That's really great. Now all the other merchants should accept this.
This is good news, I might go there someday just to spend my bitcoin on a burger!

Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins

I would hold them for now, spend them wherever I could and sell when bitcoin reaches $1000 again.
That's what I would do. Who knows, there might be a day when I can say that I'm able to do this.

Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins?

I heard about bitcoin through the news, of course that news was negative but it got me curious.
I started reading about it but didn't think much of it until recently, a couple of years ago.

Yes the price is now a good price to invest, I think. It will be have a higher value so I think that it will be more worth later.
More people must know about Bitcoin. I hope later that more people will use Bitcoin and that the value is going to rise.

I believe any price below $1000 is a good time to buy. Of course it depends on your situation and if you can afford to invest into bitcoin.
I know some people who can't so even if you can't buy right now, you should still try to earn some.

Keep yourself occupied, plan out your days ahead so you will always have stuff to do.
If you work 40 hours a week, you should plan stuff in your free time, like going to a gym and exercise. Join a club, find a new hobby.
A lot of stuff that you can do to keep yourself busy.

1000$? Not real i think, it just can't go from 400$ to 1000$ in less than year, yes, halving WILL increase price, but not so much

I think bitcoin will reach $1000 either before or after halving, but certainly not during.
We all have our own opinions so we all have to wait and see.
Nothing is set in stone when it comes to bitcoin.

I'm not surprised to see bitcoin going back up or back down.

That's just how this bitcoin market works. It goes up and down all the time.

Cry my eyes out, that's what I would do. That's a lot of bitcoins to just lose and never get back though.
Unless if I was rich in that situation, I wouldn't worry much about it.

This seems like a really nice and cool idea. $0.25 to pay to watch for a video is not too bad of a deal.

Re: How Do You Feel About Bitcoin Right Now?

1. Pretty good, I still see a lot of potential in bitcoin as far as growing in value goes.

2. I'm planning to hold onto my coins until the value of 1 btc is equal to $1000

Keep them save and hold on to them. Try to grow that amount and earn more.
I wouldn't spend any of my bitcoins just because I can, it's not needed for now.

The thing that you shouldn't do is click on the link that's in the email. Hopefully you didn't try to log on with that link.

I use blockchain.info as well but never got an email like that.

People are just greedy, greedy for money and they are all looking for a way to get rich quick.
Some people believe gambling is the way to go, just because they won 1 time big they will keep trying to win again and again, they think that they can get rich by doing so. While meanwhile they keep losing all that money and start creating their debt.

These dice strategies never work for me. I think with dice it has to do more with luck rather than figuring out a strategy to play the game.

That's just not an realistic outlook to have on 2016. I don't think bitcoin will reach this high of an amount, at least not with our generations of bitcoiners. It will probably take 2 or 3 more generations for bitcoin to get up like that.

I'm positive that bitcoin will go up again to the 600 - 700 range. Would be nice to see a price increase again after a slow start this year.
This slow start did give us an opportunity to buy again though, which isn't all that bad.

Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin?
by

The bad reputation of Bitcoin, Many people don't use Bitcoin because of the bad reputation bitcoin has got in these few years.
That's why only a few websites accept bitcoins.

Indeed, big corporate companies don't want anything to with bitcoin because of this. They are trying to stay away from anything that's coming out negative in the news. I'm hoping for this to change sometime soon so that they can all see what kind of potential bitcoin has.
