Re: no to genocide.

I will always support that any leader that encourage genocide or war should be punished seriously because they are not the once to suffer or die with it gets serious.

Say no to genocide

You say it like it to so so easy forgetting the fact that before such things happen, there is definitely a hidden agenda. The reasons for genocide might not only be for dominance but to control the economy of the weaker state.
Do you think a President of a nation will see an opportunity to lift his nation's economy and not grab it?

Poor Millionaire

With the current inflation rate, a millionaire is hardly seen as a rich and comfortable personality in society.
What is the global economy turning into?
What is happening to poverty?

The more we work to get the basic needs of life, the more difficult it seems to be tagged a well doing man.
Far gone are the good old days where a thousand bucks was some real cash but today, that's like having nothing. It is becoming unbearable for real.

We cannot sit down and fold our hands with the expectation that things will be alright, instead we ha e to wake up and make things worse for us and the entire people in our generation, we can't continue in being dependent of the government and advanced countries to determine for us on what to do, each day you continue to hear about how the economy continues in a degrade mode and at the same time some are building up theirs independently, if we rely on others, we may not meet up.

The level of dependency which certain economies have on other economies is majorly what develops their underdevelopment

Re: S€x before marriage or after marriage, which one do you prefer?
by
El_Tammy
on 09/09/2025, 22:26:11 UTC
Offcourse it's everyone's choice, but for me it's not even a question. I don't understand how you can have sex only after marriage. I understand it's mostly religious things, but for me it looks strange in 21st century.

I would prefer to marry a girl who is respectful, brilliant, and hygienic rather than a highly sexually skilled partner.
I don't correlation between these things. Do you want to say highly sexually skilled partner can't be respectful, brilliant and hygienic?

It is something which is being normalized now on the internet, to use wordings and replacement words, so people can express themselves without fearing to be taken down by the algorithm or artificial intelligence doing some moderation work. For example, there are thousands or millions on people on Tik tok and other major social media who are using the word "grape" instead the word "rape".
It is also common for people to type down words composed by letters and numbers, when they want to say things like: sex, abuse, retard, idiot, among other words which could end up on their accounts getting flagged.
i have both seen in on YouTube and Instagram, more in YouTube, in the title of the video itself, rather in the content inside.
Yeah, due to censorship on social media people started to use alternative words and looks that this habbit moved to Bitcointalk too. I remember in covid times people also replaced words like covid or vaccine to not get shadow banned. Shadow banned means that account visibility and post reach is restricted. Such things also may be used in political context.

Though, it is very silly to me someone would come to this forum, where freedom of speech is one of the core values of the administration and yet, continues to use those anti-censorshio words as if we all were posting in a forum controlled by Meta/Facebook or other big tech corporation. Obviously, OP does not have much idea of how things work here and fact one can say whatever one wants without any fear of a shadow ban or getting banned completely from this ecosystem.
It is something a very new user would do... it is worrying how restrictive internet has become and people resorting to those measures is only a symptom of it.

Thank you for understanding. Literally thought things will be same as the meta or other social media spaces. Well it's a good thing finding a space where you can finally be free and relate to everyone and everything.

I think the Neil Armstrong moon landing was faked yes. Like you said, even now it is difficult to go to space, even with all the advancements. I don’t think it happened in 1969 no. I think the US felt pressured by the USSR & China, they wanted to be first so faked it. I don’t have any facts or evidence but there are many thought out conspiracy theories you can Google.

That my friend is exactly what I suspected. The thought of being behind forced the US to fake the first moon landing just to look like they were ahead.

Well I'll reserve my comment because of xyz reasons.

Small mistakes in investments

My 9ja family I throw salute o

Today I will hastily mention two things we all do at a point in time while investing in cryptocurrencies and even other other online platforms. As y'all are Nigerians, it is better we share this knowledge because none is waste (knowledge I mean).

So quickly, let's go into these tiny things we don't even know are mistakes we make when carrying out online investments.

1. Invest in a platform you trust: Most times we invest in platforms we don't even know about. Maybe we've got the information about how the platform has been paying people and in the process, we make decisions that might end up not letting us sleep well at night. You see there's something about money which is wherever you keep or put it, that place automatically is where your mind will be. So investing your money in a platform or coin you don't trust is like giving your goat to a lion to protect for you. You can never be at peace with yourself and even your spirit. Make sure you make proper finding, you know enough about the coin or platform and you trust it very much before you invest in it with your money.

2. Emotions in business: Everyone is human and yes we all get emotional sometimes. But the moment you mix emotions with money or business, from that moment you suffer. Because everyone is doing this, I should do it also or if I don't do it then someone will think or feel somehow.
You should learn to make up and follow your mind even if it will require you to be hard sometimes because you're here to make profit. It's just like mixing pleasure with business because the moment you let your emotions get the best of you, you will find it difficult to say no to some people and most times we follow this feeling of not wanting to disappoint somebody and invest in the wrong platform.

So before you make any decision concerning or involving your finances — scrutinize it without involving your emotions and in your head, see how it will play out before you hit the green button.

Did the United States fly to the moon in the 19th (!) century? Shocked

How can you write such nonsense?

Sorry, it was an error. Was actually trying to put the year 1969.

From what I've observed in the economic system of the world, imperialism has been the major aim and objective. Dominance is what have been driving the global system up till this day.

Interesting, where did you hear that?

I am a Political Science student bro, so I spend most of my time making findings concerning development of states, the theories of the state and the difference modes of production.
Hearing you mention Lenin reminded me of a lecturer indeed.

From the colonial era to the present day, the global market is still under who gets what, when and how. Who gets hurt or which economy perishes is not really of great concern but what really matters is who gets profit and how they get it.

If your nation's strength on negotiation is weak or still suffers neo colonialism, then it's a good bye for your economy making it be a survival for the fittest. Do everything you can to keep your own up and running, exploit if you can, impose rules to favor yourself if you can.
Cause a war if that will favour you for it is all amongst the practice of international relations.

The first moon landing, was it fake or real?
by
El_Tammy
on 08/09/2025, 21:55:32 UTC
Over the years we were made to believe that man had stepped foot on the moon, with Niel Armstrong being the first man to step on the moon. Now recently, there have been controversial facts which shows that we have been played and the moon landing isn't so real as we thought it was.

Ranging from the kind of space craft that was used, to the space boot which Armstrong wore, and to the flag of the United States which was moving as a sign of air blowing around it in which we all know there is none in space. Recently, Niel Armstrong was told to place his hand on a Bible (as he is a believer) and swear that he stepped foot on the moon and to the greatest surprise of the world, he refused to do it.

So the question which still continues to linger in the minds of many is was the first moon landing staged and if so, what are the real intentions for this?
Because if the even upgraded space rockers of Elon Musk still finds it difficult to go to space, then how did the United States do in back in the 19th century with the box like space craft.

Something really isn't right and I think the US have had plans to cover up this over the years.

Well that's why the musician Wizard Chan said and I quote "sometimes you break your heart just to please your soul." If you start getting everything your mind tells you, you'll get so sorry you followed everything your heart told you just minutes after.

In order to save money, there are series of things and acts you have to let go of which holding or controlling your thirst for unnecessary things is one critical factor. You mentioned going to a beer parlor to get beer and pepper soup to get your strength back.
Now I will ask, must it be beer and peppersoup? Why can't it be a normal restaurant where they sell good food because I believe with #3,000 you'll get a plate of soup and eat to feel energized than you going to get beer and peppersoup with everything you worked for.

To be able to hold on to your money, you have to learn to kill that consciousness that always cracks for irrelevant things and only then will your money last a day in your pockets.

Bitcoin and the world economy. (How has crypto contributed to the world economy)
by
El_Tammy
on 08/09/2025, 21:28:56 UTC
What contributions has the introduction of cryptocurrency made to the world economy. Many countries mostly in the African region has banned activities involving cryptocurrency while some have legalized it's use.

What effects has Bitcoin or other digital coins caused that have made these international bodies to take the various decisions they have made. Is it that it has posed a great threat to the economic system of some other countries and in the same time help lifted the operations of the others?

What do you think is the major issue or reason here?

Re: Earning salary or owning a business which is better
by

Well choosing between earning a salary and owning a business is like being told to choose between being a man that buys a car for someone and being the man that someone bought the car for.

I will want to tip it off with a quote I came across recently that says "no billionaire became who he was by earning salaries."  So to me, I rather own the business and be the capitalist.

I used the word capitalist because we all know that a system where a particular person owns the production process is called capitalism and in this system called capitalism, making profit is the number one goal. So therefore you don't expect to be working for someone and not exploited. The working class is always exploited in the capitalist system.
Therefore it's better to be the exploiter than be the exploited.

Curbing the high rate of moral decadence in the society.

For sometimes now,The high rate of moral decay in the society have been a burning issues.
A research conducted by experts shows it more prevalence sub-saharah region of Africa continents.
A particular school was visited and girls between the ages of 18years and above have contraceptives implantation to prevent pregnancies.about 20 girls from the same school was discovered to have implanted this contraceptives.

Do you think introduction of sex education in schools will eradicate these menace?

The concept sex education isn't basically just about contraceptives and how to prevent pregnancies and distribution of condoms.

It's majorly to enlighten people how and what sex is. It's nature, effect and how it even occurs in some instances. So to me, sex education will curb out these acts because it even teaches the advantages and disadvantages of these contraceptives because I believe some persons don't even know that contraceptives have their own disadvantages.

Sex education is good, and yes it will help relinquish this menace as you put it.

Don't marry people that are not meant for you. Before we were born our CREATOR already destined us to be with certain people as husbands and wives, but people try to marry (or marry) someone else or at the wrong time. Always wait for the right person and the right time.
Our CREATOR's Will rather than human will should always prevail.

At the right time a compatible partner would be found.

Do you really believe there are partners arranged for everyone? If yes, do you have a girlfriend and you think she's the right one?

Because one reason many people get old or later make marital mistakes is this waiting for the right one decision. So how do you know that you've finally met the right partner destined for you?

Re: Is Donald Trump scared of President Putin and Xi's alliance?

The rapprochement between Russia, China and North Korea, or with India, is a threat to the US position both economically and militarily. So it is normal and inevitable that Trump or any American would be worried and scared. If they say they are not worried and scared, they are lying.

Trump’s rambling on his social media only shows that he is more insecure than ever but can do nothing. This is what he usually does when he feels helpless about something.
Exactly what I feel. I believe he is more scared than before because his uneasiness is what has been making him talk alot lately.
