It's starting, but it does not start to sync. Here is the debug, it's quite long but I'll put the last lines. I have to say that it shows some dates of previous dates before deleting everything.

Looks like your peers are outdated.
What's in your electric.conf?
If you do not have one try something like the following, adjust to suit your own requirements:
Code:
listen=1
server=1
rpcuser=????????????rpc
rpcpassword=????????????????????????????????????????????????????
maxconnections=16
addnode=electricsherlock.no-ip.biz
addnode=54.72.113.27
addnode=101.187.42.235
addnode=123.243.112.171
addnode=198.204.227.118

New Update coming to address the Openssl security issue , please keep an eye.

Hi soopy, I've trying to sync my wallet but it does not. I downloaded the chain that it's on this thread. I deleted all the files and copied the new chain in the roaming electric folder, but it does not do anything. I am doing it with windows. Do you know how I can solve it?. Thanks.
Is your wallet starting?
Supply the information in your Debug Window.

You provide the wrong version of the wallet, download the version is 1.1.0.0, please provide the correct version 1.2 wallet。THX
Apologies to those who feel this is getting repetitive.

1.2 displays as 1.1.0.0 - Scroll up to discover why.

If you have Block 479 issues download the blockchain https://github.com/TeamVOLT/ElectricVOLT/releases/tag/ElectricBlockchain151696.chain

currently supporting the comeback of volt.
im using osx and the link to the wallet update is invalid.  any help in getting synced would be appreciated, currently stuck on block 87836.......
Mac Version available here:
https://github.com/TeamVOLT/ElectricVOLT/releases/download/v1.2.0.0-osx-beta/Electric-Qt-osx-v1.2.0.0-beta.dmg
I'll prepare a more recent blockchain download and link here shortly.
Blockchain available here:
https://github.com/TeamVOLT/ElectricVOLT/releases/tag/ElectricBlockchain151696.zip
Ensure you have adequate backups before trying this.
I get an incorrect database error, it seems your database/log files are needed as well in that zip, trying to rebuild from scratch dies with incorrect proof of work and remains stuck at block 479
I should mention that I built from source and still seem to get version 1.1 (presumably '"version" : 1010000' is the actual version string) .... please post latest sources on github as well!
Have attached an additional file (database151696.zip) with log; if correct I'll recombine later. https://github.com/TeamVOLT/ElectricVOLT/releases/tag/ElectricBlockchain151696.chain
Go down the tree to https://github.com/TeamVOLT/ElectricVOLT to view sources.

Version numbers were incorrect in this release though it is v1.2.0.0, just to aid the confusion!

Only One pool seems to remain in service:
https://volt.kryptochaos.com/

@soopy452000 I hope you have left some time for us to advise the pool and exchange operators of the fork.
Well done by the way!

Edit: http://volt.bitember.com/index.php is back online.

What's going on with cryptorush? I kept volt coins in there and now is not available anymore? Have they lost the coins or is it just temporal?

Exposed as a scam exchange after a "hack" that lost $100k of coins & then they went insolvent
They are still working on a resolution. Check their Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheCryptoRush

I downloaded everything as explained but the wallet does not line up, how can I do?
Have you manually downloaded the blockchain and replaced yours with the contents?

http://volt.dedicatedpool.com/index.php say they "took volt offline because it was using way too many resources"
So scratch that off the list of mining pools for now!

OSX wallet for v1.1

http://pcmerc.com/files/Electric-Qt.dmg

Please report any issues to me so I may address them

pcmerc~
http://kryptochaos.com

Howdy. Trying to update my old wallet. Downloaded this new one and replaced the old one (backed up wallet.dat and everything else).

It doesn't sync or do anything... but hey it launches... which is more than I can say for most osx wallets in 10.7.4.

I don't know where to place the new blockchain or the new nodes in osx. I cannot find a conf file..  looking in package contents of the app itself and in application support.

If some kind soul could walk me through getting this new wallet synced I would be very grateful...  and will even give you a tip (provided the coins that were autopaid to the old wallet by mistake show up).
You datafiles should be located with your wallet in something like ~/Library/Application Support/Electric (hidden in some versions of osx)
The included peer.dat should take care of your node requirements.
Electric.conf goes in there as well; you need to create your own from a text file.

Good Luck

Promethium
