It seems that all the hacked funds will be returned to their owners. This is whatever I read at twitter through some shared posts. The claim that they secured the funds and will transfer sooner to these campaigns owners. We can not do anything except waiting for next updates. For this address yes, but not for the other address which Yani mentioned. The one to which the AE funds of 82 K ETH have been gone, they are lost, as long the Black Hat Hacker would send it back.
Or does anybody know a way to get such funds back from black hat hackers? Zack Hess says no on twitter.

Here is an update:
1. We have lost 1/3 of all ETH. This will not stop us building æternity! We might cut some programs that are not essential to development and may need to attract support in the future, but that will be way after mainnet launch. Everyone will get their AE tokens, 100%.
2. There is a proposal for "socializing the losses" between all projects that could have been affected if the White Hat team did not save them and the hardest hit projects (one of which is aeternity). READ MORE
3. Hacker(s) are trying to move the funds through Changelly. We are in contact with the Changelly team. READ MORE
Yanislav and Marion are in meetings all day. Once we have more info, we will share.

I see some very good point raised here. Contrary to what some people believe, we are working quite hard to build up the dev team and have the AE testnet/pre-mainnet running. It is important to have it so apps can be built on top by our commencing incubator program (which is also something being worked on currently).
The above are just examples of the different processes that we are currently engaged in and how they are interlinked. There are numerous others.
Please have in mind that we are trying to make aetenrity a success and take the right decisions on the path there. The team has been in crypto for years now and we believe in the blockchain vision. We want to change the world and make our community part of that success.
Earl mentioned that aeternity is OUR project (the community) and he is 100% correct.
Repeating and constantly asking "Where is our AE token" does not help at all.
Deliberating on the consequences of doing so is more valuable. I wanted to learn what you, the community here at Bitcointalk, thinks is best.
As far as I can see there are the "I want my AE token now" and the "Maybe it is not a good time".
I will communicate this to team.

Hi Vlad,
I am totally with you. I invested in Aeternity right after I heard of it and so far I haven't invested in any other ICO, cause before I would so I prefer to invest more in AE later on.
And I invested in Aeternity cause I do not only trust in your vision, moreover in you experts that this visions will come true through you. So for example how can so much people critisize people like Zack who already proved their skills?
However, concerning the Tokens... again, if your team thinks it would be bad for the project, please let the distribution be till time is right. To be honest, I also like to have some extra money to pay some debts
, but most of all, I want this all to be the biggest possible success on long term.CAUSE THAT'S WHY I INVESTED, AND EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE DONE FOR THE SAME REASON.
When we keep calm and think big, the vision turns into reality.

At the moment I would like to propose 2 good szenarios:
1. Release the ERC20 Tokens on 27 july 2017 by announcing it on 20 july 2017 at the latest (including exchanges, at least kraken).
2. (Specially if Mainnet launch may already comes till 31 october 2017) wait till mainnet launch. In this case please announce it as well then, if possible.
But one thing shall keep in mind no matter what will be done, the safekeeping of a successfull running of OUR Aeternity project(s!) MUST HAVE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY!
The experts of Aeternity with Yani at its top will know when and what to do. I mean, if you follow up the different channels, it is clear to see, that they are not slow, but moreover impressively quick, so I would not wonder if mainnet would run till october 31st this year.
Of course, please comment more, but please not hystericly, so we all can get a better pic of what the most contributors want and how Aeternity Team acts.

I am interested in learning your opinion on the AE distribution.
It is obvious that everyone wants the AE, but don't you think the timing is not good for distribution (I know some of you do)?

Hi Vlad,
Sounds intelligent to think about it. Advantage of waiting till ETH is back over USD 300 means a nice starting price, on the other hand, a low starting price gives an opportunity to buy cheap more AE from the ones who rapidly want to make a profit of their ICO investments. I am an early investor of the first hours of phase 1 (Thanks for the Ledger
) and I can hardly wait to see Aeternity project reaches the stars, so I will try to get more part of it whenever I can.As a result, Vlad, no matter how you decide, I am sure it will be the best balance for Aeternity AND the Investors.
