Dear community,

Due the current situation we have decided to put Tellurium network on  "pause", allowing us to focus all our efforts on a new code for our project.

The meaning of pause, is we will keep the blockchain  for future use and perform a SWAP on the stored coins of our members. Unfortunately since the first attack our network and service operators are under constant attack, therefore there is no longer access to Tellurium services. Members  holding  wallets are requested, for better security to back up your keys and seeds, as these wallets will be used in a future to perform the swap.

Miners, please move your hash power to other coins, our mining pools are under full shutdown procedure.

Discord Channel will remain open and Tellurium for discussions, consensus debates and further development.

Please cancel all orders in the trade platforms. FCB and TradeCX exchanges will be contacted to assist them in the transfers as well, we will inform further on the situation.

To the code seekers and license preachers, our code has been deleted from public servers and no longer exists, bravo!

During this short period of time Tellurium team and I had the incredible opportunity to meet great good humans as well as some not good. Tellurium was never seeking fights and wars, however others around us were seeking to cause harm and destruction. Dear Tellurium members,

As we told you previously, The Tellurium network was the victim of multiple attacks. This was possible due a vulnerability we discovered in our base-code.
Our team took the steps necessary to protect our members coins and to ensure the safety of the blockchain Therefore, it was decided to close the network gates (ports) and close the network to run in private mode.
A fork on the emissions was done at height 47500 (during the attacks) to reduce the amount of coins that could be compromised. Please note the emissions fork was planned in the future for economic and financial reasons, this situation only accelerated our timeline. Unfortunately during the attack the blockchain got corrupted from height 47261 to 47520 and we were forced to hard-code the related blocks to be excluded from our network. The invalid blocks are dead blocks, burned coins. Nor like others, we did not rewind-ed our blockchain at any point.

The good news!

No other coins were lost and all payments since the attack are valid.
Also we had prepared and tested during the last few days a HOT-FIX:  Pre-compiled binaries for our members to download and proceed with accessing their coins. The following steps are necessary to secure your coins security and help to spread a strong decentralized network again among our community and partners.


Please follow these steps:
1 - Delete all your old software
2 - Delete all Tellurium DB folders
3 - Download the new software
4 - Sync your node back to our network from block 1
5 - Connect and sync-reset wallet from block 0

Community members and partners you are requested to proceed with the same steps in order to restore your services to full operation with our network, No EXCEPTIONS!

NOTE: The use of old DB and/or Software might lead to a complete loss of your coins and we will not be help responsible for your losses.
Our team had and will take measures to avoid any attempt to connect obsolete and incompatible software back to our network. You have been Warned!
The code will remain private for security purposes and to perform further checks, the more nodes the community deploys, the faster it will be released back to the public.

Tellurium was under a relentless attack for the period of 5 days in a row, our community operators were mostly the target as Tellurium itself does not hold any official and self services of it's own at this stages. Our operators fought back showing incredible skills and accuracy maneuvering in real time and providing immediate action, however the hashing power, time and efforts invested by the criminal where quite large.Leaving the network alive during the criminal activity, gave us the opportunity to learn more on the attackers and on the attack it self, this was a crucial decision in order to enrich our knowledge and enforce our network security.

Not only the blockchain was attacked but our servers and network infrastructures were attacked. This analysis take time and efforts which is why we are less active on DIscord channels, nevertheless have no doubt we are working on several different resolutions as for the present a future to come. This done by the Tellurium team and the good angels we found along this adventure we all are experiencing.
