Fees are rather high for all the btc debit card out there. I think we must wait for more competition for the fees to get lower.

Re: Bitcoin or gold?

A difficult choice. Gold is probably harder to sell nowadays than Bitcoin and much harder to hold and transport. I'd have to constantly worry that my brick gets stolen. Bitcoin on the other hand can be kept safe on paper wallets and multiple encrypted drives. The problem with it however is that the technology may be replaced by something better. I'd probably play big and risk it all with Bitcoin. It has much greater chance of gaining value.
There's no much to be said. We are in a sideway trading range looking a bit more down than up. That's it. Ordinary days.

I think holding bitcoins for a limited time can be profitable but it can be risky holding them for too long. No one can really know what will happen in coming time, especially now, after the halving.

Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022?

2022 is too near the future for BTC to be used worldwide. Mass adoption is slowly taking place, but I personally don't think 6 years would be enough to introduce BTC to most everybody, especially in third world countries, where even internet connectivity is still a huge problem.

There is still lot of room for many good coins and this diversity is healthy for bitcoin and for users. They can choose which technology is best for them, if they want fast transaction or anonymity.

I believe that now is the right time to invest into bitcoins as most probably the price is going to rise because of various reasons such as block increase and halving.

Its very good that you are willing to invest. Bitcoin will go to high amount so that is a good thing. The second thing is that its getting more popular, keep in mind that bitcoin is always risky to invest.

Bitcoin will be a strong currency in future for sure but I don't see it replacing fiat currency in future, almost majority of the population is dependent on fiat and they use it for their normal stuffs and those getting into crypto is something unbelievable.

Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin?

I think it's a good thing, halving was introduced in order to make the price keep on growing. But because right now many people are already expecting it, the price might be still stable.

Since this thread was made there have been a lot of happenings in the crypto market sphere. I do not think open forums is the best place to give investment advice but rather analyze markets that are always fluctuating and moving. See what is performing, research crypto news, and with this you will be able to predict movements of the market at a higher success rate yielding higher profits.

Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ?

We are immerse in a world of continuous changes, and that is why I prefer to be very cautious about my foresights in financial matters (bitcoin included). But I tend to think that nothing will be as we are thinking and future holds great surprises for everybody. I am no so convinced about the dominance of bitcoin because I have no doubt that future will bring more advanced technologies to exchange products and services, although I have no doubt that in 50 years there will still be dollars and bitcoins.

The people that hate bitcoin are usually people who are either trying to get the price lower or thinks it is worthless or it's gonna die out. I personally use bitcoin very extensively.
