Apparently, crypto project devs now want to see more value and are unwilling to pay very high amounts of money to bounty hunters, especially those who spam and cheat by creating multiple accounts. Rewards are much less now and the best way to distribute is to set fixed amount of rewards for each campaign and cap the number of participants that will be allowed to join.

That's correct. However, does the size of the whitepaper really matter?

I think the major point of any project should be in delivering and fufiling whatever it is that was promised in their whitepaper and not whether the WP is long or small.

Everyone needs to be careful.

Isn't there a way to vet these projects completely so we can point and report those scam projects?

It would do a lot of good if we can flag them on the front page of the forum.

If you want to determine if a telegram group can influence the success of a project, you need to read the conversations.

If there are too few intelligent discussions and just more of hypes and shills, you can bet it's going to be a shitty project.

So, pay attention to the group's activity and not how many members are in the telegram group.

At the moment I'm in UniDapp. Although I am promoting the project, I plan to bag some at the public sale. They have a great product in the works in terms of integrating exciting features to their exchange that will mirror that of Uniswap. Still, DYOR. No project is guaranteed to give you profits so invest wisely.

It is a mistake that most newbies make.

They see a coin going up and with lots of hype from telegram groups, they buy it while the price is so high up.

It is very risky. I used to do this in my early days of crypto trading and got burnt badly.

Now I wait for the coins to retrace before buying

I used to have many favorite coins. Then they all started disappointing me one after the other. All my so-called favorite coins are now shitcoins. Ever since, I don't call any coin a favourite. I just bag and sell at the nearest sign of a crescent moon.

This increase reminds me of the episodes with the crypto kitties. Ethereum gas fees also went up during this period and then reverted to it lower fee structure few months later. I believe the same thing will repeat this period. It is only a matter of time. DeFi is peaking.

Yes I believe crypto is now similar to a gamble because even with all the signals and indicators pointing in the right direction, your trades can still swing negatively. If you have to buy crypto now, do so with the mind of an investor going for strictly long-term gains.

My friends have all made some crazy money on Defi and I am tempted to also invest in some. But my fear is what if I risk my money in it and they hype goes down like it did for ICOs and lending coins back then?

Without much proof it is hard to tell if a coin is being manipulated much in an exchange. However, like someone suggested, it is wise to take your time and observe the charts and trading volume of the coin for a couple of days before jumping on the train to buy
