I do both ways. Following the hype isn't a bad thing to make a quick profit. remember, only for short trades. after to sell immediately, and you only have a little time. but it all also depends on the selected asset. trading with hype, obviously it's risky, must be very focused not to lose momentum.
to be on the safe side, buying while in correction is the choice. I do it for top market assets that I plan on long-term.

solona is still very new. sometimes people feel hesitant to enter solona. that's because the hype is very strong, especially for a project that sells with the solona network. they soon found a good market.
if have more ETH I guess it's ok to share it with solona to keep up with the market hype. quite an attractive strategy for short profits. because solona is still a lot of development.
