OK the deposit was successful. False alarm. However, looking at Reddit it appears other people are having issues with this exchange so be careful.

Beware of livecoin. My deposits are still showing a 'pending' status despite having over 50 confirmations.

I'll let you all know if anything changes.

Beware of using Livecoin right now. I have two deposits with over 50 confirmations but Livecoin is still showing a 'pending' status. I'll update this post if I'm able to access my coins.

Beware

There is some hope for this coin, it's been stable with no major bugs/exploits that we know of. I'm interested in picking some up as the BTC price is at the lowest price before the alt pump in April 2017 ish time.

Hopefully a developer adopts this coin, the code is solid. The dev of Transfercoin was/is a developer for Crown as well.

So excited about the new development! I'm having some issues though:

With 1.2.4 I am only seeing 5 masternodes when I was seeing all 55 masternodes on 1.2.3, but I have 17 more connections to the network.

Hi Community,

I have the Rasberry wallet but I get the message "Please update to Client version 1.2.3". If you have already updated ignore this message"
Is it save to use this old version for creating a masternode?

Thanks!

No it just comes up anyway, best to change notification settings for wallet

Thanks for your information! I have also problems with sync the chain. I have right now 10 active connections and have add a lott of masternodes to the config file include listen=0. The chain is syncing for 24 hours right now and still I have 1 year and 26 weeks to go. Can someone tell me what I does wrong?

I've read in older post that changing maxorphanblocks=5000 instead of 10000 will speed up sync as well

Update:

Still having issues after adding all the nodes, but definitely see an increase in connections to the network.

Was about to get much better connection after changing listen=0 to listen=1 in the transfer.conf file. You may be able to add it to your transfer.conf if it's not already there.

Also, learned that if your wallet is encrypted your masternodes will not start until you unlock your wallet for staking. Staking will not work unless unlocking your wallet 2 or 3 times.

Alot of people have been having problems maintaining a strong connection to the transfercoin network, and I was as well.  I solved the problem this way:

If you are having slow or no connection you need to put the list of masternodes into your transfer.conf file.

In windows it can be located by typing %appdata% into search. There will be a transfer folder, inside this folder, transfer.conf should be located. If it is not there, create a new transfer.conf text file. Make sure it is named transfer.conf.

On a mac, go to finder and navigate to /Applications/Transfer-Qt.app/Contents/Resources. Not entirely sure about this, so if a Mac user can verify it would be great.

If you need more advanced tech support, please visit the forum at www.transfercointx.pw.  I would be glad to give you specific support.

This may have been my problem, I had only about half of the nodes in my transfer.conf file. I've been able to maintain a strong connection, but my masternode keeps disconnecting. Hopefully adding the additional nodes will resolve my issues. Thanks

I notice the instructions for the transfer.conf file say to set listen=0

Is setting listen=1 recommended?

I'm still having issues getting this masternode to stay running, it runs for 30 mins-2 hours then says 'Masternode not found in list"

I've tried disabling all security programs, disabling windows firewall, disabling router firewall, disabling IPV6.

Any ideas?

-got the recognition it deserved by proxy pumps from DASH and PIVX.

I'm pretty sure the rise in CRW brought attention to TX. Since infernoman joined/got hired to work with/on the CRW project. In fact looking at charts they almost rose at the same time and they both have leveled out at the same time.

Yeah I found Crown & TransferCoin mentioned with other cryptocurrencies that have masternodes. I'm sure some of the Crown holders are also investing in TransferCoin when they realize InfernoMan developed it.

Don't forget to donate to InfernoMan if you can, I've donate a bit and plan to send more when I get paid again, hope more donate as appreciation of this technology and motivation to InfernoMan to continue to work on TX.

Super noob looking for some help getting my node going. Here are the issues:

  • When I click 'Transfer Network' and look at the active nodes, it'll show 47 active nodes, then a few seconds later only 4 active nodes, back and forth. Is this normal?
  • When I start my node, it doesn't stay running, I have to keep starting it
  • In the debug logs I'm seeing: socket recv error 10054 (ALSO SEEING TONS OF "QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function" errors)

Any help is much appreciated, will be sure to pass the knowledge forward. Thanks

I forgot to mention that I didn't manually create any .conf files as instructed, I simply used the masternode GUI, do I still need to use the original instructions for setting up a masternode?

EDIT: Also receiving this error before my node stops running:

socket receive timeout: 1201s

Was fortunate enough to find this coin a few days ago, saw it at $0.01/TX but couldn't transfer funds to the exchange fast enough, but still got a great price! Could have made over 700% during the last pump but I believe in this coin and do not plan on selling 1 single TX for at least a year. It's hard for me to get involved with coins with sketchy histories like Ether and Dash, glad to have found a well developed coin without instaMines preMines ICOs all that stuff.

Trying to get some nodes set up soon hopefully

As soon as I mentioned escrow to ash312 the user responded:

[3:47:26 AM] goldux officials: i found an other buyer
[3:47:33 AM] goldux officials: will tell you if i need
[3:47:39 AM] goldux officials: yes i use escrow

Also, when I asked the user to send me his/her skype username in a Private Message on Bitcointalk. The user initially sent me the wrong skype.

As a merchant in valuable electronics, I would never agree to refund the purchase in BTC. As someone mentioned above, a swift price change in BTC, and the fraudulent returns begin. I plan to convert my BTC to USD instantly to cover operating costs and to source more inventory.

Until BTC stabilizes, I wouldn't agree to refunding BTC.
