Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money
by
Emem29
on 31/12/2017, 14:01:54 UTC
Actually it's totally different,
even though its name was Cryptocurrency,we can not compare it to actual money aka Fiat.
if we want it to be considered as a 'real currency' we should have a physical form.
right now the best word to describe it is 'Electronic Payment' not 'Electronic Money'.
'Electronic payment' was a tool for people to help them send their money across the world,
it's just a tool and will never replace the real 'money' itself.

I think it is more stable to you physical money, becuase in electeonic money you need to create a wallet, amd a lot of thing you need to create, in physical money you only need is put it in your pocket, and if you need to buy things you have a money in your pocket,

This is not sustainable. It is much better to encourage sustainable growth of living standards through resource. A society with a large population, an active economy, and easy communication over long distances could not plausibly be sustained without money

Re: Bitcoin futures
by
Emem29
on 31/12/2017, 12:22:37 UTC
Hi!
I'm a bit confused by all the talk about how bitcoin futures will affect bitcoin price.

As far as I understand, a futures contract is a binding agreement between 2 parties where mr A will buy an asset from mr B at a beforehand specified price and time.

The asset can be any commodity like oil etc, and are used both by producers as hedge and by speculators.

It is often possible to settle the agreement directly in cash, without buying/selling the actual underlying asset. I suspect most speculators prefer this option.

So, how will bitcoin futures work?
Will they require buying/selling bitcoin itself or will they just be settled in fiat cash?

I suspect these futures will primarily be used by speculators who probably will prefer to just settle them in cash.

So why would such a contract affect the bitcoin price at all?

I'm new so thanks for taking your time and explaing this to me Smiley

The future of bitcoin is be a number one wprld best currency in the whole world, becuase bitcoin is highly potential coin that give us to live a better life. Bitcoin is a good to earn money, hope bitcoin will become the most valuable currency, not only cryptocurremcy.

Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency
by
Emem29
on 31/12/2017, 03:11:04 UTC
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.

This is near to happen, hope bitcoin will become a global currency, if Bitcoin become a global currency, i think it can end world poverty. Bitcoin can not be called official global currency for now but, We can use Bitcoin, but some of us should use Bitcoin in secret unlike dollar. I hope my country will use Bitcoin as a tool to increase economy in this country.

Re: Before I Die...
by
Emem29
on 30/12/2017, 13:15:06 UTC
I want to see every single bank - central, private, or public, moneylenders, etc. wiped off the face of the earth.

I want to see every person earning less than $2 a day (10% of the world, definitely more as hidden figures and ever falling fiat value) have food, clothing, and shelter.

I want to see human beings transact across borders without any fear or market manipulations.

I want to see every human being live the life of dignity, as a free, sovereign individual, who takes care of his own food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare.

"Satoshi is Cyber Buddha - he arrived on this planet to liberate us from the central banking hegemony of fiat currency - a never ending cycle of booms and busts. Bitcoin is Nirvana."

I will die, but I...

WE.

WILL.

LIVE.

ON.

THE.

BLOCKCHAIN.

For me, i want to become a billionaire and before i die i want to hp more people becuase i want to help other, who need help. Nad befpre i die i want to merry the one and beautiful girl in my life and travel around the world with her.

Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty?
by
Emem29
on 30/12/2017, 09:56:03 UTC
Although bitcoin is a potential coin,it could not end world poverty since its supply is limited to only 21 million coins. It has transformed the lives of many people but still it is highly impossible to eradicate poverty from the world. But it could atleast change the life of some poor people.

It is true, bitcoin will never be able to end world poverty, because besides the number of bitcoinbyang is limited in addition, many people who do not understand about the use of bitcoin. Maybe only some of us who understand the tramp of crypto that can maximize this

Yes. It can, if bitcoin become papular all over the world, people will courage to make an work in bitcoin and make an investment, and in other country. i think it can end economic poverty, so it is good if bitcoin become a legal in whole world.

Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?
by
Emem29
on 29/12/2017, 16:46:29 UTC
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

I think it hurt to invest money in something rather than keep the money. When you put money into something, at most cases, steam can not fail you can not just be a win-win, keep this money, the value of money decreases and you can be a very big loss.

So you are suggesting on keeping money? I think if you know how to invest and get a solid investment I dont think those will hurt you. Like you said if we are keeping on money without doing anything with it the value will decrease and you will suffer more than that. So get a good investment is the best for increasing your value and sure you will get some profit too and one more thing remember to diversify it to lower your risk on losing all of your money

Keeping money in a savings account it pays a tiny tiny amount of interest.  I would not recommend it as an investment.

There are many regular investments that have less risk.  If you talk to a financial advisor they can help with low risk, and not huge reward investments.

That is what I said, I wouldn't recommend people as a really good investment. But nowadays people want to get a huge payout with a low risk investment which mean they dare not to invest big enough because they scare they will lose all of their money in investment.

Correctly said, If your investment is huge you will get huge profit and ofcourse the risk factor will always associated with that, but with a huge amount if you invest in trading even the small fluctuation in price can give you huge profits.

I think holding bitcoin is a good idea because it is a big chance to increase its price and you can have a good profit maybe. Becuase if we hold our money as like save, bitcoin will have good profit to us.

Re: Market capital, will XRP ripple be a permanent #2 to Bitcoin?
by
Emem29
on 29/12/2017, 15:03:54 UTC
Briefly XRP had a market capital of over $2 billion more than Ethereum, they are swinging back and forth right now pushing each other in to #2 and #3 positions.

XRP has rocketed the last few days but can it last long enough to position itself as a long term #2 to Bitcoin?

This is the 2nd big potential coin. I think this coin will reach 10$ soon, so i think its time to buy more in dip price good to hold for this coin. I have also 300 ripple its to small to hold. But i still hold this i know big profit will come to me..have patient.

Like many powerful currencies in the past, USD may fall to ground too, my question is will that effect BTC value? Or is it independent of all other real world or non digital currencies of the world?
That is bad for bitcoin and for america if DOLLOR value will go down. Its have big effect in a country, but for my country if dollor's go down its value, our money will go high, but i think it is better if the value of dollor will go high.

Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time?
by
Emem29
on 28/12/2017, 05:48:44 UTC
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?

The good thing to do is to hold it on since it is having its low value because sooner it will rise up because there will be investors that going to  buy coins and take chance with this and buy a lot of coins in low price then it will pop up again rise again. This is what is happening in this industry true investors waits for drop down and causes the price hike.
We should settle our mind too in that way. That is why rich become more richer and poor remains poor. We do not need to panic selling. Things will be good in time.

Bitcoin will back down due to the news aboyt investors like korea they get back their invest, and pushes some altcoins. I think thats the ine reason why bitcoi. Will gow down again. Bitcoin will hard to recover.

True. Bitcoin is hard to recover now. I think bitcoin need a more and big investors to recover again and overcome the all time high. So if they do that, bitcoin will reach $50k more.

by
Emem29
on 28/12/2017, 00:04:04 UTC
Yes bitcoin is a goodway to invest your money... but now i think the value of bitcoins is raging up maybe if you invest past few years ago maybe you're rich now, or maybe you can invest in some altcoins and maybe it will become a bitcoin or in other word an altcoin that you will rage up the price soon like ethereum. I've read many threads here that ethereum will replace bitcoins but we're not sure about that

True this is the good way to invest our money if we want to earn more, becuase value of bitcoin will go fast, and it will gonna be huge someday, i hope somrday all of my investment in bitcoin will triple.

Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low
by
Emem29
on 27/12/2017, 23:59:16 UTC
Bitcoin is the currency and there will be up and down in this currency the currency market from the start to till now are very sensitive and volatile. the price is getting low for now and we can not control it it in the demand and supply of this currency and the big investors who holded much amount of bitcoin they can move the prices to some sort of. the articles and the senior users of this currency have posted different posts regarding the fall in price but the main theme of all of them are same. currency is very sensitive and a small change can bring large changes.

I hope someday bitcoin will recover, and much more value, we all know that bitcoin now is in danger we cant pridect the value. Bitcoin is the greatest coins, i dont think if bitcoin go down faster that is danger for us.
