It has been listed on Cryptopia (link in the OP). This is the only exchange currently trading EMD. You can trade BTC, LTC, DOGE and a few others for EMD there. We are working on adding more exchanges.

The OP has been updated to reflect the addition of EMD to Cryptopia and that Cryptsy is no longer trading... anything.

I'm keeping a watch on the Cryptsy blog for any developments. I know that there are many (myself included) who have EMD at Cryptsy. My contacts there have been non-responsive to my inquiries recently, so it seems we will all have to wait it out and see what happens. Hopefully a solution will be forthcoming to allow the withdrawal of coins that were not involved in the theft that occurred.

Unfortunately, I was completely off the grid at my cabin for much of the past week and not aware of what was going down at Cryptsy and the push to get on Cryptopia.

Thanks to pazor_true for getting the ball rolling for the listing on Cryptopia and also to: spidersbox, The_Prof, sawa, and rudy4682 who contributed to the DOT fund to make the exchange listing possible. Those who contributed DOT, send me a PM with your EMD address and I'll send you some Emerald as a reward.
 

There really should not be any issues if you compiled the previous version in linux. There were no core changes that would make it not compile. The only changes made were added checkpoints, the new reward schedule and the version change.

I'll set up a build environment on one of my linux boxes and see what I can figure out. I've recently updated all of my computers and haven't had the time to create new build environments for everything, yet.
