That's good and so is the new way the fee is mined. However, I still have to use Sp3 because of my Radeon R9 280(x)s and R9 290. Plus it's a about 6kH/s faster for each of my 14gpus than either Sp4 or Sp5.

I use the newest drivers. I have a Radeon Pro Duo in 4 different systems because none of the miners work right if I put 2 of them in 1 system. So I can install either the Pro drivers or the Adrenaline drivers. It doesn't make any difference however with Sp4.

Couple issues with SP4.

Doesn't work with R9 280(x)'s anymore. Crashes the driver as soon as they start up. They work fine with SP3.

Insane lag a few minutes into mining on any of my systems.

I have been using SP3 for about a month now because of these issues.

It isn't crashing, it throws a "failed to create verthash data buffer" code as the miner stops after donation mining, then instead of continuing with work, it does a restart where it runs through the bit of mining (like you just started the miner) then the donation mining again and rinse and repeat. So instead of you getting 1%, your getting alot more... maybe like 25% donation. It's definitely a spminer vs old 2013 Radeons issue.

Anyway, I figured something out, just run one of the Rx cards with the R9 cards and it works like it's supposed to.

I just fired up my Firepro s10000 it's getting an excellent 779kH/s with stock clocks, however it has the same issue as the R9 280x's. This is in my main Ryzen 7, 16gb system, so it can't be a system issue.

Tried it, working good on the RX cards, one went up 7kH/s. R9 280x's same issue despite large pagefile. It's an older AMD 790fx board withAMD x2 3000+ ,4 sticks of 1gb ram and 120gb ssd.

on R9-280x's...possibly due to 3gb ram? I didn't have this issue with 1.3.

Hey Sp, can you make a couple changes to your spminer for vertcoin?

1. The miner connects, then disconnects and re-connects for donation mining, then disconnects and re-connects for regular mining.  It's annoying and can be problematic with gpu clock settings.

I don't know if you have a reason for that, but it seems to me it would be simpler just to start with the donation mining then do 1 disconnect and reconnect for regular mining.

2. Like the other 2 miners spminer doesn't work right with gtx 700 series cards. It would be super awesome if you could make it work right.
