I do not think that shakepay is not that much fame in the bitcoin card provider. You can check in the bitpay, cryptopay, spectrum and xapo are the best options to purchase the bitcoin debit cards and these assumes legit options to have a cards.

I'm currently using shakepay.co
They accept my registration even though I'm not from EU, so I guess it is safe to say they're accepting members outside EU.
As usual, non verified member has their own limits with verified member got their limit lifted.
Oh, and your first virtual card is free.

Most of these providers have cards which work outside of EU, actually they work wherever VISA is accepted. The problem is that you cannot get verified unless you re in EU. Somebody correct me if I wrong, I m in EU so have not had this issue.

sadly both Mastercard and Visa have this restriction in place
tried to look for options myself,looks like the "competition" between them too
is just a ruse to avoid monopoly charges,in reality its one and same institution
once one of them does something,aka banning non EU residents from using cards,
the other one does same a few days later

Wirex, Xapo and Cryptopay stopped working outside EU, I have their confirmation by e-mail, that's why I did this post, after reading and searching for the matter. Currently only Uquid has confirmed that they are still working outside EU, still waiting WageCan response and looking for another options.

Wirex has some new card where it can be used outside of the EU. However you do need to confirm your identity before you can actually use their services. If you are willing to do this, then there is really endless options.

I'm fairly sure that cryptopay and xapo has working cards right now as well.

It's really up to you to do the research and pick the one that is the best for yourself, though.

I think that the reason for the new rules is personal data protection. This is very strict in EU and the new directive is to be implemented soon so this is probably some precausion measure. But I thinK that Visa nad Msste will suffer loses not to be present with bitcoin debit cards outside EU because more and more users are intresetd in it and to my opinon this is the future, this is very convenient wa to spend bitcoins everywhere. Maybe also bitcoin credit cards will appear some day.

the thing is you will have to check every provider if they service non-eu residents yourself,just ask their support
also if the card supports mastercard,there is a high chance they do service non-eu residents

The future of credit/debit cards of cryptos will come from the cryptos itself. We can't expect VISA and MASTERCARD to fully support bitcoin and other cryptocoins. I am willing to use some card as a payment method to use my bitcoins in all over the world without this bureaucracy called "fees and prohibitions".

If you want to have a good customer service then better to start using the wirex debit card, it is a good one, maybe you will have some issues at the moment that you decide to load your card, but in the end, it is always going to be solved because the support is always on this forum and they have an active ann thread (so they will always be checking the bitcointalk users ticket's as a priority)
Bitwala is a good card too, but it will take more than 20 days to be shipped to your door if you are outside Europe, and it is difficult to get it if you dont buy a premium shipping.
