extract 7Kh/s out of that little chip at 10W, when the guys over in the other thread can only get 14KH @ 150W out of a full blown, $3500 Xilinx FPGA?
The Xilinx chip was designed specifically for mining?

--If I were you, I'd produce 1000 and run them myself and just dump whatever I mine to make a shit ton of $$$$.
1300 was distributed to the developers, do not worry.
Some of them were sold in bulk.
Some were paid, then buyers asked for a refund and it was sold again.
In reality, we sold even more than 5000.

--What they mean to say is orders that were tied up in the PayPal freezing issue that haven't paid using other methods have been put back up on the store
yep! But now less than a hundred is available already.

--We should compare if the original paypal requested address matches the currently "unlocked" one for starts....
Our PayPal account has never been blocked. He is tied to our e-mail which everyone knows here.
This is not a reliable payment system, no more.

--100$ for delivery (0.5 kg) - too expensive IMO. Bitmain sends L3+ (4.4 kg) with PSU (3 kg) to me via DHL (3 days) for 180$
Bitmain has corporate discounts. To compensate for postage and risks, we offer our discount.

--sounds too good to be true, at 315€ even more so.
450 without discount (available only for the first batch)

--You'd be selling these like hot cakes if you just get one of us one of these Dwarf boards so we can legitimately
3,700 pieces were sold in 11 days. It's not like hot cakes? Wink

--I'm not sure. UPS CN->France for 1Kg is 700+RMB (around 90€) 4 days
If you have large volumes of production/sending, you can buy postal batches cheepest.

Hello everybody! After unfreezing paypal, about 300 devices were released. These are now available in the store.

--And who are the US programmers? They should be able to easily comment on this thread with more specifics to put potential buyers at ease
All technical questions are redirected to them.

--New version ?
We are developing a more efficient version. But it can be ready by the end of the year.

--why don't you send those previous versions around to forum members?
To advertise a poor-quality product?..

Hi 4all!

--I did contact you through e-mail on the 2nd of June and have not gotten a response.
We checked the spam folder and actually found a few emails.

--So it cannot be that you have responded to all e-mails already. And no I don't want you to spread out the PCBs on the floor, but you could just show us the open box so we see that there are a bunch more in there?!
Our colleague in China is a bad photographer. I'm ready to agree.

--Can you please provide proof that you actually have hair. I want to make sure this offer is legit.
Hair should prove that they grow Wink I want an online camera!

Prove that this is not an actor!

--You said they all have the same static ip?
Only in the setup mode. In the operating mode everything is typical.

--Like who are the devs/manager?
Nicolas Garcia -- inspirer of the project from Madrid. We have a team of developers from the US, Spain and Ukraine. And also a group of investors.

--Why this is rev. 2.3? Where are previous versions?
In the garbage box Smiley
Several versions have been developed, so, we have achieved stable operation on rev.2.

--Anyone who is following the FPGA story in the other threads have a decent understanding that these things are not cheap.
Maybe they all knock on the closed door?

--To hide the soldering path...But once the unit is released (if it is released) everything will be know so I don't see the point
The time for reverse design will be lost. We will release a new version earlier than the old version will be copyed.

--What is the purpose of individual addresses for each order?
To avoid confusion between buyers. The amount is almost the same for all.
Then, not everyone wants others to see his transactions.

--Aaaaand, it's sold out - or the store at least says 0 in stock.
Paypal orders should be unfreezed soon. This will give an small inflow of goods.
