I just accidentally sent 1,252.5 EAC to address efL6y12LFsp9hrAZxJû1t5cgjSRSXw9EG because the address was entered in my account when the pool http://eac.us.hackshard.com/ back.. I want my eac back!!!

My address: epHBzkeHr9e1CyR9WH1Sp8UHiJ4eAP47Lu
I sent you 2000 EAC last night because people make mistakes. I am not the owner of the address you sent EAC to but I know how much that must have sucked. .  Let that be a lesson to always double check your transfers!

Howdy folks, New to this coinage stuff... shocker, I know, being a new guy n stuff. but I've got some world coins and I'm interested in how i might pay off my house trading coin.
That is a very ambitious feat.  I'd recommend reading "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham.  That may help knock some sense into you! ha

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

People don't understand money either; those that do have to study for more than a paragraph.

Replace "money" with Bitcoin.

I think this T-shirt is the best description of what we consider Bitcoin right now.  However, I have also heard that Bitcoin has myriad applications.  And it's like saying that Bitcoin's value is that it can be transferred quickly and at low cost.  To use a comparison it's like saying the purpose of the internet is for email.  We all know that is ridiculous but did we 15 years ago?.. Perhaps this is something similar.

I'd have to say that Litecoin is a good option.  People will start looking for the "next best thing" and Litecoin seems to be the most known other crypto currency.  Although Doge and Coinye may change that... but they do come across as jokes.  So Litecoin seems like a good option.

However, if you are considering a bit more long term (in which I mean 1-3 years) I'd consider looking into Earthcoin (EAC).  You can probably tell I am a proponent of that by my name but that is because I think the development team and community are going to make this coin a competitor in the crypto market.

Just my 2 sat.

If you are just looking to purchase Bitcoin, I'd probably go with Coinbase.  They are based out of SF and are very transparent about their operations.
They do charge a fee for transactions, but if security is what you want, I'd probably go with them.

Otherwise mtgox and btc-e seem like relatively reputable sites.
