Their service hasn't been made public yet. At least not that I know of. So far only those that signed up for Beta testing have had the privledge of owning their own accounts. Please let me know If I'm wrong.

Basically I'm selling the opportunity to acquire an account ASAP.

Coins For Tech
by

Has anyone here paid top bitcoin for a product on Coins For Tech?

Was your transaction satisfactory?

With the price of BTC plummeting I'm thinking of purchasing a Canon EOS 70D camera from that site.
However, I'm just a bit skeptical and wanted to ask the community whether or not anyone here has had a
smooth transaction with them.

I reside in the States by the way.

I just don't want to receive some used or refurbished product, or WORSE! NO PRODUCT AT ALL!

Thanks in advance for your responses everyone!

Re: Slovenia: No Capital Gains Tax on Bitcoin

1. Slovenia
2. Germany
3. Isle of Man
4. Belgium
5. Switzerland (1.2% tax)
6.
7.
8.
9.

Any others yet?

As a side note, we joke about citizenship, but I see no reason why it wouldn't make sense to do two things immediately:  Work on citizenship (dual?) and set up a bank account there.  If you are going to cash out large quantities, you'll want a bank account that has some longevity and activity, so as to avoid questions from the bank.  No reason why you wouldn't set that up now and begin accruing longevity.

As for citizenship, do you have to renounce your US (or other) citizenship to get citizenship in one of these other countries?  I mentioned "dual citizenship" because I've heard of such a thing.  Know nothing about it though...

-Burger

You don't have to renounce it but in the case of my friends they both had to turn in their original birth certificates to the nation of which they were requesting citizienship from. I don't know if that applies to all other nations though.

I know some of you are going to be instantly turned away thinking, "Why would I ever trust this guy with my private key?". I can assure you that I do not try to memorize the private keys, nor do I make any additional copies, unless specifically requested by the customer.

That doesn't help.

Re: Why is Bitcoin beneficial to mankind?

It has the potential to weaken a large group of corrupt people.

but more importantly, it has the potential to redistribute power to the common man. it gives us more choices so that we don't have to bank with chase.

Exactly!

i get this

and is exactly my prefixkey

so here a screen

You're not supposed to place the the public address though. in the second box you're supposed to place the private key
that the OP sends you upon completion of your custom public key. In the top box you place the private key that you were asked to save during step 1.

Nevermind I see that it states that it can accept the public key. That's weird because I didn't generate the private key for my public key address using the public key itself in the second box.

it's say that my imput is invalid, very strange, i'm sure i've copied my private key in a right way

First- Unlock the client: walletpassphrase [youpassword] 600
Second- Import the private key: importprivkey [yourprivatekey] [Titleyouwanttogiveyournewaddress]
Then you have to wait a bit. and after about 2 minutes depending on the speed of your computer you should go to
addresses and your new address should be there with the title you inserted when you first imported the private key.
