Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more?

Everyone is entitled to do whatever they seem right. On the other side I don't consider a decision to sell now to be a smart one.

Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs !

BTC can not be less stable than the all the other outcomes when it is a base for all the rest. Everything that is happening to BTC has a huge impact on the rest of the market, it is inevitable.

Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 23/12/2018, 16:37:23 UTC
I don't think that anyone who bought at the paek held to it until now. If I were them, I would have sold it when it droped to 15k or 10k. What was the point of keeping it after that when you invested almost 20k. All the people that invested in it when the price was 20k were traders and not crypto enthusiasts. The market became popular, people thought that only the sky was the limit and that was the reason behind their entering the game at 20k, no more than that.

Re: What Do You Expect From The Market in 2019?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 22/12/2018, 13:32:25 UTC
I don't think that 2019. will bring any enormous rise for BTC. I expect stabile growth that will bring us to the price of around 6 or 7k by the summer. My believes are that 2019. will be the year of recuperating and preparing for the 2020.

I don't think it will fall drastically any more, we may expect it to oscillate around 3k. Also, I don't have any high hopes that any recovery will be notified any time soon. Not before the February next year.

Re: Is regulation good or bad?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 17/12/2018, 11:05:55 UTC
Regulation will be good in a way that it will result to mass adoption and a simple man will feel more comfortable to learn about it and finally start using it. However, BTC will probably lose part of its supporters that are using it exactly because of its anonymity feature and the possibility not to depend on the government and all standard money flows.

You should check Cardano, Neo, BTCN, XRP. These coins show stability and progress and they all have extremly low prices due to the current situation.

Re: Government sanctions on Bitcoin - What impact will they have?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 15/12/2018, 08:35:17 UTC
As a political news, this probably doesn't have a positive impact on BTC but I don't think that it will drastically make any change or influence it anyway. Bitcoin protocol is censorship proof, this is a benefit. But in a way, I believe that it is one of the reasons why BTC is not globally governmental accepted and it will probably never be. They will not take chances with anything they cannot control and look into at any point.

There is no room for panic after all that we have been through in the last couple of months. If you held on until now, what possible explanation could you have to sell your coins now?

Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business??

How can you adopt and use something as a payment method when its value fluctuates in the matter of second? How would this affect profits, payments and complete balance of any company? Plus the anonymity and lack of any regularity and government support. Too risky.

Re: it's time to buy altcoins

My first choice and big expectation for the next year is ETH, and XRP is always a good chioce for quick turnaround. Plus, I am always looking for a new project to support and the one that recently started and I am currently monitoring has a great potential with really committed and driven developing team, BTCN. The coin already reached a couple of credible exchanges and its capitalisation and community support shows steady growth. The coin is showing great potential.

Re: This why you shouldn't be worried
by

Volatility is shown in the sudden drops, but also sudden rises. But now one is worried when the price is hitting the rooftop. The current drop correlates with the movement that BTC had in the past, so no big surprise there. It is scary when we don't know when will the drop stop.

Re: Will BTC Bull after Christmas?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 09/12/2018, 21:04:54 UTC
I expect a bull run by the end of January, I don't think that Christmas will bring any miracle. The way I see it, is that we will have ups and downs between 3k to 5k until the end of the year and then some mid January may show some steady slow growth but not before that.

Re: Do you buy new coins?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 08/12/2018, 21:58:53 UTC
I am buying, this is a good moment for you to enter the game. I would advise you to make your own research and create a plan about the investment that you are going to make. I have a portfolio, that is the best way to minimizes your loses and make sure that this is worth a while for you. I strongly believe that CMC is a good pointer when it comes to making a decision about your investment. According to major opinions and speculations, ETH will be the star of 2019 and I agree with it. So, if you wish to play it safe, choose coins from top 10 or 20 CMC list, as I said, my choice is ETH. And also, if you are looking for a long term investment and you are interested in new projects and possibilities, BTCN is my choice. Make sure to monitor the project, the marketing and the transparency of the project, names behind the idea etc. Also, BTCN already reached CMC and it is being actively supported by its community which is always a good sign.

Re: Do not worry about the future of Bitcoin! It is just beginning
by
ETHAppCoin
on 07/12/2018, 21:00:17 UTC
This is the youngest market, we have the possibility to participate in, give it a time. Bitcoin's importance is more than the possibility to make 20k out of it as some of us did. Block chain technology offers a different perspective in data transfer and it is a revolutionary concept that is the assurance about BTC's future. It is just the beginning, I expect that it will grow more than just through the price. The acceptability and penetration are equally important. I have heard about the possibility that Central Banks will build their coins and join the market this way. And this is only the newest speculation, who knows what else can we expect in the next decade.

Re: seling or holding your altcoin ?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 06/12/2018, 20:46:29 UTC
All the predictions show that the price of the BTC will go down to 2k before it starts rising again. But that is not the reason to drop everything so that you can cut your losses. I know that it sounds unreasonable, but the price will go up again and I will take the moment as a good chance for the new investors and new projects. So, if you are thinking about selling the coins that you have kept until now, don't. If you are new into all of this, this is your moment, join, check it out, research and get your piece of the cake. Make your portfolio, a select couple of them and get going. My advice always is to give a chance to one new project plus to invest and in one sure thing from the 20-50 list. Or even above, first 10 or 20, depends on how much money are you willing to invest. My choices now are ETH and BTCN. BTCN is the new coin with great project and the team behind the idea and steadily growing community. And ETH is yet to show his potential in my opinion.

Re: Don't quit investing
by

The drop of the price is something that happened before and the is something that you can expect in the market as volatile and this one. No one expects the fall this low, but it happened. What can we do? Continue because scripts are here to stay and BTC opened the door to a lot new and quality projects that should be given a chance to. I have a role that I never keep my eggs in the same basket so I always search for new projects to invest too. My current occupation is ETH and BTCN, so I have one stable investment and one potential that can develop into something great. BTCN offers an interesting project that their team strongly believes in and they all ready have a growing community to back them up. I am keeping away from Bitcoin at the moment and giving a shot to others. We can expect new surprises in the spring.

Re: Don't Lose Hope Just Yet
by

Just hold our bitcoins, it seems that the chart of the bitcoin is now in the introduction growth again. In the past days, the bitcoin has now support and resistance. It seems that it is now the beginning of the bull market.

I agree with this statement. We are entering a bull market slowly. Nevertheless, we should all keep calm and patient for a while because the growth will not be as fast as it was in the past. Holidays and the period ahead of us will probably be a good injection to the value, but I don't expect any strong growth and steady situation before the end of the first quartile of the next year.

That is why new projects should focus on technology used to build a coin. Maybe this is a good approach and something that they should work on in the future. To make the process easily accessible to the masses. Plus any kind of special mining device is a good product to work on. Amazon Kindle for mining  Grin

Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency?
by
ETHAppCoin
on 29/11/2018, 21:32:51 UTC
A bank cannot accept crypto because the system that was used to build cryptocurrency is opposite of the core of the banking system. One of the points of crypto is to provide decentralized system opposite to the centralised banking system. To prevent major crashes and the huge impact by decentralising it. Banks see the blockchain as their competition and potential acceptance and involvement of the cryptocurrencies by the governments may be threatening to the banks. I believe that all smart and progressive nations will make a balance between these two. Letting crypto currencies have their role, but keeping to the core of the standard and centralised banking system. Maybe banks will adjust as well and involve cryptos in their business.
