I mean, i might not agree with it, but it seems like a case of "My roof, my rules" but of internet... so get your own and then you can make the rules... or pay for half of your dads connection and tell him to give you the passwords...
Actually that was my solution (but I'll give you the credit )

Re: bitcoin related websites are being blocked by my dad!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
If this was my situation, I would react naturally...
..and start blocking all the sites my dad visits.
LOLOL only IF I had the password.. would I manage that. I'm sure I could brute force though he would know immediately. by the way the problem has been 'solved' (i think).
OH!!!!! I'll buy a WiFi Pineapple Mark IV and pretend to be his router and then I'll block all the sites he visits! I may be able to do it off the command-line, not sure -- never tried. But that's going a long way to be only a little bit nefarious don't you think?

Re: bitcoin related websites are being blocked by my dad!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
try proxy programs. hidemyass etc and use your provider to access the forum. i don't think btc clients (wallets) will be affected by the block
I read somewhere that hidemyass was bought by the FBI, NSA or something to do with the government of the United States of America
I'm fine with Tor but then again some of the proxies are being monitored by government organizations (and that's not coming from me that's from a tech show I watch)

My dad is blocking bitcoin related websites. WHY??
Maybe he doesn't know about BitcoinTalk.org forum. Maybe you can post there?
Oh he's blocked this website too I'm just using an unsecured network. I don't know the legality of doing so but I think it has been assigned to be an open network for 'guests' and guests/basement suite renters.
Scary thing is I don't know how secure it is to be connected to this network... I mean there could be potential hackers doing some packet sniffing for passwords and such.
