Re: 💰💰 CSC Jackpot 🔥 A Revolutionized Online Lottery Platform 🔥
by

Good luck to the venture. I have seen a lot of lottery platforms, all of them trying to be fair and transparent with blockchain and all that, but all of them just somehow not being able to attract the right attention. You estimate 10k tickets sold in a day? And at 15 dollars worth? Very difficult, I have to say. People would still rather play the freelotto free tickets or even freebitcoin. I don't know why but they do. Still, good luck proving me wrong.
Right! I think there will be nothing wrong here. I used to buy a bit of tickets before, and of course got a little bit like this  Grin Grin Grin

Re: Crypto market rebounding?

It's been a long time I've seen almost all of the BTC and Alt are green.
Really, I'm really excited!
So is this really a good thing for the return of the Crypto market? Has it really gone through big changes?

The ups and downs are always occurring. Just look at it as a signal that can hope for better, don't let that excitement affect any decisions right now Guy!

If people are making good posts but are still struggling to get merit, then that's a problem with the merit system and should be fixed on my end.

Without a doubt I agree in some point that getting merits even though you are making good quality post is too hard for the most of us here. In my opinion, there are reasons why a certain person doesn't receive any merits because:

1. He is not that famous here in the forum, I mean based on what I observed on this forum, most of the members that gets merits are those who have higher reputation in this forum, well I guess that can't be help since they are really making good quality post, but I think getting merits depends on how much we appreciated that certain person, if we know that he is making good quality post, let's say for example we read someone's post but his name is not familiar to us yet the quality is good, we will have a second thought if we are going to give him a merit, unlike when we are in the situation that we see a post from a very famous people here, and automatically we give them merits without hesitating.

2. His post has always been buried in the previous thread because of the spamming post made by the shit posters, making it hard to be find.
3. Most of the merited posts are in this thread, if I'm not mistaken, I rarely see post on the other threads like Bitcoin Discussion, Economy and Altcoin Discussion that has been merited by someone. I know you'll say that there is a lot of spammers in those threads, but there are some who are making good quality post too.

Again, this is just my opinion. Smiley

That's right, but not all the hard limits for newbies will solve the spam problem here. Why admins don't receive priority preferences for posts from members who have been rated, may be shown first or will be preferred on page 1 or page 2, and the following pages will still be displayed Posts from newbies.
I am also a newbie, and so lucky when i got 1 merit of try hard in my posts, but obviously this puts a label on all the newbie, and management is creating a big limits for newbies that they're trying to contribute this forum.

Normally, refrigerants used naturally include propane and iso-butane, ammonia, and possibly CO2. QPC's products are immersed in one of these refrigerants.

Slow, steady, reassuring growth. Let’s hope it continues like this for a while. Makes a nice case that the bottom has already occurred.

What if bitcoin seems to average about 7500 USD
by
Eleanorbro
on 15/09/2018, 07:29:12 UTC
Just suppose...

What if bitcoin seems to average about 7500 USD or so over a very long period, like a year or even more. Currently, this isn't high enough of a value in USD to really mine anymore with GPU's, if mining for profit in USD anyways. I do not mine with ASIC miners and I really know very little about them, even though I almost bought a Bitmain Antiminer S9 before I build my 8 GPU rig.

Will mining taper off to little to nothing, will difficulty levels be adjusted to compensate miners, or what else?

I would be interested to know some thinking on this, should it become a reality or even close to a reality for some length of time.

Re: some potential alternative uses for bitcoin mining rigs
by
Eleanorbro
on 15/09/2018, 06:53:42 UTC
Bitcoin mining rigs can only perform SHA256 hashes. So, alternative use cases are limited. They do give off lots of heat, so you can use them as noisy heaters Smiley

Yes, Bitcoin is much more than payment processing. It is also a very important store of value, a monetary unit not controlled by any government. The Bitcoin network is also the first working proof of decentralized cooperation and consensus among adversarial parties, aka Nakamoto Consensus. This could have many implications over time.

You can include small amounts of arbitrary data in every transaction and block. For example, miners can "sign their name" on a block they create, and/or include a brief political statement such as "NO2X". Something else you can do is include a hash of something, for example the hash of a statement or contact. This hash can then be referenced later as proof that the given statement/contract existed at the time it was included in a block.

If everyone suddenly became completely over bitcoin, what else could all that computing power do? Can the machines perform other tasks?

Bitcoin mining machines can only do SHA256 hashes. That's the whole idea of an ASIC: an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit. All of the circuit boards are custom built to perform SHA256 hashing, and they are useless for all else.

From one perspective, this is a good thing. Anyone who has made a capital investment into Bitcoin mining knows that if Bitcoin somehow dies, their hardware will be useless. So, they have an additional incentive to keep the network healthy and valuable.

The development team is quite important and the transparency of the project. How can investors pour money into the project and trust the project? That is the main problem.

That is not possible, Bitcoin is still holding the top and hasn't gone out of the crypto market for years. What does that mean? Bitcoin is still on the rise.

Re: Which is the best Cryptocurrency to invest 2018?
by
Eleanorbro
on 29/08/2018, 07:06:17 UTC
At the present time, coin worth to invest in is Ripple. Since their present value is very low, we can invest in it in large numbers and wait until one day to bring us a great value in the future. Otherwise, you can invest in Bitcoin, because now the value of them is increasing a lot, you should invest in the time now to December, maybe the value of Bitcoin will be worthwhile. higher than in 2017.

I think if Facebook developed their own cryptos, they would probably get a lot of profit if the coin was on the floor. Since they have their own brand, they can also place ads on Facebook without spending a penny. It is a very good idea for their economy.
