I wonder if Tottenham have a Plan B in case of Kane's departure this summer. Because Bayern Munich still seem determined to sign him. Some rumours say that Tottenham might go for Lukaku but I don't feel like the player would accept any offer from them. He is favouring Inter much more than any team interested these days.
But Tottenham still should be able to find a decent striker to fill Kane's place. They don't need to sign a world star like him as well. Because even though they have one now they still can't win any title. They need to focus on improving their performance as a team and then they can be more successful even with just a decent level striker.
The problem with spurs is that, they run an administration centered around some kind of autocratic leadership. Harry Kane was a victim of his own long stay there, because of the long years deal he signed, committed his age of prime to a club that aren’t ambitious for titles.
He has been a loyal servant yes. But Spurs needs to begin to think about life after Kane, as I also expect the player to push for the Bayern move. Richardlison will have all the opportunities and game time to shine. They will cash-out close to €100m and just replace Kane with a second striker that would be on the bench, while the Brazilian number 9 leads the attack.
